Getting Trial Ready

Yuroic thought on what Asaraa had to say, it was true that many did not think the Force capable of being a sentient thing that guides a person through their life. Yuroic was of the mindset of just going with the flow, to not stop the path he was on. It was easy give blame to their actions on the Force, however, perhaps he was giving too much credit to the Force. It was an impossible to know the answer. "Maybe you are right but then, if it is just in the background, why do the Sith think they can control the Force? Control the path it guides us? Living Force is common philosophy as is the Universal Force. However, both are theories that have merits and disadvantages."

Smirking as Asaraa stated that some would say it was their job to laid down their life for the innocent. "If we all jumped in front of bullets to save everyone, there would be no Jedi left to save those that are desperate for our help. We need to assess whether our sacrifice would improve things or not." Asa mentioned a fear of death, "don't fear death, it is inevitable and the one true constant in life. Eventually we will die, and it most likely won't change anything, think on all of the deaths that occurred before us, have they truly changed the galaxy?"

The padawan tilted her head to the side in quiet contemplation, "Well, some people do," leaning back she waved a hand behind her to encompass Silver Rest, to take in all the Jedi toiling away there. "You're right, most of us, we won't change the galaxy in a big way, not appreciably. but there are some people out there who do manage to change the world by themselves. I guess that's what most people want, to be one of those few who leave a mark on the galaxy that even time can't erase, we still know names like Skywalker and Sunstrider. Though," Asaraa offered him a small smile, "it might be better to be one of those kinda people who doesn't change the galaxy, they don't seem to be that happy. I think it'd be much better to just be one of the people who just change the life of the people around you. It might not get you into the history books, but it's a chance at happiness."

The girl scrubbed a hand over her face, "That's what it comes down to in the end, isn't it? Yeah, I'm scared of death and I'll be honest, I'm scared that the force has a path for me that I'm not going to like I mean..." she gestured at her hair. These days she'd gotten so used to it that she didn't even think about it but then she'd walk in front of a mirror and it would hit her all over again, "if the force is guiding us then it seems like it wants me to have an interesting life, and if it isn't...well then I've just had bad luck." She flashed a smile at Yuroic as she plucked a stem of grass, turning it over and over in her fingers to give them something to do. "The sith might say that they control the force, but they also say that they control people and we all know it's not really possible to do that. The Sith have a delusion that they can control the world around them, it's what makes them so scary, but ultimately so brittle."

Yuroic understood Asaraa's position, it was fair that she want to make a significant impact on the Galaxy, for the better he figured. However, this was a difficult situation. Yuroic chuckled deeply as he leaned against a tree. "Actually, most people just want a meal in their belly and to survive most till they are much too old. Most of us in the galaxy live in poverty, they don't care how long their name survives, just that they can provide for their children and live safely." Yuroic commented, it was experience he had living on Nar Shaddaa that he guessed that Asaraa didn't have. Sheltered living was nice but sometimes cold reality had to come and take things away.

"For Skywalker, Sunstrider and I'm surprised you never mentioned Shan, there was millions of others that assisted them and guided them to be great yet they are never remembered, these 'individuals' changed the way we thought about the Force, the Jedi Order and the relationships we can have. Of course, some will be marked down in history, one can argue it seems like every Sith wants to be marked down forever for something or other but that is just the life we live. I believe that we should just live our lives and never try and become great. If you try to always reach for it, you will end up tempted by the Dark Side." Yuroic warned as he watched Asaraa carefully, while he never wanted to be considered great, he did want to help make things better, work more in the background.

Yuroic understood Asaraa's fears, while death was never a fear of his own, he could see why it plagued her. It was natural, Yuroic had just been through so much that death seemed a relief, a break from the pain that life had caused him. "Death is natural to fear but don't, we know that it isn't an end, there are things like Force Ghosts and plenty of people 'die' but are still around nowadays. Don't let your concerns about dying dictate your actions, death is not something we can control. I could die tomorrow, nothing we could do to stop it."

"And yet, the Sith Empire is a strong threat we face." His sombre tone was to counter all thoughts that the Sith were brittle, their empire was growing rapidly in strength.
