Justicar Ascenda
J U D G M E N T
Location: Wrils, Capital City
Aligned: Therran Graush | James Cerensp | Mishel Kryze | Kyrel Ren
Engaging: Griet van Vliet | Jerec Asyr | Hamish McNair
Opposed: Caedyn Arenais | Aaran Tafo | Amilthi Camlenn | Svivren Jedi Enclave
The Justicar pivoted slightly as she felt the number of enemies around her grow. The sniper was not alone after all. What had been a friendly rivalry had now turned into battle; and so the pistol she'd retrieved to exchange fire was shoved back into its holster. From the look of the sniper's weapon fire plus their mobility they would be a problem, but one that could be managed as she was forced to contend with more...conventional opponents.
A burning visor turned down toward the woman that had taken position, gun at the ready. Was it the sniper or merely one of those that accompanied her? There was no time to ask or politely introduce herself. So far whoever this creature was had proven adamant about securing the city -- a resolve Ascenda could appreciate. Though she did have one sizable complaint to level at these city defenders.
She threw up her left hand as the volley of lightning and thunder soared into the sky. Searing bolts flew by the armored woman as she stood in place. The torrential outpouring of death-seeking rays might obscure it for a moment, but once the hail ceased the threat became clear to both of them.
"I will have ORDER in this court," their uninvited guest snapped. Five bolts raged at being suspended in midair. The Justicar held them fast for a second longer before she stepped away from the ledge. The Umbaran lances of energy allowed to pass through a now vacant position.
Ascenda drew out her lightsaber before she reached back and removed the short cape at her back. She threw the material high and toward the city defender below in an effort to gauge if her weapon needed time to cycle after such a display of power. If it did not then the wise course of action would be to reposition or retreat without more numbers to surround the woman. And if it did, the Justicar might have an opportunity...
Her helm turned slightly to one side then. An opportunity her reinforcements would soon complicate.
