Give--Them--Justice!

Catching his breath, James watched Ryn bite down and kill one of the guards. He decided to have a long talk with the feline later about which side was the real him; the gore covered monster or the peaceful, youthful side. It was a dichotomy he had seen a few times before, but he was sure he would be able to live with it; he was sure he would or find a way.

James bent over and grabbed the second Gamorrean's vibro ax. It felt unwieldy in his hands, so unbalanced and uncivilized. To make things worse the metal shaft felt a revolting mixture of slick and sticky from the pig-like mucus and sweat. James felt himself puke a little into his mouth.

"Just think of it as a pipe," he told himself, "think of it as pipe and they are the scuzz."

Nodding to himself, he listened to the robed stranger's plan, that worked for him. There was power in numbers, and with the looks of the amount that was coming, they would need it. He grabbed a key from one of the other guards and tossed it to Bat, "See what ye can do with that, mate."

The beast, once certain his pack was unharmed, turned about again to face the newly approaching threats, fur on his back rising as a threatening snarl was issued, the strength of which was easily felt by all within ten meters.

It was at this point in time, that the sentient mind of Ryn'Dhal, the brave, the kind, the peaceful padawan, managed to resurface from under the layers upon layers of primal hunters instinct. It was also at this point the padawan, in the form of the monstrous beast, lowered his gaze to the fresh corpse his right paw was resting on. Seeing the damage to the Gamorean's face, Ryn knew who had done such a grotesque thing. None of the others had the equipment required to do such a thing. He wanted to break out, and free the others. He never intended.... never wanted.... not this!

The massive beast ceased it's growling the moment it's eyes fell once more on the creature it had slain only a moment prior. The three escapee's would watch with varied emotions, ranging from confusion, to potentially fear, or none of the above, as the feline beast began backing away from the corpse, his tail low to the ground twitching rapidly, a sign of heightened anxiety. Looking to the others, eyes wide, the beast shook his head to them, before looking at the corpse again, and back once more. A low, guttural, growling noise came out of the beasts maw. If the humanoids knew any better, the beast just said "No...."

Genuine remorse covered the beasts face, as his ears folded back. His entire form shuddered, as he quite spectacularly projectile vomited towards a wall (thankfully) away from the others. Meanwhile, through all this, the Gamorean guards kept their distance, an air of confusion settled upon them so thick one could cut it with spoon. They should have taken advantage of the momentarily disabled monster, and the slightly distracted escapees, but.... Whatever the feth was going on with that monster was just too dang engrossing.

Bat watched as the newly arrived wave of Gamorreans were met with the growl of the cat beast. Then, just as quickly as it had mauled into the previous guard, it began to shake it's head and make strangely word-like sounds. He realized in a moment that the toll of the murder must have taken the mind of the cat back to the realm of reality.

It was rather curious watching how utterly disgusted the cat seemed to be. This was especially noted when it vomited with significant force towards one of the walls away from the others. Bat hated the smell, but he powered through it in much the same way he had been since the first guard had been shivved in the snout.

Bat caught a pair of keys that were thrown to him by the other strange and hard to identify individual with instructions to see what he could do with them. It had occurred to him that they might not be the only prisoners, but it wasn't until this moment that the idea really became sensible. They could release the prisoners and overrun the pigs.

For a brief moment he had a thought that maybe Husk had been captured, and that he would be locked up in one of the cells. Though the thought was quickly dismissed as Bat came to the realization that Husk could have punched out of one of these cells, and that; if he were in the building, he would be in a more secure cell.

Bat ran through the cells, beginning a slow and methodical search through them in hopes of finding potential allies.

The monster's display was...intriguing to Kratos. From small cat thing to huge karking monster to... the word elude him. Remorseful? It certainly that way. When the airborne gob of vomit hit the wall with a loud thunk, he determined that it had to be a combination of disgust and remorse. At any rate, the other two seemed to be following through with his plan. It was a minor setback that the monster was experiencing a change of heart, meaning that Kratos would have to take point. Not his preferred choice, but if he had to buy time for the others it would have to do. Quickly, he unhooked the keys and tossed them to the others.

"I think I remember seeing more cells down the next corridor," he shouted above the grunting pigs, pointing to where the corridor turned a corner. Unfortunately, there was a half dozen pigs in between them and the cells. Half a dozen pigs who, having spotted the shredded remains of their companions, seemed quite angry. The grunting intensified as the group slowly charged forward, picking up speed with every step. A death ball of pork and ax approached the group with no intent of slowing down. Their only saving grace was that the pigs wide girth and the small corridor only permitted two at a time.

Hoping he could buy enough time for the cat monster to regain its composure, or at least enough time to reload its vomit and aim at the pigs, Kratos charged at the pigs head-on. In such a close corridor, it would be difficult to fight the entire group, but he could count on them being to afraid of hitting their friends to take any good swings. He dashed towards them, his muscle movements quick and determined underneath his robes. His training with the B'omarr monks had given him the perfect background for combat, the emphasis on removing distractions allowing him to focus on one thing: the battle. It wasn't helped by the Force, but the effect was similar.

Having to only face two enemies at once made his job easier. Two axes were troublesome, but he could handle it. Six axes? Not a chance. As he met the first two guards head on, he decided to even the odds a little more. He brought the ax across his body diagonally, knocking the first blow askew. Then, he planted one foot and channeled strength into one kick, knocking the first Gamorrean flat on its back. In the close corridors, the guards behind it, caught by surprise, had nowhere to run. The three guards toppled like piggy Dominoes. It would have been comical had it not been for the other guards.

Turning back to the original guard, Kratos ducked under a nasty chop towards his head and brought his fist up into the underside of the Gamorrean's jaw, feeling the body go limp as the pig fell, out like a light. RIght after the first, the second guard arrived, attempting a two-handed over head chop. Kratos brought his ax up over his head, clashing with the pig's axe on the stick. He could feel his entire body shudder underneath the weight of the blow, and hoped that the cat monster would be back soon. He was faster, better trained, and had better leverage, but he was no match for the sheer strength of the pigs. One mistake and he was gone.

James watched Ryn fall back and--well, he wasn't sure if that was vomit or a misplaced acid attack that landed on a wall. Judging by the smell, he guessed it was vomit. Maybe the Gamorreans really did taste disgusting, he wasn't sure.

One of the green pig-like guards made a wild cleave at the middle of James' body, snapping him out of his thoughts. The spacer twisted out of the line of attack, countering with two handed slash to its neck. A thick spray of blood gushed out of the wound. The hearty enemy shrugged it off and knocked the blade out of James' hands, sending it clattering across the stone flooring. The bulky Gammorean, quickly getting soaked in its own gore pulled back for a downward swing, the weight behind it alone would have easily split the spacer in two. James sprang forward ramming his elbow into the pig-like snout, feeling it crunch under his weight. Finally, the rotunda foe collapsed, dead.

James took a few leaps back, dodging a wild barrage of ax swings that were coming his way. He retreated to Ryn and stood directly in the feline's vision, "Mate, we need ye to wake up. We gonna die if ye dun't snap out of it. Come on," he waved his hands frantically, "ye hear me? They be gonna kill us!"

Ryn couldn't believe how savagely he murdered that Gamorean. Sure, they would have killed him given the chance.... but, biting it's karking face off? That was.... just.... brutal. The chaos continued around him as he fought his inner-predator from retaking the outer.

That was when [member="James Justice"] got in his face, pleading for his aid. His pack.... no.... his friend.... needed him. A heavy shake of his head, and those intelligent eyes locked onto James'. They narrowed slightly when he heard his friend, "... They be gonna kill us!"

His muzzle curled into a snarl, as he growled out a single word. "No...." The beast lumbered past James. "They're.... not going.... to kill... us...." The growl was more than audible. It was felt within the bodies of those around the beast. The monstrous feline gave a savage snarl, causing the attention of every remaining Gamorean to snap to him. He was the largest living being in the room. He was the loudest. And by the Force, he was the karking scariest.

"You.... have two options!" The growling voice snarled out. "Drop.... your.... weapons...." After that last word, he promptly turned his head to the side, and braced his maw against the corner of the stone hallway leading into the cells where they were kept. He then proceeded to literally BITE A CHUNK OUT OF THE STONE WALL! "Option two...." He rumbled, glancing once at the massive hole, then glaring at the Gamorean's.

"Word of.... advice...." He growled as the pigs proceeded to process the threat the beast was making. "I.... am faster.... than any.... of you...." His golden eyes narrowed, the fierce glare promising only a swift, albeit violent, death. He began weaving the Force through his being, his limbs feeling a lightness, a limberness, as he willed the Force to augment his already incredible reflexes and agility. Yes, this terrifyingly fast, and strong, feline.... was capable of using the Force in this form still. His further Force-enhanced speed was just stacking the deck, providing a guarantee that even if the Gamorean's don't comply, he can swiftly dispatch them before they either harm one of his friends, or seek to alarm others. Check... Mate....

Bat let out a quick huff as he finished looking through the remaining cells that had been near their own, only to find that they had all been empty. Apparently, other prisoners were being housed in another corridor, according to the strange fellow anyways. He had no reason not to trust that advice, especially given the evidence that there were no other people trapped in this specific spot with them.

The fight raged on as he turned to survey the events that had occurred since his last look. They appeared to be quite outnumbered, though, it also looked as though the monstrous cat was preparing itself to fight them once more. It's threat wasn't lost on his ears as he watched it tear stone from the wall with it's teeth.

The thought flickered into his mind once more that after all of the pigs were dead, it might be in his best interest to either get as far from that thing as possible, or to put it down. He shook his head. No, this person was a fellow prisoner, it meant he was probably innocent and didn't deserve death just for being different. There was no reason to kill, perhaps there was one to stun however.

He didn't think any of his weapons had a stun feature. The idea of his weapons made his mind flicker back to the fight, scanning the ground, he rapidly grabbed onto the feet of the corpse that James Justice had killed, pulling it back and away from the still alive and threatening Gamorreans. A quick scrounge through it's pockets turned up commlink, worn and slightly damaged from age and misuse.

He held it up to his ear, and listened.
"Yes, it appears as though the prisoners in the West Corridor are attempting escape."
He heard several grunts of acknowledgement from the other end, followed by a sissing noise that made him think snake, or Trandoshan perhaps.
"Hey, pals! I think we might have more incoming in a couple!" He warned from the back of the group.

Kaly had recently heard her employer, [member=james justice] had been imprisoned by some gamorreans. She decided to help him break out. This was not her first time breaking out of prison, but normally she was the one escaping, not the person who blows in. She had dug through a few (oddly unguarded) records and figured out his cell block. She had a plan to get in, but for getting out, that was the fun part, she did not really have one, every prison is different, and you can never really make plans. She walked to the equivelent spot nearby. Placing the explosives, she then after getting a safe distance away, detonated them. Walking in through the rubble, she saw what appeared to be a Cat beast, Justice, and another guy. The blast seemed to have killed a group of gamorrean guards. She was heavily armed and brought a few extra weapons and was wearing her armor.
"Sorry to intrude, im just here to orchestrate a prison break. You guys seem like the prison break kind of guys, you want in?." She said.

The monster's sudden shift in personality went completely unnoticed by Kratos. Having to fight the guards took all of his concentration. Like with his training with the monks, he had removed all distractions, meaning everything outside of trying his best to stay alive. He'd taken out one guard so far, which had only angered the others. He didn't feel the shake of the beast taking a chunk out of the wall, nor the growling which ensued. He could very faintly recognize that the beast was making some sort of speech, but as of that moment it wasn't actually accomplishing anything. It had one hell of a bite, but right now it was still all bark.

His opponents' eyes widened in fear, something that Kratos could not attribute to himself. He wasn't scary or terrifying. Mysterious at best, but certainly not terrifying. As the nearest guard squealed in terror, Kratos seized the opportunity, pressing his advantage. Two strikes, one with the hilt of the ax to the solar plexus and the next upwards, slamming the hilt into the pig's throat. Gasping for air, the pig collapse into a heap on the floor, down and out of the fight. He readied his weapon, waiting for the next challenger silently and without movement. He hadn't said a word the whole time, only the whistling of his weapon and the rustling of his robes.

Fortunately, none of the pigs seemed willing to take on the fight. Instead, they were staring past him and trembling, presumably at the cat beast. He didn't think it was all that scary, but he was more composed than the common pig. The cat was talking the talk alright, but it couldn't even stomach killing one guard. Kratos would have looked back to witness the spectacle, but he knew better than to take his eyes off his opponents. Instead, he leapt backwards, putting himself behind the monster. If it faltered, he would be right behind it.

He readied himself, shifting back into his neutral stance, eyeing the guards carefully. He'd worked hard to knock out even two of them, but it was better than striking a death blow. Of course, all of his hard work was undone with a sudden BOOM.

When the smoke cleared, he could only see the shredded remnants of the pigs and a gaping hole in the wall. He was so focused on his task that he hadn't even flinched, and it took him a second to refocus himself on his companions. He could see a woman standing in the former wall, offering them a way out. Rather than answering her, he glanced towards his companions, deferring to them.

The dust from the explosion clouded the air and made James cough uncontrollably. He waved his hands wildly trying to clear some clean air. At last the dust settled and he saw the carnage, which was practically enough to make him want to vomit. He blinked and had to think twice before making sure he was seeing things correctly--yes that was Kalyn alright, standing with weapons bristling right in the middle of the death and aftermath.

He fished for a cig absent-mindedly as he let out a chuckle, "Well, I'll be," his free hand reached out and slapped her armored shoulder with a loud laugh, "I'll be a fething space slug's uncle, ye are the last person I expected to see," he looked over his shoulder seeing the tunnel collapse behind her. He laughed again and looked around at the others. Did they know her? He guessed not, "Mates, this be one of my associates, Kalyn," he said loudly, he was sure his voice echoed through the halls loudly but he didn't really care. He was glad to see her, and he was a boisterous person.

Guards up the hall could be heard shuffling, getting closer, he thought for a moment, "I suggest we press this here advantage, move in and take them down afore we are crushed when they get down here," he looked around, "who be wanting to lead the way? I were a bit," he chuckled sheepishly, 'drugged when they broughts me up here."

The massive beast blinked a few times as the wall folded inward under the force of an explosion. As the dust settled, he stared wide-eyed at the carnage. Dead bodies everywhere. And a well-armed armored woman coming in. His head cocked slightly as [member="James Justice"] approached and introduced [member="Kalyn Skirata"] to the rest of them. The beast was already up and stalking towards the far end of the corridor as James made mention of not know the way out. A heavy snort, and slight jerk of his head towards the right at the end of the hall, and he'd glance back towards the rest. A low rumble emitted. "This.... way...."

He'd continue stalking along, massive paws making no sound as he found his way into a large area. Looked like in-mate processing. Six cells lining each side of the room, along with multiple work stations for processing paperwork. Also what seemed to be make-shift hand-held trebuchet on several of the desks, with small pieces of garbage littered near them. Judging by the similar pieces of trash in some of the prisoners cells, it was obvious the Gamorean's took pleasure in mocking the captives with these devices.

Speaking of prisoners, they all cowered away from the doors of the cages as the beast stalked in. Ryn paid them no mind, as he stalked across and braced himself near the opposite door, hidden from view behind a desk, as he awaited the perfect moment to ambush. He'd wait, listening carefully, and feeling for any approaching pig-guards, while his friends and allies freed more of the prisoners.

Bat had been staring almost directly at the explosion when it went off; a blinding flash of red and a ground shaking BOOM. He blinked away reflexive tears and rubbed his palms over his ears, individually so as not to accidentally untie the sheets he still had wrapped around his hands.

Someone had stepped into the space where a moment earlier, several Gamorreans had been standing. He looked around for the vanishing pigs, still disorientated from the blast and realized where they were. There was one there, and a bit there, and another piece upon the ceiling. "Guess we don't have to fight them anymore." He spoke, giving a quick shake of his head at the scale of death.

James spoke of pushing their advantage and asked who would lead the motley crew further into the den of vice and death. The cat being stalked forth, leading them down the hallway. They came to a room which contained more cells, and the strange and destitute beings inside all seemed to move away from their resident monster, the fear evident in the way they held their eyes.

Bat shrugged, and; with a flick of the keys, set about unlocking the prisoners from their cages.
"Welcome to freedom."

Kalyn followed [member=bat] to the prisoner room, she was carrying a very large dufflebag. Throwing it on the floor, she zipped it open, revealing a large amount of slugthrowers and vibroblades. She picked slughthrowers for their simplicity, there was probably enough for everyone. Kalyn herself was using a revolver, .44 magnum, she had started to like this type of gun and was planning to make one herself.
"Take what you like" She said to the group of escaped convicts.
[member=james justice] [member=ryn'dhal] [member=kratos bandua]

Their rescuer seemed to have all manner of things inside her duffelbag. As she kept pulling weapon after weapon out, Kratos began to wonder if it wasn't bigger inside than outside. It almost seemed to defy the laws of physics. Despite the dazzling array of deadly weapons at his disposal, Kratos knew that his best option was to stick with that he knew best: the ax.

The blade had been kept in near-perfect condition by its former owner; it glinted in the prison's lights like a small star. Clearly it had been loved almost like another Gamorrean. A twinge ran through his chest, the thought plucking on his heartstrings like a harp. Despite the large, brutish figure and primitive brain, the guards weren't unlike Kratos. That could have been him, his face torn off and his guts spilling on to the floor with no one to remember him. This was why Kratos had always made a rule against killing when unnecessary. Maybe it was compassion, or just the fear of death. Either way, you'd be hard-pressed to find another person more hesitant to kill yet so eager to fight.

The grunting and heavy thunder of boots down the hall interrupted his thoughts, dragging him back to the moment. More Gamorreans were coming, and lots of them. He knew the cat monster would take care of the guards easily. He didn't like the idea, but disarming the warriors had proved to be too risky and too difficult for him to take on. Instead, he set about freeing the prisoners. Their gratitude towards the silent figure fell on deaf ears. Kratos was too absorbed in his own thoughts to pay attention to anything else going on.

James Justice chuckled as he grabbed a pair of blaster pistols and weighed them in his hands. They were moderately strong, not his good old deathhammer, but still they would do.

The seasoned spacer put both into his belt and reached out to grab a shot gun slugthrower. His hands were shaking. The man grit his teeth and clenched his fist, willing to stop. He hoped no one else saw that. His need for tobacco was starting to have visible affects. Stowing a handful of shells in his pocket. The addict thought he would give all of them for a single cigarette right now.

Before he could sit up a volley of blaster fire pinged off the walls.

"Feth," he muttered as he ducked for cover.

The Beast wasn't the one in control. The padawan hidden deep inside was. The first Gamorean warrior barreled through the entry-way, blaster bolts flying, when it promptly became quite thoroughly acquainted with the hard, cold, stone ground. The massive beast had exploded forth in a burst of action. Forelegs splayed wide in the leap, bringing them towards it's prey. Massive paws batting both the rifle down and away harmlessly, and against the back of the Gamorean's head. After riding the pig-faced humanoid to the ground, clear of the entryway and potential cross-fire, the Gamorean was rendered motionless. Hopefully only unconscious, rather than dead. Either option was possible, given the magnitude of the blow the pig-face took to the back of his head.

Ryn would have liked to have confirmed the pigman was only battered, and not dead, but more combatants were coming into the room. Could he afford compassion? Could he afford the restraint he was unable to bring to bear back so shortly after their initial escape?

The padawan did not know, but he knew he had to try. Redemption for ones sins needed to be possible....

Coiling for the next pounce, the beast slunk back into the shadows, his dark fur a natural camouflage in the low-light environment of this dungeon. He braced himself, willing and weaving the Force through his being. He was preparing for the coupe-de-gras, hoping to end this engagement as quickly as he could, with hopefully as few casualties as possible. There'd been enough death this day....

Bat; unlike Kratos, reveled in the gratitude that was given him and gave a hearty "No problem" to each person stepping out of the cells. A few of them scattered down the hallways, and a couple stayed behind, gathering up slugthrowers to help their rescuers in their fateful escape. He personally shifted through the bag, looking through the weapons for something that he could actually use.

He didn't find anything, and with a sigh he curled his head in the direction of the next fight, watching as their resident cat monster slammed a Gamorrean hard enough to potentially kill him with sheer force. His head spun around to the workstations and his eye caught notice of the slightest glint. A beautiful sight, sitting there under one of the workstations was his beloved Jurkad.

Possibilities ran through his head, perhaps the guard had decided to take it for himself, or maybe it simply hadn't been processed yet. There it was, laying alone in the same fashion as a cadaver, waiting for the greedy fingers of Bat to pluck it from it's eternal rest. The grin that pressed upon his mask was visible from the outside, and the radiance he invoked around him was a clear sign of his appreciation to have a tool back under his use.

His fingers gently ran along the Jurkad, pressing into it's sides as he switched it over to semi-automatic. A quick flicker of his hands upon the attachments guaranteed that they were in place and ready to use. He rose up, above the workstation and spoke, once more the grin seeming to pierce the very air around him in his enjoyment "Who's ready to die!"

A pair of shots directed themselves towards him, one slicing the air beside him and another crackling hard into the workstation. He pointed the weapon, focusing for a moment upon his assailant; a rough looking Weequay holding a blaster pistol. His breath released itself half-way as his finger leaned into the trigger, the bolt of red light sailed through the air, over the head of the resident cat beast by mere inches before striking the Weequay in the left eye and scattering chunks of his face into finely boiled mist.

Kalyn got up and started firing at the Gamorreans. Kalyn knew her armor would do her no good right now, it was a multigenerational heirloom, and the armor plates were weakening, and some even fell off completely, she needed a new set soon. As she was fighting, one gamorrean got a lucky shot on her upper arm, one of the weak points with a slughthrower. She screamed in pain.
"gar ad be a yialeti'r «you son of a bi***>>" She shouted before shooting him right through the face
Kalyn quickly left the battle zone and hid behind a wall, she removed her armor, as it would interfere with stopping the bleeding, and ripped her shirt, which she was wearing under her armor, in order to make a makeshift tourniquet. Now having nothing on her upper body but her bra, she first removed the bullet with her fingers, hell it hurt, but it did the job, she then applied the tournequiet She then went to meet up with the others., shooting a few gamorreans on the way. She put the armor in the now empty duffelbag, she needed to get everyone out of there asap, either that or find a first aid kit.
"Anyone know where i can find any medical equipment, otherwise we better get out of here asap." She said.

Kratos could hear the chaos erupting behind him, the gleeful shouts of his former cellmate ringing through the small corridor. He sounded like he was having a great time, and the added firepower would be enough to halt the guards' advance. He continued working on the prisoners, a small group of over a dozen now gathered awkwardly behind the cat and the gunners. Kratos wanted to help, but he felt he was more needed with the prisoners. He imagined his silence and unshakable demeanor would be a rock for the prisoners to cling to as they reoriented themselves and hid from the incoming blaster fire.

Luckily, they still had a way out: back the way they came. The hole that the Mando had blasted open was an impromptu escape route. It would be easier, resulting in less loss of life, but at the same time they'd be leaving most of the prisoners behind. The decision got even more complicated when the Mando reeled in pain, a slugthrower burying its payload inside of her arm. She seemed to be stable for the moment, but that type of wound would require more medical care. It had been a while, but he'd spent years learning healing techniques from the B'omarr monks. Even with the healing, they still had to face the choice that he couldn't bring himself to make.

"I don't have any real equipment, but I do know quite a bit of ancient B'omarr healing techniques," he announced calmly, glancing up from freeing another prisoner. "But it will take some time; you others will have to hold the guards off." He didn't know their names, nor their stories, but right now they were the only ones he could depend on. He didn't harbor a dislike for independent spacers, and these lot seemed to at least care about others. He waited for the Mando's consent, not wanting to embarrass her. Many of the members of the warrior clan he had met on his travels attempted to emit a cool, collected persona, and administering medical care might break that. He knew just as well as anyone that reputation was everything in some parts of the galaxy.

James nodded when he saw the--change-- in Kalyn's clothing choices. It took him a second of staring to come to terms with it. A blaster shot that barely missed his face brought James back to the present. He jolted and fired back before nodding, "Right, got ye mate."

With a flourish he jumped into the open firing off a few rounds, "Come on, ye feth dogs, get some-- uai bankop bai manpanh mee woy." «prepare to meet your maker»

He ducked under a shot that nearly singed his dashing face. James shot back, wounding the Nikto before spinning out of the way of a mad volley. He let the Force begin to flow through him, in a rare moment accepting the chaos dichotomy between light and good. That was all the real world was--chaos. Neither good nor bad, just chaos that helped some and squished others.

Twisting, he dodged a barrage of blasterfire. He jumped over another shot, landing on his foot wrongly and falling on his face. Both of his guns clattered out of his hands across the floor.

"Gods damn it," James cursed as he twisted out of enemy fire.

When he was safe James spat, "Thanks alot 'all powerful Force.'"
