- Strong Armor & Defenses | In addition to it's combat prowess, the Glory-III Class Dark Troopers are equipped with a vast amount of defenses to grant it increased survivability rates enabling it to survive heavy beatings from enemy forces.
- Extremely Agile | The Glory-III Dark Troopers are extremely agile capable of moving around the battlefield with relative ease, capable of jumping over high obstacles and run faster then the average organic.
- Personality Matrix | Each Glory-III Dark Trooper have their own personality, quirks, and traits through a Personality Matrix installed on them. As such, the combat style amongst each Dark Trooper varies greatly enabling them to remain as an unpredictable force on the battlefield.
- Large Profile | The Glory-III Dark Trooper possesses a relatively large profile, allowing enemy forces to quickly identify them and engage them.
- Unstable Terrain | The Glory-III Dark Trooper does not fair well in certain areas such as Mountains and Jungles, which it's abilities are limited by the terrain, which once more could be exploited by enemy forces.
- Unpredictable | Despite being equipped with personality matrixes, Glory-III Dark Troopers are still conditioned to follow orders to the letter although they will use any means necessary to complete these orders even at the expense of friendly forces.
- Vulnerability to Exotic Weapons | The Glory-III Dark Trooper despite all it's strengths is still vulnerable to certain exotic weapons such as CyroBan and Sonic Weaponry on top of already having low resistance to corrosive materials.
Since it's formation the Dark Empire has managed to gather and consolidate an impressive military force, going on to execute various operations on Coruscant, Onderon, Ord Cantrell and Corbos. However as it began gearing up for war against it's long-time foes in the Core Worlds, one thing became apparent and that would be the lack of manpower at the Dark Empire's disposal, especially in comparison to it's well-established rivals in the Core Worlds. As such in order to compensate for the Empire's lack of manpower, Grand Admiral Marlon Sularen would begin work on a new project aimed at providing the Imperial Military the means to stand on par with it's enemies and ensure that they could maintain the initiative even with their small size.
This project would manifest in the form of the Glory-III Dark Trooper, a successor to the Mawite Glory-II Dark Trooper developed by Haon Hafey while also drawing some inspiration from the Battle Droids employed by the New Imperial Order during the early days of the Second Great Hyperspace War. Featuring a great amount of physical strength, extensive armaments, strong armor and vast defenses among many other "Exotic" peices of technology, the Glory-III Dark Empire now serves as a Heavy Infantry Support droid capable of holding it's own ground against it's foes, laying waste to any who dare stand in their away and secure victory for the Dark Empire in the many battles to come.
