DESCRIPTION:
The GN-0401 Virtue was commissioned by the Republic Army to assume the role of a bomber-starfighter. Dually designed by engineers hailing from Alderaan and Naboo, the Virtue is an engine of destruction unheard of in galactic history. It's payload includes two especially deadly types of bombs: Electro-Proton and Gravity, though these bombs are in short supply and make up the vast minority of the total payload. The Virtue lacks any defensive armaments and must be escorted into battle. It is a common practice of Virtue pilots unfortunate enough to be shot down to aim their crashing vessel towards an enemy target before ejecting, as the collision will ignite the entirety of the payload, often resulting in the destruction of the target.

I'm always wary of submissions that describe themselves as the "ultimate" piece of technology, especially if it's supposed to be mass-produced. I'm also not sure what a "gravity bomb" is supposed to do.

At this time, I don't think we can allow Gravity Bombs for use in factions just yet. Conventional payloads should suffice, and you may give it some personal armament in compensation if you would like. I just feel that, with the galaxy only recently coming out of the darkness, such a powerful weapon deploy-able from bombers is too much when one considers the likelihood of a full-scale attack being mounted against the Republic. In time, after a number of conflicts have passed, we can revisit the idea of gravity bombs in some fashion.
