Goddess Cultures & Fighting Fists (Mandalorian Empire Dominion of Hapes Hex AA26)[ME/HC]

Objective: 2
Location: The Throat, acting present Royal Hapes Navy
Allies: The Hapes Consortium
Enemies: The Pirates
Currently [SIZE=11pt]Neutral[/SIZE]: The Mandalorian Empire
Glimmering cloud of blue hugged the Throat in one large tunnel. It was a focal point. An entrance into the Transitory Mists and the home of the Hapes Comsortium. This was just one of the two entrances that were always heavily guarded.

This regain of the galaxy was dangerous. It was one large mass-shadow. No hyperspace jumping was possible. Narrow winding tunnels with unpredictable Nebula storms. There were places that opened up and more than one solar system within the Mists. For Centuries the Hapen Royal Navy ruled these parts defending it furiously for their Queen and their people.

After entering through the Throat, it opened up into a portion of Hapen space the Happen navy used for as long since before the conception of the Consortium. A portion of space Emperor Palaptine had sent more than one Admiral and a fleet of ships to die.

The Seven pirate cruisers opened up fie on the lone Hapen Battle Dragon. The iconic Hapen vessel shook as the shield fought to stave off the damage. It was out numbered the shields were starting to drain. Even through the shields the vessel did not seem like it was fairing that well. The ship did not idly sit still as lurch forward using sublight speed thrusters.

The massive center point disks that were its main body started to spin. 50 Turbo laser batteries and 50 ion opened up fire on one of the closest pirate vessels. As it continued the spinning barrage of fire behind the back of the battle Dragon, 16 pulse-mass interdiction mine dispensers started to drop mines out the back of the ship.

As the Battle Dragon continued to take a pounding the two tipple linked Ion Canons flared to life hitting the pirate ship that was the main target. For now the Battle Dragoon did not release any starfighters.

This was a staging area. In a part of space it was hard to tell where your enemies were. From mutable directions 3 Hapen Nova-class battle cruisers came out of what appeared to be the blue clouds. In true they just came out of tunnels that were angled in such a way they just looked part of the Mists.

Through their front firing arc with 25 heavy turbo laser batteries and 10 heavy point defensive laser cannons began to fire. It was an ambush. This was a staging area. Not only could there be more Happen ships close by, there could be even larger more powerful ships that were in range.

The Pirate ship Delovar may have slipped by. Sadly it was heading straight for another staging area the Queen Mother had been setting up for a task force. It would be heading straight for a handful of cruiser class ships like the Happen Battle Dragon and Nova-class battle cruisers.

From an unknown location somewhere in the Transitory Mists a communication was sent to the invading pirate vessels.

“This is Fleet Adrmial Grey of the Hapen Royal Navy”, the clone of Aleister Grey spoke. “You have entered Consortium space and in direct violation of the Consortium zero tolerance for piracy. There is only one sentence. Death!”

The transmission was canceled. The message was sent. The Royal Hapen Navy gave no mercy to piracy

“Your Grace, I do have reservations about their warrior culture. While I know that Mandalorians are egalitarian, I fear that there is likely an undercurrent of machismo. Hopefully I’m wrong and perhaps you can help guide me in this matter."

She looked at Cathoboda as if the fellow Hapan could help her explain the disquiet she felt.

“They just need to know that like Tusken Raiders never show their face, our culture is quite unique our traditions and history. Simply put we do not bow to men.”

Oh Tha’ga this is why you are not Queen. Hung up on customs and not discussing trade, commerce and territory like the Ta’a Chume had been.

“Forgive me, Your Grace. I do not speak of the most important matters here. Economic prosperity and tactical access to the Mists should be first and foremost in the discussion. The Heritage Council’s demands come second. And let’s hope Yasha Mantis is a woman of her word.”

Objective: Fight off the Pirates
Post: 2

He pulled the stick of his Starbird hard as a pirate fighter pulled in to his rear. The cannon fire was closing in on him as he continued to pull off the swaying of his fighter. He did not have the understanding of this fighter to pull off the stunts needed to get the fighter in a position to take out these enemies. His wingman was down and he was separated from the rest of his squadron, mainly due to the fact that he was attempting to meet up with them. He was able to take out two of their fighters, rookies at best who joined the pilots for a quick cred. How they had chosen the wrong side of Jake's cannons.

He took a deep breath as he readied his body for the massive change and calculated the physics for the maneuver. With so little information he mostly had to rely on his gut feeling. His brother would not approve of such a baseless idea, but what was the fun in knowing the outcome.

Revving the engine to max speed and seeing if the enemy did the same, the min they looked like they were in close pursuit he head the beeping of the warning system. The enemy had locked onto him with a torpedo. From behind the helmet, he cut the engines and put the maneuvering thrusts to stop him. The fighters chasing him zoomed passed him and took off to the front of his view port. His head pounded as the forced stop put at least 5 gravitational pull on his body at the change of speed, and still he put the engines in a full burn. His eye sight narrowed as his body could not supply blood to the brain with such a change in environment. However, he scanned the area by moving his eyes back and forth, and he found the targets.

The two ships that where chasing him had started to split, seeing that they were now the prey. Jake would not let them go, he locked onto one of the enemies with a Proton Torpedo and turned to the other. Launching the missile, the pirate scum did not know what hit him as the fighter was engulfed in a plume of smoke and fire. The other was fired on by Jake's laser cannons and all four sprayed the armature pilot, and his attempt of swaying only made him more predictable. The cannons make quick work of the poorly put together fighter.

Realizing he took out the enemy, he heard a transmission from another ship. “This is Fleet Adrmial Grey of the Hapen Royal Navy”, There was a pause. “You have entered Consortium space and in direct violation of the Consortium zero tolerance for piracy. There is only one sentence. Death!”

Jake took his fighter to the source of [member="Aleister Grey"] signal, "Hapen Navy, This is Clansman Jake of Clan Awaud, I was separated form my unit and there are many fighters in these space, I would request permission to tag along as your escort till I find my unit"

It was a long shot, but the Mand'alor and the Queen were suppose to be having talks so they could work together, right?

Objective 1 - Diplomacy
[member="Cathbodua"] | [member="Allana Badeaux"] | [member="Tha'ga Temi"]
Guests that are coming - [member="Yasha Mantis"]

"One can only hope that what we have heard about Mandalorian honor is true." Mel walked slowly as she thought about her words, she looked over to the Queen Mother, and then to Tha'aga then to the Jedi Cathbodua . She didn't trust force users very much either it took a long time to earn Mel's trust. For now all of the members of the Council and the other nobles present she gave them the respect due according to their rank.

But she would not say that any of them were her 'friend'. Friends were difficult to keep in a society where rumors of selling one's mother out for position were rampant. If one would sell their mother they would not think twice about someone who was not their family.

"But I also agree that these negotiations should be about what we are willing to offer in trade and passage in the mists . But we should not reveal too much until the Mandalorians have made their position clear to us." Mel did not want to give away anymore than they had to. She knew that they needed the foreigners to help build their economy.

"We need trade with those outside of the mists to keep our economy growing that is a reality of our situation. Maybe it would be better to set up a transfer point outside of the mists a place that could use be used for us to meet with outsiders, loading and offloading of trade goods without granting them access through the mists or to the Consortium. Those that are allowed to build within the mists should be those we...trust..or given special dispensation to."

Mel looked to her Queen, "Those are my thoughts Ta'a Chume. I also think perhaps titles rather than names should be used during negotiations." Mel's did not want anyone to really investigate her family or her back ground. though as a Minister on the Council it was likely already too late to hide her name. So much for that thought. She frowned slightly.

Allana Badeaux

Ta’a Chume – Queen Mother
Location: On Board the Consortium Flagship (The dawn’s Hammer)
Objective: 1 Diplomatic Talks / 2 the battle at the Throat (Pirates)
Allies: Everyone

Azure orbs that were affixed upon [member="Melanctha Dallamoor"] ‘s form disappeared. A lightly hue of pastel pink eye shadow was now more visible, as Allana had shut her eyes. The Queen’s body posture did not seem aggravated. But emotionally there was something stirring. Mel was the last of Allana’s council to speak, yes.

Allana had opened up. No longer did she have her passion hidden behind a veil. There was no hate. The only pain was a physical anguish brought upon the metaphysical wound, she had been inflicted with. There was no peace as Jedi would call it. Nor could you call it the unchained passion of a Sith. Her passion was love, not hate.

Since the day she took on Hapes Prime Force Wound, Allana’s understanding had expanded. The descendent of Tenel Ka Djo was not formally trained. However the power she contained was undeniable. It now had reached out. Reaching out with her feelings she had extended her understanding outward.
Touching upon the threads of life, death, the light and the dark, she felt the balance of the Force.

Though the Force she felt those around her and throughout the ship. Her senses expanded outward past the ship. In her mind’s eye could see The Dawn’s Hammer. A two thousand meter Imperial-class Star Destroyer Mark Three. Beside it was the ship the clone of [member="Aleister Grey"] commanded. It also was a two thousand meter Imperial-Class Star Destroyer Mark Three. All around them in formation were Hapen Battle Dragons and Hapen Nova-class pulsars.

Allana’s focused reached out extending over the bow of the Dawn’s Hammer and across the void of space. Past some of the empty space and blue clouds that are part of Transitory Mists. It was not that far away she looked. It was the battle raging at the defensive chock point of the Throat.

Allana overseeing this, she could feel the suffering of the brave Hapens fighting. The anger she now felt was second stage to the sadness she felt. The Queen’s hand extended outward as if she was about to touch something, those very finger tips reaching.

As she opened her eyes, she grabbed at thin air then pulled it to her. It was not the White Current nor was it Sith Sorcery. An illusion took form there just feet from her throne. It was a small scale form of the battle at the Throat. It was very similar to a holo display of a CIC tactical display console on board a capitalship.

The images moved around in real time, four Hapen vessels fighting six pirate cruisers.

Allana knowledge was growing fast. What she just did now very well could be unique and innovative. It was frightening to think if she did fall to the darkness or the grandness she could accomplish if she drew in the light. For now she was in the paradox of being in-between.

“Look”, The Ta’Chume spoke. “Look at our brave defending those they love with their own suffering and their death”, the queen was passed tears. They did not fall but she felt sympathy and it was evident.

“Their actions are in the truest sense of what nobility was meant to be. Without concern for their personal safety they risk their lives to defend us. For centuries they have done this. Time after time, situation after situation, their sacrifice is one major reason why we’ve survived. For a long time we shut of our borders. We did not do this out of fear somehow outsiders would change who we are. We did it because of some of the threats outside of the Mists.”

“The death of my Aunt and the bombing on Hapes Prime did change me. It opened my young naive eyes. Not just to the barbarity and curtly of this galaxy. It opened my eyes to the truest sense of what nobility was meant to be.”

“That day when @Krel Ren Force Choked me it triggered what is called an awaking. My connection to the Force was awoken. Due to the connection of my blood line and the presence of a Force Wound around Hapes Prime my awaking was far from pleasant. My very essence had awoken in the astral plane while my body lay unconscious on the ground. The very darkness of the Force Wound attacked me. It did not just try consuming my soul. It attempted to fill my heart with darkness just before my last breath.”

“If it was not for my cousin [member="Erin Tenel"] intervention, I would have been lost. With her showing up I had a choice. I could have come back whole. I could have easily chosen an easier path. I did not though.”

“ I could see what the Force Wound was doing to our people. I chose the path our navy is doing right now. I took on the suffering soother would not have too. Daily I suffer both physical and mental anguish, my soul tattered and torn. I sit before you now unbowed. I still fight for us, as you still fight for us. They still fight for us. As long as we hold onto our believes, no one could take it away.”

“I stand”, Allana rose off her throne and started to walk among her council, “with you. Together we will stand. We will go and talk with the Mandlaorians while still keeping the wisdom of our council. We will be cautious and seek to keep the neutrally, that has kept peace between us and them. We will see if they do seek friendship. If it does not look like they seek what we seek, we can always say no. Whatever happens from there we will do as always we do. We shall stand together!”

Allana still had to respond to the Mand’alor. First she had to get her house in order. It seemed some of her council wished caution. If it was a ruse they would soon find out.

Allana touched what looked like a gem on her bracelet then spoke. “Admiral could you be so kind to clear the passage of the Throat?”

Allana did not wait for Admiral Grey’s response. It was a rhetorical question and he knew that.

Allana walked back over to her throne and sat back down. Touching a console on her throne she opened up the holo comlink to [member="Yasha Mantis"]. “Apologies Mand’alor The Infernal”, the connection was open again if Yasha was inclined to listen at her connivance.

“I’m eager to meet with you and to continue our discussion. The meeting place I had in mind is no longer available. It seems the pirates decided to try to breach the Mists. My Fleet is pushing forward right now to help the defenders at the Throat. Once it is clear we could meet there and discuss an economic treaty.”

As Allana spoke, those with Yasha could most certainly see Allana and her council. They could also see what looked like a holo tactical display showing a small skirmish at the Throat. What would be confusing about the display there was no obvious console it projected from. That was because it was a Force illusion showing a real time display of a skirmish.

This time Allana had left the Holo Comlink open to finish the arrangements.

Allana just made a big move among her council. Not just because she had shown her true feelings. Not just because she just admitted that she was a Force User. She spoke as if they should trust each other and stand with each other like it was a long time ago. Greed and distrust had ended that a long time ago within the Consortium. What Allana was suggesting was change not everyone may agree upon. It may be hard for them to open us and trust like she was. This petty squabbling started with the nobility and it was not shared with every civilian or soldier within the Consortium.

They did have a chance to stand together in unity, a unity that the Hapen Royal navy had. Could the nobility and royalty of the Consortium do the same?

She was listening to the others and bowed her head looking at Tha'ga, but she wasn't going to continue to speak and sound like a skipping record on repeat. The queen mother knew the feeling of them as she spoke about what she had done and Cathbodua was looking at her. In the force to see her bright and shiny but there was also veins, tremors of the force wound she had taken upon herself. A dangerous situation.. something that many could not survive and she would have recommended a full work up both medical and metaphysical with the force. To see how much it had changed her before she was moving to stand with the queen in a united front.

"I see." She said it more to agree before the Queen mother was openign the link with the mandalore again. her thoughts going to some of the things Melanctia said before the reports of the admiral came in. She was different then some, she had been raised in the jedi and only came home to the consortium from time to time. Instead of being fully engrossed in the culture she had been more a returing factor as a jedi and doctor. Bringing a massive medical ship itno the mists had taken a lot of work itself but she had managed to arrive on Hapes Prime to work on helping the people. Movement through the mists would be a big thing for any group to have.

Her eyes in the mask flicked to Tha'ga when she wanted to speak but was more typing out on her wrist datapad as it the display appeared on the lese in her face mask. 'While I agree, it is a dangerous prospect. Any group being able to use the mists to travel would have sudden unmatched access to the worlds and we have a strong economy, dedicated worlds that provide as needed and have always done it. The people have always wanted healthy children, prosperity and it mattered little how the royals and higher ups played their game of thrones.' With a look though she turned her eyes to see Melanctia.

'Though she is a strange one, I am uncertain about the Queen mother. A force wound is dangerous... it can be difficult complications if left unchecked. After this the Queen Mother should be examined and tested to see if any damage has been done to her.' She said it and wasn't calling the queen's mental state but she had seen force wounds on other jedi who jumped to the darkside or did other things... She knew they could be dangerous or in some cases they could be... nothing. Something else that she had seen but she trusted her to know her limits as it were. Stopping her message and sending it off before checking the screen to look at the woman on the other end for the arraignments.

Objective: Pirates

“This is Fleet Admiral Grey of the Hapen Royal Navy”, the clone of Aleister Grey spoke. “You have entered Consortium space and in direct violation of the Consortium zero tolerance for piracy. There is only one sentence. Death!”

"This is Hetzel Holdo, headed to Gallinore to sell password management systems; we came under attack by pirates"

Meanwhile, she knew there were various means to cause a catastrophic kill to a ship using slicing. Cause the reactor to spike, cause premature detonations in guided ordnance, cause a system to go haywire near the hypermatter tanks, but which one to choose depended on the loadout of the ship, and the third one seemed to take more work than the former two. She had to choose and fast: she couldn't do more than one before the Hapans shoot the Delovar down. For the time being, the Delovar turned their fire on the Battle Dragons that came on scene near her position. Time to get to work: missile deactivation transmitters claim to be able to shut down missiles in missiles, or at least to cause premature detonations. Now, I know that an encryption algorithm used in guided ordnance has to be fast, so let's start with stealing the encryption key(s), she thought, while realizing that whether there was one key or two would depend on the algorithm used, and the private key was much more important than the public one if the pirates were using an asymmetric encryption algorithm.

The Throat Engagement:
Space had silenced the noise from the series of explosions along the hull of the first pirate cruiser. The combined focused fire of the five Hapen ships had proved to be fatal. As the lights within the transparasteel view ports began to twinkle out of existence, the pulse mines started to detonate. The waves of attacks had started upon the other five pirate ships. With that small moment of time, the ambush had pushed the favor to the Hapens.

This was their turf. It was a dangerous and unforgiving space and they had mastered the tactics within it. The Hapen Battle Dragon moved slower but it was tough and was arrayed with firepower to compensate. It was only a 500 matter cruiser but it still lived up to its reputation.

The Nova Pulsar was also just a 500 meter cruiser. It was sleek and fast. The weapons affixed along it bow and across its wings. It was perfect for the ambush tactics for within the Transitory Mists. There were not too many ships in the galaxy of its size that could match its speed and agility.
The Petria Breguet Engagement:
A vocal transmission did not come in return to @Petria Breguet. It was hard to tell if there was interference from the ionic storms in the nearby nova stellar clouds. Large blue bots of electricity rippled along the outer body of the blue clouds.

To compound the situation the crackle of the storm sent turbulent waves of kinetic energy across the region. It was the equivalent of a stormy sea. All ships in the area were under the duress of this stellar phenomenon.

Her call was heard, even though it was not the case. Then, two Nova-class Pulsars riding the celestial current came into view. From up high and behind the pirate vessel it almost seemed as if they had appeared out of the cloud formations. It was hard to get a bearing in the Transitory Mists. The Hapen Royal Navy having maps and advanced astronavigation computers designed had some advantage that others did not. The first Pulsar flew in from behind starting a flyby, on the pirate ship. From behind it jettisoned a curious round object. Once it was left behind and the Pulsar speed away and the object started to glow, a bright white color. A massive blue bolt of lightning jumped out of one of the storming clouds. As it hit the glowing round object the bolt was redirected through it.
As the blue blot was redirected the amount of power coursing through the round object had caused it to explode.

The blue blot shot out hitting the pirate ship. The amount of sheer power ripped right through the shields. The radiant began to rip through hull plating and the ionic surge rippled along the entirety of the ship. It was a single devastating blow. It spoke in volumes the Hapen knowledge of their environment. It was also another explanation of how the Hapens dominated this region of space.

The Transitory Mists was not just a massive siege wall. It was a weapon that if used correctly was a formidable strategy.

The second Pulsar riding the cosmic wave flew in. Like a bird of prey it came in. Opening fire with all its forward fire power, turbo lasers and odd proton torpedoes slammed into the back of the enemy ship. The weakened ship was just floating there. They had little defense for the attack that was incoming. The attack hit the engines and ripped through them. Hitting the fuel it, the attack had the desired response from the Royal Hapen Navy. In a volatile end the ship was scuttled, destroyed in one massive explosion!

“Hetzel Holdo this is Captain Tula Durand of the Royal Hapen Navy. Please fall in behind our six and we will guide you to Gallinore”, a female voice, using a ship to ship transmission over Petria’s com-system. What was the likely hood of more pirates this deep into the Mists?

The Slaughter at Maab:
The twist and turns of the passage that led the Delover to the planet of Maab had made it hard for the ship to see up ahead. When it came into view of the planet…To its surprise there were six Hapen ships. There were two Battle Dragons and four Pulsars. To their great un-fortune the ships did not wait for the Delover to run. All six ships started to open fire. The policy for piracy in the Mists did seem brutal. It was a brutal law designed to be a deterrent.
The Clone of Aleister Grey:
Sitting in the command chair of the HMS (Her Majesty’s Ship) the Revenant, Aleister has a series of messages came through. Most he had delegated to other officers as he deemed it more appropriate. The other two was justifiable for him to take care of.

The message from the Queen Mother was straight forward. There was no expectation of having to return a message, for the moment.

The next message, Aleister pressed a single button on his chair console. “Clansman Jake Awaud. This is Fleet Admrial Grey. You may form up on my starboard six. Fair warning though my task force is about to head into a furball”, Aleister released the button and it ended, his part of the transmission with [member="Jake Awaud"] . If he was coming now was the time as the two thousand meter Imperial Star Destroyer began to move.

Around Alietser’s ship was his task force. Flanked on both sides with what appeared to be standard Imperial Star Destroyers. All around those three vessels were large mixture of Battle Dragons and Nova Pulsars.

They moved forward pulling away from the Queen and her similar sized fleet.
The Throat Engagement Part Two:
The battle was still raging. What was already a hard pressed battle for the pirates just had become more serious. Coming into the open void was more ships. The first had come, the Nova Pulsars and Miy’til Terminus starfighters. With their speed they broke off into two groups. In a wide arc they began to move into a pincer formation to hit both sides of the pirate ships.

At this point it had already seemed over kill. A command from the Queen would not be opposed as the rest of Aleister’s task force lurched into view. With a swarm of Battle Dragons, the two Imperial Star Destroyers and his command ship moved forward. If the pirates had held hope before, it would seem even more felting now!

The Pirates!

Everything was going well.

The battle of the throat was raging now, the pirate fleet engaging the largest of the Hapen and Mandalorian battleships. They were giving everything they had, taking pretty much everything that the combined forces had in return. It was a fairly even battle at the start, the two forces trading blows and filling the sky with flashes of blue and red, explosions and fire. From the astroid below it almost looked pretty, like fireworks in the night sky.

The Imperial Star Destroyers changed things.

They weren't expected. Skjeggdromme Harkancinter swore out loud when the report came through. Heavy losses were expected during this, every pirate knew that. They also knew that they won't lose this battle to two Imperial Star Destroyers. Skjeggdromme turned on his heels, shouting orders at different crewmen who began to make calls over any sort of communication system that they had. They would win this battle if it killed them.

"Take their women and slaves. Kill the rest"

The order was relayed to the pirates on the astroid. It was time to finally show the Hapens exactly that the pirates could do, and the Mandalorian Empire wouldn't stand in their way. If they tried, they'd be shot alongside the Hapens. The pirates would plunder and burn, loot and pillage and take what they wanted. It was time to end the battle of the throat, end the battle of the throat once and for all. It was time for the big guns.

Out of hyperspace, three ships popped. All three had Mandalorian markings and Mandalorian transponders. All three had been reported stolen. One Type 3 Keldable class and two Shev'la Kal Classes that had been stolen only weeks ago. They instantly opened fire on anything they could see, anything they could get close to. The pirates refused to lose this battle, they would win the battle of the throat if it killed them.

"Open communications. Let's see if they want to negotate"

Not unlike Kaine, Alkor was best suited far away from the negotiation table. The fighters were already scrambled, and among them, Alkor sat in the cockpit of an interceptor considering what to drink after all was said and done. Rum? Perhaps. Rum usually did the trick.

He watched from his circle pattern as an vessel flagged with an allied IFF narrowly evaded fire from a pirate fighter, and promptly responded in proper Corellian fashion. With a hard banking maneuver, he punched the throttle, broke free of his initial vector and angled straight toward the ensemble of enemies plaguing Awaud.

"Looks like you could use a hand, vod." he commed to the other man as he rapidly tore through the transitory mists and closed the distance. He lacked the heavier payload of a more rounded Starfighter, but he made up for it with intense speed and high manueverability.

The enemy's sensors worked quickly, and two broke away in order to avoid the ire of the interceptor, but the unfortunate pilot committed to mowing down poor Jake felt the full brunt of the proverbial hammer. Alkor unloaded with his front facing lasers and harrassed the shielding of the other ship until it fluctuated beneath the steady stream of green.

The engine stuttered, then stalled just before the fighter took a direct hit from Centaris. It sat dead in space for all of a precious three seconds before the onslaught finally robbed it of the last vestiges of resistance. It burst into a brilliant ball of flame and metal.

Alkor navigated through the concussive blast and pulled up, narrowly evading the harsh reprisal of his victim's friends. They raced past in an obvious display of vexation, rocked by the remains of their former wingman.

"One down," he added matter-of-factly.

The other pirates tilted their ships back toward the Mandalorians, ready to take out their frustrations. Alkor shifted the channel over to Australis, his voice free of the humor from a moment before

"Afternoon, General," he greeted. What time was it, anyway? The Chrono read early morning. Alkor shrugged. "Our friends are flying some familiar ships, looks like. Any idea if we've been selling to anyone without background checks?" He doubted it- most likely, they were dealing with stolen goods.

Standard.

"Off the record, what's our policy on stealing ships back?"

“Hetzel Holdo this is Captain Tula Durand of the Royal Hapen Navy. Please fall in behind our six and we will guide you to Gallinore”

"Roger, roger"

So the Hapans shot down the pirates before I could actually do anything with the pirate computer systems? At least I managed to scam them before they were destroyed, Petria thought, while the explosion of the Delovar was seen in the distance. Hopefully a few legitimate sales of those brand-new password management systems would be worth following Tula's six and, with it, her ship, to Gallinore. She was a little disappointed but if what she heard about Hapan women was correct, she would be in for a big nightmare, even while wearing her teal dress. They might be pretty but how many of them had brains? While they may be just as pretty as Janick, they can't all be as smart as Janick is, or even me: Janick is not simply a pretty face, she is a galactic-level genius, she thought, while she was in transit to Gallinore. That said, she was wondering when would the use of that fake identity end. Probably best to just tout the password storage and encryption in 512 bits, master password with two-factor authentication, and not attempt to do anything with the customers' passwords until her hand was forced, or the Mandos'.

Enemies: Pirates

The order form Admiral Grey was clear, help where needed, stay out of the firing arch as he was an acceptable loss. Jake knew he was a low pilot of a friendly force, so it did not bother him to have a little adrenaline rush before he killed one of these rabble. In all honesty, these were not the beings that would end his life, not this day at lease.

As he flew through the space between the pirates little, 'No Girls Allowed' hide out, and the Hapen navy, he picked up some groupies after he took out some other fighters. These guys were a little tougher then the ones before as they seemed to have a little more skill on their side. The Limited space of the fire from the Hapen Battle Group and other fighters did not allow him enough space to pull any maneuvers he could get around for the kill. He could only dodge until an opening happened so he could get them both.

That was until his sensors no longer showed one of the craft. Looking over his shoulder, he saw one of the Pirate Starfighters was now a cloud of black and wreckage. The other was attacking a Mandalorian Fighter that easily knocked it into a pile of rubble and fire. Jake swung his ship around to pull beside [member="Alkor Centaris"] and opened a radio channel, "Clansman Jake Awaud of Squadron One, Mandalorian Recon Wing, Thanks for the assist sir, mission was to take out enemy bombers attempting to take out the Hapen Battle Dragon, long range radio is damaged, request permission to join you for a slaughter of the enemy?"

Objective 1
Mando: [member="Yasha Mantis"] [member="Cassiopeia Caranthyr"] [member="Tom Taff"] [member="Mykes Vatak"]
Hapan: [member="Allana Badeaux"] [member="Tha'ga Temi"] [member="Melanctha Dallamoor"] [member="Cathbodua"]

Things were proceeding as well as was to be expected. The Hapan people were being as cautious and reclusive as always. The Mandalorians were as straightforward and driven as usual too. Seemed there was an issue with pirates right now, but it wasn't anything the two people couldn't handle together. All in all, it was looking to be a smooth negotiation to Gray. Looked like for the most part he was just going to be here to take care of Adara for his daughter and maybe ask a question about the sensation he could feel so strongly.

Then things changed when the Hapan Queen was addressing them. A visual appeared before the darkness that was Gray's sight. Scenes of the battle with the pirates taking place was playing out almost like a holoprojection, but it wasn't one. It was impossible for Gray to perceive digital formats even using force sight. This was a force illusion of some kind, which meant that his daughter was definitely not seeing it. That mixture of epicanthix and being forcedead saw to that. Seemed he might be more needed than he thought, which upset him a bit. It meant he wasn't going to have as much time with doting on Adara. A slight frown crossed his lips, but it quickly went back to a smile as his granddaughter began to tug on his fingers.

" Honey, it seems either the Queen or someone with her is able to create force illusions. A scene from the battle with the pirates is being shown to everyone here. Well with the obvious exception of you of course." Gray said as Yasha as he leaned over closer to her. He figured she would want to know about that kind of thing. Next he pressed the com system and sent message back to the Hapan representatives that were going to be greeting them. He cleared his throat softly then said:

<" Greetings! Gray Raxis here. If you wouldn't mind sending an actual holoprojection next time that would work out better. My daughter can't exactly see force illusions or the likes so she missed that neat little scene you showed the rest of us. Thank you and I look forward to meeting all of you lovely ladies soon!">

With that the message was sent. Gray went back to playing with his granddaughter as they waited for a response back. Could he have been more formal with them? Definitely. Was he even thinking about keeping formal? Not even a little bit. His entire focus and care was on his granddaughter. Good luck with anyone who tried to get it away from her outside of his own daughter right now.

Self-Imposed Exiled

Objective: Cultural Exchange.
Location: Basement of 'The Queens Canteena', Ta'a Chume'Dan, Hapes.
Post: One.

The loud shouts and screams of drunken men and women alike would be heard echoing from the basement of a nearby drinking hall of sorts. The wooden stairs creaked as many a barmaid walked up and down, serving many drinks to the patrons who were all gathered around a very hastily made wooden arena, and within the middle were two men who wore naught but the pants upon their body. One was a stout of a man, clearly in his thirties and held himself like one who have seen many fights in his lifetime, however the other was a tall and muscular man with a playful smile upon his face and a rather large boar head tattoo over his heart. As a punch brushed past Raiz's cheek, it was far too late for the Mandalorian to take notice of it being a feint, and before he could respond, a second punch was sent into his gut which caused him to choke on the air in his mouth and take several steps backwards. However, in spite of the pain that was sent through his body, the man could not help but laugh it off, which only caused the portly man to become quite irrate at him.

"Oi punk, fight me seriously!" the man shouted at Raiz, clear anger shone through his aged eyes. The way he stood and the way he acted, especially in the ring and with sweat pouring down the man's torso, it showed that he was a veteran of canteena fights around these parts, though the Mandalorian didn't care and was enjoying himself. "Are you going to just laugh while I hit you, or are you going to hit me like a man?" as the man finishes his rant, the other took several prances forward, and sent forth a couple sluggish punches, the older man himself letting out a pompous laugh. "Be serious you bra-" crack. Whilst the man was too busy acting might, Raiz sent a powerful punch to the man's ribcage, and from the sickening crack, which caused several audience members to whince, it was clear the Mandalorian had broken a couple bones. As the man doubled forward in pain, the younger man sent an uppercut towards his head, and a gut wrenching click, echoed throughout the basement. The sound of the man's lower teeth forcing their way upwards and into his upper row of teeth.

"Where's my money?" Raiz asked as he walked towards the exit, eyes looking towards the bookie who was taking bets prior, and as his snake-like gaze flickered towards the fallen man, he handed over a small lock-box towards the Mandalorian before taking a step away as to allow him to exit.

Force Death meant Mand’alor the Infernal was eternally ignorant of all force illusions, and use of the Queen’s powers. In her ear, Yasha heard the Mando’ade engaging with pirates, joining the Hapan Navy to fight side by side.

It was a start, and oddly it seemed, an easier start than the diplomacy they continued to attempt to get off the ground. “Queen [member="Allana Badeaux"], thank you for getting back to me. Yes, my Mando’ade are entangling with the pirates as we speak. Perhaps then, we can have faith in our militaries and negotiate while the battle rages?”

[member="Gray Raxis"] spoke in her ear, cuddling Adara to his chest. It was clear the Buir and now Ba’buir was only half-present, too busy pampering his granddaughter. Yasha’s lip quirked up in the corner, hopefully her daughter would gain some weight. Hopefully soon she would breathe easier.

Please, Manda. Please.

“Thank you, Dad. It’s okay, I’ve got the feeds from Australis.” Gray cuddled Adara more, and Yasha looked back to the feed of the Hapan Queen Mother.

“We wish for economic partnerships and free trade, not to command you. You are a proud and noble culture of feminine power, your way of life should be protected without censure.” Yasha said, to Allana, @Tha’ga Temi [member="Melanctha Dallamoor"] and @Cathdobua. “Hapan Autonomy must be maintained with the integrity you currently have. We wish for passage through the exterior of your territories, to lend battle sisters to defend against piracy and outside threat. That is all I want.”

Objective 1
Hapans:
Mandalorians: [member="Yasha Mantis"] | [member="Gray Raxis"] |
Melanctha listened with a practiced ear listening to how words were spoken could give an inclination as to what was intended. So far she picked up nothing. She looked again to those around her The Queen Mother [member="Allana Badeaux"] , [member="Cathbodua"] and [member="Tha'ga Temi"] .

The Mand'alor was speaking the right words autonomy, battle sisters, and all they wanted was passage through the exterior of the Consortium. It sounded simple enough.

But Mel was a suspicious creature by nature Mel nodded to her Queen, "it sounds too easy."

The words slipped out and it was too late to take them back.

Beth had initially planned to wear one of her most fancy dresses as her buir had promised that they'd be involved in the diplomatic negotiations. However, it quickly turned out that as the General of the Mandalorian Navy that he would be occupied in destroying some of the piracy that was occurring around the Hapans. Beth naturally assumed that the negotiations would be intense, heated, potentially full of backstabbing and propaganda from each side.

When she inquired, she was promptly told that none of that was true and her imagination needed to calm down. That was also when she found out that her and [member="Kaine Australis"] would not be attending the negotiations. They were needed elsewhere, particularly to fight pirates! Piracy tended to be a problem in many places. She even went on a patrol with Rex Taff just a few weeks before due to some pirates inside Mandalorian space. She could feel the excitement in the group as they exited hyperspace into a battle.

All of this led to thoughts about what she wanted to do when she grew up - she only had a few years before she would be drafted into Clan Australis military. What kind of field did she want to go into? Medicine? A fighter? These were things the girl didn't consider until she realized she had such a large future ahead of her.

Beth perked a brow to Kaine. She wasn't expecting that kind of greeting from the General. It would probably help with the negotiations, at least. "Is there anything I can do to help?" She asked eagerly. She had sat on the sidelines for so long that she wanted to do something to help besides just learn.

1. Mandalorians & Hapans, prepare for diplomatic talks at Lorell! Just behind [member="Yasha Mantis"] w/ [member="Mykes Vatak"] and [member="Gray Raxis"]
Meeting - [member="Allana Badeaux"]

Tom would pet the black cat-like creature at his side. He would feed the owl on his shoulder with some berries he had brought with him. The owl happily ate away at them. Tom would use the calming aura of the owl to calm himself. Someone tried entering his mind but he through up walls very quickly. He had practice at this and he didn't trust people at the moment. Using the petting of the black cat-like creature as the way to hold the walls together. Mykes would feel the cut of but it was for a good reason. No one had noticed the creatures with him yet. He hoped it stayed that way.

Objective 1

She couldn't help but wonder where her wonderful [member="Raiz Australis"] was. She knew he had accompanied them to the Hapans but she had lost contact with him... At some point. She really wasn't sure when. She had a lot of her mind which clouded her ability to keep up with the man.

In either case, she carefully watched the Force illusion that was shown by the Queen Mother. It was truly a remarkable ability, one she could only assume that Baiko knew how to do as well. It was good to see the fight in real time - especially through such a unique medium.

She nodded as she listened to [member="Yasha Mantis"] speak their requests to the Hapans. This would be an amazing deal - protected, the might of the each of the nation's economy assisting one another, and access for both parties to various trade groups. Yasha worded it perfectly. In truth, they didn't want to change Hapan culture or their government system. They were a diverse empire in all ways with a known respect for autonomy given to different organizations - such as the Clans.

Cassi presumed, though, that they might not fully trust them. "If we can somehow bring it up, we can discuss how we have the alliance on Dathomir. It is, in its own way, a similar arrangement. It might make them trust us more to live up to our end of the bargain." After all, actions do speak louder than words.

Tha'ga Temi

Minister of External Affairs for Hapes
Post: 4
Objective: Mandalorians & Hapans, prepare for diplomatic talks
Allies: [member="Allana Badeaux"] [member="Cathbodua"] [member="Melanctha Dallamoor"]
Guests: [member="Yasha Mantis"] [member="Gray Raxis"]

“A vast, Hapan-architected trade station would be such a great attraction for the Mists,” Tha’ga agreed at the Duch’a’s suggestion. The Queen turned contemplative all of a sudden, but the redheaded Minister had a feeling it wasn’t about the construction of a new station. If the DNA report from the Fountain of Youth Clinic was indeed authentic, she would be related somehow to both Allana and Er’in. Yet, that claim to the throne would cause so much consternation and upset the balance of what Tha’ga perceived as advancement in the Heritage Council’s goal. It was not the right time to investigate the truth or falsity of it.

As the Queen created an illusion, an audible gasp escaped her ruby lips. It had been rumored that Ta'a Chume had been blessed with the Force, but she had not experienced it first hand. Tha’ga stood riveted by the speech by her beloved Queen. A blush deepened on her cheeks at the mention of Kyrel Ren, but she needed to focus on the subject matter before her and not some schoolgirl crush on a member of the First Order’s Ren.

“It pains me to know you’re suffering, Ta’a Chume. I agree reluctantly with Master Cathbodua, that perhaps you should have a wellness check.” She’d added the “reluctant” part because cautiousness was part of every Hapan’s genetic makeup when it came to nobility and health, especially when assassination was such a swift solution to advancement.

After Mand’alor the Infernal’s impassioned words over Hapan autonomy, the Duch’a expressed skepticism. Tha’ga watched them all with an expression that vacillated between sympathy and concern.
