Last Westgard Standing

Objective: Investigate cult rumors

Over the green plains of Azbrian, the sun was slowly rising in the distance. A new day was starting and with that, it brought a new challenge to this unproblematic planet. This time, through Silas's mailbox. While doing his normal morning routine, he came across the letter and took the time to read it in between sipping some hot caff. The writing looked rushed and scribbled on an old piece of parchment. It didn't say much, other than the address "22 Carolsan Village", A name "Mr Brentioch" and three words "Vermin, please help". The whole thing was short and sweet, almost like he didn't want anyone else to know the true meaning of his words.
At first, Silas thought it had come to the wrong address. However, upon enquiring about it with the mailing service they had been directed to post it through his door. If that was the case, then maybe it was someone's plea for help or a terrible attempt at a prank. Either way, it was his duty to investigate, even if it was so close to home.
As a precaution, he chose to call upon some backup. Aris, who was one of the many children of Valery Noble was a good candidate. He was a promising padawan with all the potential in the world, a strange event like this would only boost his experience further "We're coming up to the front gate now. Just be cautious, we don't know what we're walking into here" he said while looking back to the kid sat behind him, their speeder slowly but surely coming to a stop beside the villages sturdy wooden walls.
Silas switched it off and causally got his seat, lightly stretching in reflection on the short journey they made "If you have any questions then ask them now. For whatever reason, this place is already giving me bad vibes" the knight muttered, his gaze looking in the distance to an individual standing still in a desolate field. The farmer waved slowly and offered them a wide smile that looked forced, as well as wide eyes that hadn't found sleep in days.
Hopefully, it was just the one weird guy every settlement had...
