Going Back

As the Sith Lady gave a sinister and insidious smile to Lok, the boy simply replied back with a happy and content grin. Shouldn't he be afraid of Matsu and give her a frightening look instead of a grin? Perhaps, but what was there to be afraid of this woman? The youngster did respect her and considered as a force to never mess around and reckoned with. After all, he wasn't like the poor soul of Layden that was about to be tortured and played with by Matsu and Lok. The Munin could bet a couple thousands of credits that him and the necromamcer were going to get along very well after this...play date. What would Vilaz say about this? Lok didn't know and didn't care because he was going to have a fun time with getting what he's always been hungering for.

Revenge.

"I'm sure there'll be enough for the two of us," the Mandalorian said to his companion very brightly as she didn't want to take his sweet vengeance on his former boss. He was intrigued with what Matsu had in stock for Layden. He always had this type of feeling that most if not, all necromamcers had unique and different methods on torturing their victims. Indeed, this was another stereotype but it was one always proven right and correct. And here he was going to witness the Sith Lady's first trick as she spoke about Layden's worse nightmare which was about a mugging he saw as a child. The Munin boy rubbed his hands, knowing they were about to psychologically torture the man.

The boy then saw the Sith Lady morphing her face with the one of another one. It belonged to another woman that Lok was unfamiliar with, but it was ruined and hideous as there was a cuts and marks that disfigured the feminine face. So this was the victim that Layden saw was mugged? Well, the teenager would make sure that Layden ended up worse than this ancient victim that Matsu was reenacting. The Mandalorian cackled softly and grinned widely as his former boss screamed and pleaded for Matsu to stop what she was doing. Hearing him scream and plead in fear made him feel like he had won the lottery and it was something he would always treasure.

"Oh, I love her company," the youngster said to Layden, not caring that he was glared or spat at because it would just sour the mood and fun he and Matsu were having. "She's pretty cool if you ask me. And yes! I couldn't sleep with the thought of not paying you a visit, Layden. I missed you and wanted to have some fun before we part ways again." The boy then unsheathed his knife and then continued speaking, "Can you take a guess what's going to happen next? I'm sure it's not that hard to figure out, but I'll give you a hint if your stuck." The obvious thing Layden would do would get up and run away from whatever Lok had waiting for him, but it'd be useless since Matsu would most likely freeze him in his steps so that the fun the Mandalorian and the Sith Lady were having wouldn't come to a temporary hiatus.

It should have been an absurdity - a Sith Lord smiling with pleasure at a compliment from a teenager. But some part of Matsu had never truly grown up despite all that she had done and been through in the last few decades; she was still too wild, too free, and finding communal joy in torture and atrocity with someone whose company she enjoyed was still a welcome connection. Besides, she’d never much seen the point in stifling shared happiness when it came along. She differed greatly from much of her brethren in that respect.

Watching Lok stalk forward with the knife, she wondered if she’d ever run across Vilaz Munin again. It seemed far-fetched and yet the galaxy had proven time and again it was amazingly small. She doubted Lok would ever divulge this sort of violence to his adoptive father, but what if the Mandalorian found out? Matsu imagined that would be an awkward conversation. ‘Yes, your son is pretty skilled in exacting revenge. Stop him? Why would I? No, I encouraged it.’ But for all she knew Vilaz wouldn’t have been disturbed by the boy’s violence, by his revenge. Matsu had only ever seen him, shared a nod that solidified an extremely temporary partnership. She knew nothing about him beyond a name and an idea of a person.

It reminded her of her son. A name and an idea. She hardly knew him.

She blinked away the momentary and surprising distraction, instead focusing on Layden pulling himself away from Lok with panic creasing every line in his face. Unexpectedly, his underlings were attempting to come to his aid, filtering out slowly from the woodwork. Two against one they would think - they could take a woman and a teenager, couldn’t they? Matsu suppressed a sneer. She was quite familiar with the concept of revenge: she’d hunted for years for the man who’d forced her to cut off her own arm and then left her to die bleeding out in the snow. Killing him had closed some hideous chapter of her life, allowed her to evolve. She wouldn’t let idiot creatures steal the same opportunity from Lok.

She couldn’t concentrate on freezing Layden and killing the henchmen at the same time, so instead she gripped the Boss’ mind again and wrestled for control. He fought her desperately but after a moment she felt the click of control, forcing Layden to reach for the nearest weapon that would do the job she was imagining. He picked up a large blaster rifle with an enormous stock - perfect. She forced him to bring it down on his leg over and over and over, working through his screams until his leg was broken beyond repair. There would be no quick getaway where he was concerned.

With Layden semi-immobilized, she gave him his mind so that he might be fully aware of whatever revenge Lok planned to exact. Matsu sprinted towards the walkway above, jumping and springing the claws in her cybernetic hands. She resembled the spider to which people compared her as she scaled the wall, pulling herself over the gangway and setting to work relieving Layden’s men of the burden of the living.

"Even if you kill me now, we won't die out. You think getting revenge against me means this gang is over? No, no. There are others that'll take over. And I swear on my own grave they'll find you and slit your throat!"

Layden was nothing if not persistent.

Just like Lok predicted, his former boss coward away from both him and his wicked, cool Sith companion; thus, putting an unfortunate, short hiatus on the fun that the Mandalorian and the Sith Lady were having. But that hiatus wouldn't last for too long, now would it? "Where are you going, Layden? We were having so much fun! Don't wanna make me sad, now do ya," the teenager called out to the gangster out loud, and with a sinister cackle and giggle. This would probably garner the attention of his minions, but that didn't bother the Munin at all. In fact, he welcomed all his thugs to come out, so that way both him and Matsu could even have more fun and laughs.

One would think that Lok was cruel, dark, and sinister because of what he was doing, but those theories were just lies. No, he only acted like this whenever some smart guy thought it'd be intelligent to step on his toes and Layden had stepped on his toes many, many times. The teenager was very unforgiving to strangers and foreigners that just screwed around with him and would inflict lots of pain and torture to them.

Maybe after this fun playtime, he would ask Matsu for some insight on the best ways on torturing someone.

As Lok stalked Layden very slowly, the gangster's retreat would come to an almost halt as he grabbed a rifle and began smashing it on his leg until it was nothing but broken fragments. "Now that's for being a naughty boy," he said with cackles as his former boss screamed in pain and agony. The Mandalorian's mind was fully focused on Layden and nothing else. He wasn't concerned with his minions or with what plans Matsu had for them. His eyes were on the ball and wanted to hit it out of the park.

"Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah," the boy mocked in response to Layden's persistent threats that were just so boring and pathetic to hear, "stop being so boring, Layden. I hate it when people kill off the mood. Especially when I'm having so much fun!" As he approached Layden he raised his left hand and then unleashed a small amount of acid on Layden's other leg that wasn't injured. More musical notes of scream and agony soothed Lok's ears as well as the pleads of mercy. "Did you like that," the cynic said very childish, "cause I've got more games that you'll like!"
