Going on the Offensive

Alright, so I've been mulling this thought over in my head for sometime and I gotta get it out of my mind. It's time for us to go on the offensive against the One Sith. If they keep gaining moment and keep taking Republic planets and once they've sated their appetite there, we're next or the Fringe. So here is what I suppose, a simultaneous three pronged attack. For this attack we'll have to do something drastic, ally ourselves, briefly with the Fringe, the enemy of our enemy is our friend, and the Fringe and One Sith are anything but friends. So, here's what I'm thinking, us and the Fringe launch a simultaneous attack on two planets, Galantos (Fringe) and Kalist (Us), while the Sith are attacking us, the Republic springs the coup de grace, a attack aimed at regaining Coruscant, this way the One Sith will be completely focused on us and the Fringe and have barely any forces to spare for Coruscant. Thoughts, comments or ideas?

Well they were commissioned to help you set up a story line

But they are travelling monsters inhabiting deep space, taking to underground lairs, stranded ships, or asteroids.

So what I am thinking of, we could do something Space Hulk style, an ancient legendary ship appears once more in the Galaxy, in our territory in fact, so we send in a team to investigate, and it just happens that it's inhabited by a swarm of those things staying dormant.
So they realize that there's prey aboard the ship once more, first they start to attack the team one by one, but at one point all hell breaks loose and they just start swarming, and we have a choice to either burn through all of them and risk it or get the fudge sickles out of there.
And then Cira gives HK a kiss.

Or, something similar,
A large planetoid makes its way into Protectorate territory, initial scans and probes of it reveal that it can contain some valuable metal, phrik or songsteel, or something like that. So, of course, we send in a mining team to hit the motherload, but they go missing, then a rescue team is sent as well, and it is revealed that the planetoid is also infested with the Withered Smoke.
Then they start attacking our team one by one, later Sith hit the fans and they try to swarm us, we make a choice to either keep going or get out of there.
And then Cira gives HK a kiss,

What could make this interesting is if several of those planetoids show up and get dispersed through OP space. Naturally, at first, OP is unaware of the ghouls. But once they find out ...

If there's multiple rocks, it allows for a continuing story line. Perhaps one of them crashes into a low-grade OP planet. Or during the destruction of another the ghosties split and go after local ships on trade and travel routes.

We could also get Moross involved as perhaps the Silken Asteroids is not only home to exogorths and space bats, but these dudes as well. Rocks could have even originated from that area and were blown into OP territory from the Darkside Sun explosion? Just an idea.

I love this idea. I love the idea of using the DarkSun explosion into the mix as well. I also love the idea of finally being able to interact with MC.

This could be a neat way to promote a good storyline development between both factions too!
