Dax looked at the bowl of soup and grabbed his spoon. Despite his hunger he waited for the prince, not wanting to accidently forego any pre-meal traditions.

"I hope you enjoy.", he said as he grabbed his spoon and started eating. As he put the spoon in his mouth, he felt it was hot and burned himself, but trying not to worry the guest, he held it in and before continuing he asked "Tell me Dax, have you ever heard of Sith?".

Dax took in the first spoonful carefully, ans swallowed before responding. "Of course. Every Jedi know who the Sith are." he said dispassionately, "Why do you ask?" Dax took in another spoinful of the soup. Either he was hungry or the food was remarkable. Most likely both.

"Well, you see I have this Holocron and I'd like to know if you can open it?", he said not caring much about the soup and more about the artifact. The curiosity was killing him. He needed to know what was inside said thing.

Dax nearly choked on the spoon that was in his mouth, spitting out the soup in his mouth alongside the spoon itself. "Come again? You have a Sith Holocron?" Dax looked at him in disbelief. He completely forgot about the soup.

The man seemed impressed, maybe not in a good way. "Yes, it was given to me by mechanic. Lyth Meran, I think that's her name.", he then took a sip of the soup that was now colder.

"Do you know who the Sith are? They're reputation?" Dax asked. He was intrigued. Both in the way that it was forbidden knowledge he should destroy or by the very least confiscate. But forbidden things call to one and he felt the call to this one.

"I mean, I did go to a Sith training camp one week learned some lightsaber tricks, nothing much. Why, should I be worried?", he said without being worried about the man's reaction but more than the soup had already gotten very cold, but he kept eating it anyway. [member="Dax Fyre"]

Dax gawked at the Prince. Did he really have no clue? "What do you know of the Force?" he asked.

Dax let out a sigh. "Alright here's how it goes. The Force is used by both the Jedi and the Sith, among others. While the Jedi direct theirs powers in an effort to defend and protect, the Sith look to gain personal power, often leaving chaos and destruction in their wake. They are ruthless and merciless.". He spoke slowly, making sure to remain as unbiased as he could as he spoke, "They've been at odds for millenias"

"Oh, I'm guessing you cannot open the Artifact.", he said thinking he would have to find someone else and that he should've had more attention in History classes. The prince could always talk to Darth Banshee about the Holocron if he was in desperate desire.

Dax shook his head, "No. Anyone who can use the Force can open the Holocron. It might be...dangerous. But I can."

Dax set his elbows on the table and laced his fingers together, leaning into the table. His face distorted as he thought. What would happen should he choose to oblige the Prince. Why did he want it opened? "Why do you want it opened?" Dax ask, his Force Presence opening, so that he might detect a lie.

In all honesty, he had no idea, he just needed to see whats inside. "It has been sitting in my room for weeks, and the suspense of not knowing what's inside is killing me and I'm getting more distracted thinking of it during meeting to talk about the future of my kingdom.".

Dax nodded. "Alright. I'll do it under one condition. Whatever knowledge is in there. You don't speak to anyone of it, nor do you use it to harm anyone or anything. Only to defend yourself or your world. Do we have a deal?" He offered his hand to the Prince.

Enduri smiled, his question would finaly be answered, he shook the man's hand and said "Deal.", he then got up and started going to his room to get the Holocron.

Dax got up and followed the man. "It'd be best to do this somewhere we won't be disturbed."

As they entered the room, Enduri locked it and responded "Disturbance won't be a problem.". The prince ran to his drawer and took out a small pyramid, with a black colour and red and orange glowing cracks. Giving it to the Jedi he said "Let's see what's inside.".
