Naida nodded thoughtfully. "Is Mandalorian a race, or a faction? The force?" he added the last statement with slight confusion in his voice. Then it struck him, "Ah, Khansa, the fluid kinetic force deemed upon us my Khatsan. I am indeed one of that order. How may I ask, do you know of Khansa?" Curious how this stranger from faraway lands knew of one of the most binding gifts of Khatsan the Divine.

"Both", Hype replied shortly. "Because we have a bunch of lunatics like you running around." Hype glanced around him. "Look, its my turn to start drilling. How did my ship get here, and I'm also sure you know why my ship wasn't destroyed back there. Who are you people, and what's going on." It was time to get some answers strait.

Curious. The Prophets had never said anything of others who were loyal to Khatsan. He smiled slowly at Hype Darkwater's rapid questioning. "Come my wanderer. Let us make for the hills while we speak. And all will become clear." His smile flickering away, he gestured for this Mandalorian to follow him. He turned, and became making his way towards the mountains. He was making for the temple of his fathers. Built when they were first exiled here. There was already so much history on this planet. But compared to the entie history of his people, it was just a grain of sand in the winds of time. "The story begins some 50,000 years ago, deep in the galaxies heart."

Hype scolded himself for showing too much interest. Never show a weakness. He decided to follow the stranger. He could handle him if it came to trouble. He hoped. The climb grew steeper as they went. They were heading for the mountain that loomed over the village. It seemed to be the highest spot on the entire planet.

Naida smelled the fresh air, and a strange anticipation. He could taste it, smell it, hear it, but he couldn't see it. He had a feeling it wasn't the Mandalorian, something else, near and ominous. Ahead now he could see the opening to the temple. Three huge stone blocks nearly a kilometer in length, framed the doorway, a series of steps led into the rock up to the actual doorway, only about 30 meters in height. Naida made for it, occasionally making sure the stubborn Mandalorian was still following by sensing him through Khansa. The Force, which was the name the Mandalorian had called the mystic power devised by Khatsu the creator. How did an outsider know of this? And he looked nothing like the ancient race of legend.

Hype followed the strange personage, but stopped at the sight of temple. It was enormous. It was framed with three stone blocks, the size of cruisers. The actual door seemed insignificant compared to the rest of the structure, but it seemed huge as well. "How could you build this", he asked. He carefully kept his voice blank, so as to not seem overly awed. This was a powerful race indeed. The stone blocks were set there, not created out of the mountain side. The entire structure that was the doorway into the mountain, must have taken some 50 years.

Naida never ceased stride, even when the Mandalorian stopped. But he paused at the Mandalorian's question. "It was built 200 years ago in a week. The Tathlak built it before they left us." One part of Naida didn't blame them, and the Shavar'ria were indeed stubborn. The other half of them blamed the Tathlak for their plight, for leaving them. But Naida wouldn't hold a grudge. He would either deal with it quickly, or it would exhaust itself over time. He resumed walking.

Hype couldn't believe his ears, but he restrained his tongue. That was impossible. Unless they were indeed powerful in the Force. Even then, they would have to be very powerful indeed. He had to get out of here. If these were indeed as powerful as they seemed, they must never get into the known galaxy. The first opportunity he got, he was going to scram.

Naida sensed a disturbance, a change in the Mandalorian's mood. What was it. Naida delved deeper. There was pain, incredible pain. Naida was startled the Mandalorian was still standing and talking. Fear, there was fear as well, fear of the unknown. Good, no mortal being should be without fear. Naida himself feared the unknown. The Mandalorian also feared the Nuundarii, and he wished to escape, and abandon them here. Naida's eyes flashed, his fist clenched. He didn't blame the Mandalorian, but he also could not let that happen. Perhaps if only two were able to get off... Naida contacted Sasha, his wife, as he approached the temple. Sasha, get to the Mandalorian's ship, and hide on it somewhere. It may be some time, so merge into stagnancy, I will be with you at some point. We can't the newcomer leave with his ship, but we still need him alive, because I do not know how to fly such a vessel.

There seemed to be a change in Naida's stride. It grew more determined, and Naida seemed to be concentrating elsewhere. Hype considered this change. Did he get wind of his plan. Impossible, yet he was a Force wielder as far as Hype knew, it was possible, but then didn't that only work on the weak minded?

The Mandalorian was sharp. Naida knew that he sensed something was wrong. He must watch his actions more carefully. Why not just kill him now. Naida didn't want to kill him unless it was absolutely necessary. That was key, necessity. Never kill needlessly, and the ends never justify the means, That was a part of the core of the Code, if that was broken, all was broken. Naida resumed his original stride. The time would come.

Hype decided it was time he made his move. Naida continued along normally. Force wielder or not, Hype hatched a plan so quickly, by the time Naida knew it, it would be too late. Or so he hoped. Just one second more....
His HUD went online, already performing multiple tasks. A cable blasted out of Hype's wrist unit, entangling itself around the force wielder. He fired his second cable, pinning Naida to the ground. Simultaneously, his jetpack activated, hurtling Hype dozens of meters backwards. He straightened himself, then sped for his ship. Hopefully whatever had pulled him, would also allow things out.

Naida freed himself from the restraining line instantly. Foolish Mandalorian for resisting a master of the Khansa. But the Madalorian was quick, that was undeniable. But Naida sensed he had great pain with every movement. Sasha, he's making for the ship, I'm coming as well. She was fortunatley, already on board. The Khansa enhanced Naida's speed, racing at a medium but steady speed of 85 kilometers and hour over rocky terrain. He skipped the paths, and went straight for the village. He could see the jets of the Mandalorian's jetpack. He was almost too his ship.

A jetpack was wonderful for transportation. Hype quickly covered the ground between him and his ship, avoiding the rough terrain, and any opposition to his escape. His ship still seemed untouched. Hype righted himself to land. He made a slow descent, but his joints still protested as he landed stiffly. Enduring the pain, he jogged to his ship, and opened the hatch. Not looking behind him, he slammed the "Close" button, and ran to the cockpit. He might make it yet.

Naida reached the outer edges of the landing area just as Hype set down. Never underestimate the speed of a Nuundarii. He watched the Mandalorian move stiffly. There was definitley pain there. He waited, emersed himself in Khansa. Time slowed. The ramp came down, the Mandalorian strode aboard, the ramp started to go up. Like a dragon waiting for its prey, Naida sprang to life. At over 200 kilometers an hour, it was a slight strain on his Khansa weilding, and definitley a physical shock, but he did it. He slipped noislessly aboard the ship just before the ramp shut with a clang. Barely breathing, he watched the Mandalorian walk to the cockpit. He reached out and found Sasha, fit neatly under a floor panel. Naida climbed into an adjoined area. He greeted Sasha telekeneticly.
