Grain By Grain Of Sand, It Builds

Vallory had woken up in the morning and covered herself with a cloak to protect her from the sun. Spira, this was the last place she expected to be living. But, her now fiance had bought this small beach for them. To build a home upon, on this secluded island of theirs in the middle of the ocean. A shuttle was due to arrive later in the day with workers to help, and she hoped to get them to build a landing pad first. That would help them a lot.

Vallory sighed in the open air. Taking the view in. Already they had a door set up, so that was a good start. Looking around she spotted some cargo had been dropped off. The start to their new life here was there. The beginning of this building they had planned in the cave. Away from all the war and conflict.

Nyx awoke and put on her armor pulling her hood up to shade her from the sun she walked out to find her love when she did she wrapped her arms around her

Vallory turned her head slightly as she felt someone's hold around her. Normally, that would have earned an elbow to the face and a bleeding lip or nose. Now, she knew who it was and could only sigh comfortably. "Good morning to you too...look what's over there" she nodded her head to the stacked up resources they had now. It was enough for at least a room. But what room, she was not sure. And furniture had yet to come.

Nyx smiled as she looked at the supplies "Where should we start?"

[Vallory]

"Well...I say a room. Any room...a dining room? I can order in some furniture for that. It's a start, right? Or, an entry hall. A place to cool down in the heat." She suggested to [member="Nyx Tempest"], tilting her head slightly after the suggestion. Either seemed like a good choice right now. And both would seem like a great start. A place to cool while working or a place to sit down and eat.

"I think the entry hall then dining room" she said gently smiling

[Vallory]

"Only got enough for one room...so we'll do entry hall first then." Vallory let go of Nyx as she went over to the cargo. It was on a hover trawler and when she activated, it began to lift off the ground. She began to pull it along by the handle, struggling a little till she got in front of the cave. "All right, here we go." And with that she began opening crates filled with what they needed to construct. Tools, resources and such.

Nyx went ahead and ordered more supplies to continue the build "This is gonna be beautiful"

Vallory started with lifting up a crate from the trawler to place in front of the door. "Nyx, can you get the door?" she asked to her, ready to pull it through. Then she would continue with the other crates. "You have a plan for the house, right? Where things will go, room shape and all of that?" she added to the question as she pulled the first create along. Vallory had not even thought of a plan to put in place, not till now at least.

Nyx ran to grab the door and as she did she spoke "Yes I do, I will show you a blue print in a bit, Im thinking an open air bungalow type of house would work, for we are protected by the natural cave and there is the beautiful lake"

"A bungalow? Well that seems nice. Some free space in the cave too." She made her way through with the crate, and opened. "Tools...no building materials in this one" she muttered to herself as she moved out to get the next one. This one was heavier and as she opened it, and peered inside, "Here we go. Stuff for some walls. Can you get sta-" A beep sounded and she quickly left out the door to answer the call.

The conversation went on for a bit and she came back inside with a third crate, a grin on her face. "The helpful workers coming will be here within the hour."

"Let me show you the blue prints" She said pulling out the blue prints they showed an open air cabin, not too big, only having 2 walls, those made of mostly glass for the walls giving them a perfect view but the interior walls were built of dark wood and the floors heated hard wood

Vallory looked over Nyx's shoulder to the blueprints. A cabin was what she had in mind? It came to Vallory she had been thinking all wrong, thinking too big, something that would fill the whole cave. And mentally hit herself for the thought. Something small would do just nicely. "It...well it looks great firstly. And well thought out...how long were you planning this?" she asked with a slight smirk to her.

"I have always wanted to build a small house on a beach dear" she said turning to face her

[Vallory]

"Really? A childhood dream of yours?" At that, she thought of her own. To be like her hero...but that dream had passed. It passed some time ago and she had new dreams. New purposes. A new life. Vallory pecked Nyx's cheek. "You have thought ahead, haven't you?" She took the first crate over to a spot where they could fetch tools easily then got out some framing from the third crate to begin framing out the first part to their cabin.

"yes I have love, I love you so much thank you for taking on this project with me" She said getting to work on the flat area beside the lake "I also want to put a balcony where I can jump into the lake"

"I love you too" she answered back with an almost sing-song voice as she got to work. Putting up the frame first of the cabin. "Should the frame be like a floor above the ground? Could be like a storage area under" she said, as she was putting it up. Before glancing over at the flat area being built. Raising a brow towards it. "A balcony? Like a diving board?"

"yes that would work, and also I like it but I mean it could also be used to just relax on" SHe said her normal sing songy voice

Vallory nodded along with that. It would be a nice place to rest on. Lounge chairs, a couple of lamps. Maybe some lights down along the drop. That they would need the help for. Personalize the place a bit more with that. Than an idea struck her. "Add another flat area. Call in some materials for one, a much larger one...and some obstacle stuff." She had a great dear in mind as she was adding to the frame.

The frame was proving quite tough as it was. And the transport was headed to come in early, with their help. Vallory had hired some builders and workers to help them out with some more credits she 'borrowed'.

Nyx would crack a smile and think Darn that is my woman right there She thought for a moment and said "baby c'mere" She then walked over to her and wrapped her arms around her, and kissed her lips not moving
