Guess what the United States Department of Agriculture just bought

See, under normal circumstances that would be fine, (Though I won't get into why you probably don't want a Submachine gun while patrolling in a forest, that's another issue) but of late they've been consistently arming what are supposed to be straight up civilian organizations with unnecessary amounts of military equipment. They have other police forces dedicated to it.

The continual downsizing of the military is also troubling combined with this constant arming of the civilians. It stinks. The fact that the United States Army also just pulled a huge number of Apaches from NG units screams prepping, and that their training mission is switching back from fighting insurgents to fighting an organized uniformed military.

It just feels like something's about to pop off, but I have no idea as to what.

All modern governments have debt. The last time the United States had 0 debt was in the 1850s, when isolationist sectionalism reigned.
The problem is the level of debt once it passes 100% of GDP and is not countered quickly. After all, the US had higher levels of debt relatively speaking in WWII, but it managed to pay that off.

Type IIIA protects against .44 Magnum and .357 SIG, not 7.62x51mm NATO.
I am failing to see why you are telling me this, as I have clearly already mentioned that and the fact that you'd need hard plate armor underneath, which is a simple compatible upgrade....

I have the illest "no poodoo" face right now. :p
