She internally snickered a little... Kurenai certainly did like the whole face to face thing which was helpful to her as worth it everytime. "Hmmm don't I know it." She smiled and got to relax a little finding a good place and cleaning was easy enough while adjusting the hardlight to conceal and cover them for the night. The warmth radiating off of the sides beneficial as well as it would easily keep them warm in the cold mountains but wouldn't be like a furnace making them sweat all night. Wu had the area ready though and blankets prepared. "I know it isn't sleeping bags and dirt mounds but I think it will do, plenty of space to move around the the blind does protect from predators should any happen to come along."

"Just because I am used to the more rough side of camping doesn't mean I am opposed to using more comfortable stuff, considering my time in the field I am owed quite a few nice long sleep in a soft bed". Perhaps once they get back from the trip she could spend a month of too sleeping in for once instead of keeping her usual routine. "As for predators, to be honest I might be the most dangerous thing around here at the moment and I do bite". Her tone joking but at the same time serious, Kurenai doubting anything nearby could give the two force users much trouble as she moved to test the bed herself.

She nodded to that... there was more than enough and the bed was set up for them with plenty of comfort but it was practical as she laid there and made space. The two of them here for a few hours... worth it and likely she was the most dangerous on the planet or in the area at least. They would be able to clean up in the morning and continue.. the search. "Good, sleep now." She said it and directed the area near her with the covers open. Sleep being something that she was happy for as she would be able to get several hours and wake up in the morning with a stretch and pop of her bones.

Kurenai gave a final nod before letting the wash of darkness and a slowly settling dinner take hold. The outside country sounds are somewhat of a natural lullaby to soothe her to sleep. Come morning she was awake bright and early, outside watching the sun rise while going some basic stretches for her daily routine, looking behind to hear the yawning and poping of bones as Wu woke. "Morning, I trust you slept well"? Kurenai replied, bending down to do some squats as she waited for a reply from the master Jedi.

SHe rolled and looked with a nod while she still had her eyes semi closed and almost open. Hair in her face. "Yes." She saw Kurenai getting up and she rolled up and over so she was able to rise up from a kneeling position to stretch more and more but then followed suit. A little morning movement got the blood pumping and warmed you up if you were needign it and she did... she moved up and down a few times and started walking around as she began to clean up parts of it. There was some food for the morning and she started it while checking her robes and clothing before straightening her hair to a ponytail. "Food will be ready soon and then clean up should be easy before we move to continue."

Kurenai rose with less of a robe and more of a crop top and spats as she continued with her exercises while Wu rose. "No rush, this is supposed t be a vacation of sorts right? I belive we can take some time". She commented back, finishing her stretches and moving to push up to get her arms warmed up in the crisp mountain air. "As for clean up I think a small application of the force should take care of that easily enough". It's use was not just relegated to war and in these more peaceful times, any chance to practice it even on mundane tasks was welcome.

She nodded, they were not in a rush... this was a vacation of sorts and as such they should and would be able to relax and enjoy themselves. THe smile on her face was wide and bright. Kurenai was not wrong and the force outside of war could be used for a lot of things... you just had to be careful not to abuse it. She was finishing the morning food of eggs, potatoes, cheese melted over it and sausages... SHe had the food for the pair of them and with most of the clean up needed around the area she deactivated the blind allowing the morning air to come through and it was cooling around the water. The mist rising up from the air changes and all around them. Sunlight in the skywhile she made the plate for the larger energy vampire. "We have nothing but time for now."

Time, yea she had plenty of that, perhaps a bit to much, her long life coming with boons but also problems, still, the force and those able to live on past it would mean perhaps her loved ones wouldn't be out of her life forever. But again, this was a vacation a time to six back and relax, her head moving towards the now freshly cooked eggs as Kurenai finished her warmup. "Well why don't we take time to eat this good meal you've made, smells quite good". The older vampire women kneeling down in the traditional style of their homeworld, picking up a plate and scoopoing the food onto it, clapping her hands together before digging in.

"Yes lets." She said it with a smile sitting to mirror as the majority of camp was broken down and prepared to move. The advances that they had were impressive and they could stow a lot mor ein their packs then many others could in ships. Wu taking some bites of the food and the heat letting her breath come out in a steam for a moment with the coolness of the air around them. She shifted and looked around only a little but got a drink for herself. "I do not remember if I told you but Akari has been progressing very well... she picks up things a lot quicker then one might expect." The smile was one of a proud master as her students... the siblings of Sukai and Akari were different but in a good way.

The talk of her youngest child able to walk that is was an interesting turn in the conversation Kurenai looked up to the Jedi master. "Hmmm well she is the first to get proper training, Sukai and tana were... a bit unorthodox, from what I remember Sukai kind of just showed up to one of your operations and slowly was absorbed into the Jedi, meanwhile I dragged Tana here to get trained but all were almost adults. Akari being a child is easier to teach and when older will be quite a strong force user". It also helped that she was a very excitable type always willing to learn more since it was 'exciting' to put it bluntly. "I am glad you are having fun train her".

"Yes they have become part of it more and more but there is nothing wrong with that... if it wasn't so dangerous among the darksiders for children I am sure you would have taken them there maybe... never know. Instead I get to have this new life since Tiantang is mostly cutting itself off from the galaxy.... maybe one day." She said it with a little hope but was prepared to one day return there if they ever got the chance... while exploring or when one fo the governments moved itself further out of there... hell the Commonwealth worked to expand slowly and make colonies they could get lucky if they were checking on more of it. Wu finished cleaning up and repacked her stuff as the survival pack slipped back together and was back on her back. The last compartment going in with a hiss from the seal to recharge the disruption technologies. "Are we ready for the new days walk?"

"I wouldn't have wanted them to do down the dark side as I had, it wasn't really a choice for him, considering my younger years, the wars with the empire and the Yzan vong invasion didn't give me much time to be Jedi-like. Half the reason I dragged Tana to the silver Jedi was to make sure he didn't become like me". And that was only the start of things, seemed wherever she went war and darkness followed, the last few years had been the most peaceful and she was actually quite glad to be in 'retirement'. "But enough talking, yes let's head out, best to keep up our actual reason for being here, thing some nice more fresh air would do nicely". Kurenai stood up to begin the next leg of the trip. She nodded and could agree to that.. they didn't need to lose sight of their main objective when there was still so much for the pair of them to do here... Wu making sure her pack was secured and checking the map for the length of the journey. THen she was pointing and going along the river while she checked over what was there and repulsor tracks were still in the ground going up. The beauty of the area not lost on her and walking along the river gave way as it wrapped inwards on the trail to several farms that were old and covered over. There was some signs of ships coming by here but this looked to be where most of the advanced scouts turned back. Wu could see the mountains in the distance though as the farmland went away into a carved valley with a massive aqueduct that had been carved from the mountain and channeled the massive river. Arches along it were there and Wu whistled. "That is impressive."

The slow vanish of civilization being replaced with valleys and nature was a nice sight. Too many planets theses days were either coming the way of Coruscant, the opposite being mostly uncharted wastelands or a mixture of the two with one-second being in a well-built-up city and the next in a toxic swamp. "It certainly is a nice sight, we making for the summit? Get a good view over the planet from up there". She asked looking over the valley before stepping forwards to keep the trek going.

She looked at it and there wasn't a lot there to go by but. "Based on the information we have the fortress is supposed to be by the river and it looks like they channeled it." She said it and was looking at it there... the channel for the water went from one mountain to another and they had managed to divert it or some of it. THe deep valley was something to look at. "We should be able to get in there and check it... wherever that water is coming from is most likely close by. A fortress would need the resources." She nodded while looking for the pathway that would take them down and she started walking. "Though I don't know what will be in the valley... it just doesn't look like the river would be good to swim as it doesn't seem to have much space to rest."

“You think it’s spring water or from higher up snow runoff”? Kurenai asked looking over the flowing water. Seems much too deep and fast to be from simple rainfall and snow. “Have any ideas of what we might find inside”? Honestly could be anything considering what the planet and through in a regular decade.

"No Idea." She said it but was looking at it while walking down. "The water though likely from snow... the northern lands from space and maps seem to be almost permanently frozen over at the seas but than there is a massive hole housing a city with the mountain range surrounding it filled with tens of trillions of glittering gemstones." She said it with a smile and that was something she did eventually want to see... the golden mountains filled with gemstones and other shiny things around an ocean that is duel layered with pumps circulating it from below to the surface.. IT all sounded so beautiful while she was walking further down. "We'll have to see though... finding out is the best part."

“Gemstones? Sounds like quite the interesting view. We headed in that direction”? She asked, eyeing up the path some more. “Maybe there is a spring of sorts. My old bones could use a soak”. Clearly a joke considering she was still young for a vampire but that didn’t mean she could pull on her age. “Well the sooner we trek up the better”.

"I mean if we walk far enough... yeah we could go that far... though I hope it isn't that far... walking would not be as enjoyable I think in all of the snow and subzero weather." She said it but stood there next to her while heading down more and offered her hand. "They might be old but still pretty in the package.... plus we'll find you a hot spring to soak." She offered the smile as the pathway down went into the valley with a smile appearing on her face more and more. She was looking to enjoy parts of it and this trip was the journey and she breathed in the scent of the lower valley looking at the mountains in the distance. It wasn't so bad and so far the sounds of nature remained around them. "At least the animals are here... usually means there are no predators for the moment and this valley might be warm enough it doesn't get snow if there is rain."

"Hmm, sorry forgot others are not used to my sense of 'fun', still hot springs will certainly be nice after a long walk". She returned as the pair wandered along the road upwards. Once again nature is at the forefront, and unlike other plants not trying to kill her. "Even if there was a preditor I doubt they would be much of a threat to us, even without my heavy weapons I doubt a wild animal would stand much of a chance against our combined force powers". She wouldn't have been surprised if that was the reason no predators were around, they could sense them and knew the two women were strong.
