Development Thread: Salvaging Gheleon's Bo-Rifle for Beskar. (( I could never find a use for the Bo-Rifle so I am finally scrapping it.))

Strengths:

• ​Beskar: Being made of beskar makes the axe very durable against all sorts of damage and gives Halfdan the ability to fight toe to toe with lightsaber wielding folks.
• Vibro-tech: Extreme cutting power paired with beskar makes this a dangerous weapon to be hit with.
• Plas-bonded Ostrine: Freezes on touch. Very dangerous on bare skin, while makes armor more vulnerable to damage. ((Of course, effect depend on opposing writer ))

Weaknesses:

• Range: The axe is rather short, it requires absolute melee range to be useful.
• Not a solo weapon: The one-handed axe is not a weapon to be wielded alone, it requires a defensive weapon such as shield to be completely useful. Unlike swords, axes do not have rather long blades to parry.

Description:

Once upon a time on Midvinter, a Mandalorian smith had come to see the secrets of Valkyri forging. The great hospitality that the Valkyri provided to him and the friendly atmosphere that reminded the Mandalorian of home. Eventually, he accumulated love for the place and the people. Hence, his gift was to forge numerous beskar weapons for those that would prove themselves best in a hand-to-hand fight.

Halfdan's imposing strength and savagery prevailed.

This axe was forged for him.

Made of the nearly indestructible Mandalorian iron, it is paired with ultrasonic vibration generator and plas-bonded ostrine edge to make it a dangerous and versatile weapon in the hands of a capable warrior. Dampeners were inserted on the haft to keep the vibration from reaching the wielder's hand. It has the shape and rune drawings of that of a typical Valkyri axe.
