Halp pl0x

I can still see the core of what Chaos used to be, but I have no clue as to what's going on anymore. Then there are also all those new sub-forums that I've got no idea about and I'm not even sure I'm posting this in the right sub-forum anymore.
But basically, I've not done any RP since about 2 years ago and I'm kind of just a tiny bit out of the loop (/sarcasm). I would be pretty grateful if I could get some pointers as to what there is to do nowadays, I'm probably gonna be looking for more Sith-oriented stuff, since I have a Sith Lord dude now apparently. I'm not really keen on lots of PvP focused Faction-related stuff, e.g. Invasions, Skrimishes, etc. Just kinda lookin' for some casual posting (filthy casual, I know).

Uh, yeah, thanks in advance.

Hey. :)

Here's the guide: [x] You may know most of that already, but it might help.

Forums:

Introductions
- Welcome, New Members - This is where you (re)introduce yourself/ask questions like this. ;)
- Character Creation - What it says on the tin. The Factions sub-forum of this contains all the faction advertisements.
- Staff Anouncments - Does what it says.

Roleplay
- Omega/Omega OOC - These are special categories for the board event starting tomorrow.
- Open RP - Normal RP threads. Feel free to jump in any of these.
- Private RP - RP threads for just a certain group. Don't jump into these.
- Role-play Discussion - Discussions about any RP thread.
- LFG - If you want to find people to do a RP thread with you. Subforms are for different group sizes.
- Writer's Workshop - Help to become a better writer.

Factions (This will only appear if you've joined a faction)
- [Faction Name] - The forum for your faction.

Discussion
- The Water Cooler - OOC discussion about things. Subforums are about different topics. The LOA is if you are leaving the board for a while (or returning). The Posting Games section is just some games.
- Star Wars - Discussion about SW
- Gaming Forum - Discussion about gaming.
- Art + Design - Make Art-y things!

The Codex (The place for the cool kids)
- This is where you can make submissions concerning lore-y things. Was the Factory & Codex there back when you where around?

The Factory (the place for the less cool kids)
- The is for tech subs, or ships/vehicles. You can also make companies here. The Marketplace section is where you can buy and sell goods, or post bounties.

Ohboy, that helped a lot. Thanks man! I think I'll be able to get back into the rhythm of Chaos.

How strictly are the "fanatically loyal" and "Bow to the Knights of Ren" parts enforced?

[member="Alendarius"]
The Knights of Ren are indeed deeply loyal to the Supreme Leader. They do not work for themselves, for their own power or glory etc., but for him. They are distinct from the more selfish aspects of the Sith in that they serve a greater goal, that which is the Supreme Leader's will, and the order and discipline he will provide to the galaxy.

On the other hand, we are also in the process of welcoming Sith to join the First Order and not be a part of the Knights of Ren, if you don't want to be, and instead work directly for the First Order as a Sith. Though I believe the admins may still be ironing out the details and you'd have to message [member="Natasi Fortan"] or [member="Ludolf Vaas"] to find out more.

[member="Alendarius"], you are welcome as a Sith at the First Order, so long as your character pledges allegiance to the Supreme LEader. However, we have our own unique group of Force Users, the Knights of Ren, who are very similar to the Sith but display more fanatic loyalty to the ideals of the Empire and are less about individualism.

Welcome back!
