Description:
Designed on the principle that bigger is better, the HAT-100 "Heavy Assault Turbolaser" consolidates massive amounts of firepower into one centralized mount. Based on the w-165 planetary turbolaser, the HAT-100 uses the same design principles making the weapon a very powerful and large weapon. The HAT-100 includes very heavy construction and armor to protect the internal systems of the weapon from enemy attack.

The four cannons making up the battery fire simultaneously outputting a massive amount of energy. Utilizing six Energized Tabanna Gas Streams the Particles Passed through the twelve galven coils, three per muzzle, are compressed and energized to eight times the power of a normal heavy turbolaser making the weapon thirty two times as powerful as a normal heavy turbolaser. The battery is equal to 32 Heavy Turbolasers

Strengths:

* Heavy Armor - Each battery has triple braced framework and triple reinforced armor over the front, sides , and top of the battery.
Weaknesses:
* Very Slow Rate of Fire - The power needed to fire these weapons is so great the massive capacitors take time to build enough charge to fire a second volley
* Slow Tracking - these weapons are so large and heavy they can not fire on vessels smaller than frigates.

A long range turbolaser "costs" (draws the same power) as around 5 regular turbolasers. If you're going to keep the long range, they'll need to cost a lot more than 64 capital guns. Probably around 160 for a battery of 4.

It was late and I was on meds. seriously lol but its fixed now each muzzle is like 3 Heavy LOng Range Tlas and the bat is X 4
