She gave her a look while she was looking at some of it. "Yes, my family is older then most.. we have been invovled for centuries, eons with the republic, the empire, other groups. We span the stars and there are a number that live on other worlds across the galaxy. My sisters and daughters have spread out among the stars forming families where we are." She said it and looked at Kurenai with a nod of her head. "I have been rather enjoying this my apprentice, your skills have begun to develop, your talents with weapons is something I haven't seen before... so come back here to be with me and we shall work on some fo the other aspects here on atrisia... there is some things in Jar'kai we should do."

Eons, empire and republic, probably spanning well to the old times of the time of the Mandaloiran crusades, but that did raise a question out of her, mostly at what Sawa said, abut her family spreading all throughout the galaxy. "I do look forward to out next meeting but it seems that there are issues both of us must attend to else where, but before I leave I have a... lets say query, is it possible that we are related distantly"? To some it may have been a long shot, but in Kurenai's case things where different, "I say this because I never knew my parent, nor have found any indication of my heritage". "Though I assumed all vampires can be traced back to one source way in the past I wonder if there is a possibility of my heritage being linked to your's in anyway, do you perhaps know of any family members that resided on Bellsaas some time before the clone wars"? It was a long shot, and if wrong no harm done, she had plenty of time to look into family history.

Sawa looked at her and her apprentice well there was no reason to rush her training as she listened to her. A small smirk appearing on her face as she stalked around the woman turning her around appraisingly as one might a prized piece of exhibition.... "Hmm." She waited a moment and held her hand up, closing her fingers and only looking at the two of them. "Be in me." She said it and brought her head towards the krook of her neck and shoulder. Inhaling the scent now looking for something as she tasted and took a small bite. Her voice coming. 'Focus on me and recall your earliest memory.' She said it though while tasting Kurenai and her pupils became wider for a moment until she puled away licking a little blood from her mouth. "Hmmm hello sweetie." Sawa said it and looked at Kurenai while watching her. "A familiar taste family..... my grandchild." She said it but let a smile come to her face that was wider. "She went to Bellsaas to defy me long ago and when she returned well she sought to use her new allies to challenge me." Sawa left it unsaid what the results had been.

Kurenai felt a little, uneasy as Sawa circles around her, like shark waiting to devour a mean, in this case such being very possible, but at the same time she felt no, ill intention from the Sith, "be in you... as you say master". She arched her neck a little allowing the other vampire to tip at the skin, able to feel the red liquid ooze from the skin, Kurenai's memories falling back to when she was very, very small, only glimspes of her mother and dad, more black shaded figures then any recognizable faces. Though one thin Kurenai remembered was mothers light blue hair, long and flowing, sharpe pointed fringe with that odd little poking bit on top.

Soon the two broke off, Kurenai rubbing her neck a little as the small bite mark quickly vanished, the tingling sensation still present though, her eye falling into those of Sawa, anxious on the outcome, one that was more shocking then she thought. "Y-your my great grandmother... I am an Ike, that is a lot to take in but what about my mother? Is she still alive, what about my father, unless that is to sensitive a topic to talk about".

Sawa was looking at her and raised an eyebrow as she brought her hands up and traced along her lips and cheek. "Shhh shh shh my dear." She said it and made it less scary but more like she was comforting a child.... well her great grand child. "You are a decent image of her in some ways." She tapped her shoulders and spun her around with a nod of her head. "She may be and so might he.. energy vampires are notoriously territorial in the galaxy. We can be around each other for some time but eventually it is important to go to grrner pastures as it were.. different selections of food." She said it but was looking over at her. "It also helps hide when you normally move around, even pretending to be some of the longer lived humanoid species we will outlive those estimated."

Kurenai felt a little of, being treated like a child, often such roles being the other way around, but at the same time Sawa seemed to be a natural at it, "I look like her, well if I ever see a woman who looks like me it would probably safe to assume such". The prospect of seeing her mother some time seemed like an interesting thought, but at the same time the possible issue that came with it, no doubt after her and great grandmother confrontation there is most likely going to be some... hate, putting it lightly. "Though I can understand that reasoning of hiding in plain sight, that would explain why mother settled down in Bellsaas while raising me for my first 5 years, then I guess when the time was up came here"? Perhaps that was why she never saw her again, being defeated and forced to flee... wait had she been born as soon heir to the throne like thing? to ascend to rule over Sawa's domain if mother had won the battle? did mother even know she was still alive? "This is, quite overwhelming, think I need to sit down for a minute".

"Of course my dear." She was looking at her and setting it up while she looked at Kurenai... standing there when she thought about fighting her granddaughter with a small grin appearing on her face. She had tried all of those centuries ago to take power but she spoke. "I remember when she came here, to challenge me.. it is where most of the damage came from. So strong, so prideful and thinking that she would be able to beat me on the grounds... that she was younger. She never understood that age brings wisdom and power." Sawa was leading the way a sshe spoke over to a seat, next to the throne and it was next to the throne opposite side of the twi'lek. "It isn't much but in this room there is only so many places I wanted others to sit." Sawa motioned for her to sit down and motioned for some water.

Damage, "wait to the reason this place is under construction and that you where on the quest to find cloaking crystals to hide this place was because of my mothers attack... she certainly did a lot of damage". Suddenly a lot of what had happened today made sense, perhaps it was the will of the force that the two met, but either way to finally get closer on family history, why mother vanished all of a sudden. Following her great grandmother they made way back tot he throne room, Sawa motioning to a smaller seat but still just as extravagant seat next to her own, "thank you great grandmother, I will make sure my I do no repeat my parents mistake of challenging you". Slowly climbing the step Kurenai took seat, the furniture being a little more comfortable than she had expected, a small amount of pride welling up inside her as her eyes gazed around the fortress, a feeling of accomplishment and reason. it was nice.

"Oh you will eventually, where would the excitement be if you didn't try and challenge yourself my sweet child." Sawa said it and sat there though while she was looking at her. "Your mother only did what was natural, in a family line like ours where we can live forever getting ahead, getting the chance to be in charge and do what you want can be difficult when we are hard to kill with old age." Sawa said it while looking at Kurenai and smiled. "I hold no grudge against your mother and hen she returns if she just bows as she must to me... then I shall welcome her back home." She smiled though stroking at the woman's hair when she smiled. "Do you need something to drink my child? Do you feel faint after all of this?"

Kurenai gave a small fin at Sawa's statement, picking out a snide remark that she could make, after all now that they where family a little bit of the stern attitude had been dropped by the younger vampire. Not that she was going to deliberately be disrespectful by a small quip here and there would not hurt, "I never said I would not challenge, just that I would not repeat my mothers mistake, that could mean many things like not failing in challenging you, after all you stated yourself that my skill in combat is not very common". She would have to bring Sukai and Tana around to meet their new great, great grandmother, also being tied to the Ike family, where they not the rulers of Atrisia? Things just seemed to be getting even better the more she hung around here. "Well I hope to see mother again some time, hopefully she has had time to reconsider her action, and yes could I use a drink of some sort, make it a little stiff, need to give myself a little kick".

She had a grin on her face and of the excitement from it here, what she might be able to see where as she held up a hand and one of the servants was coming. With the scent of something strong in the bottle. "Well then my sweet child, I look forward to that day be it in a year or several thousand. FOr now my apprentice drink deeply and enjoy your new station. All fo atrisia shall be open to you should you wish it.... all of my palace stronghold is open to you.... just don't kill my sweet pets. They serve their uses and training new ones takes time I could use thinking of ways to entice your mother and grandmother to return here."

She gave a small nod to the servant as the drink was brought over, herself taking a small swing, the rich bitter taste being just what she needed to feel invigorated once more, yep this was happening, and it was the best thing ever. "Do not worry about your 'pets' I am not one to kill if I can avoid it, perhaps I can practice on a few, slowly work my level up to your own, would not be surprised if half your wealth was attained through sweet talking". It as one of the things that came naturally to vampires, aside from glaring intimidation, something Kurenai was rather good at, even when trying to act nice. "Who knows I may construct my own under world empire somewhere else, got a decent reputation around the outre rim when I was an assassin"/

Sawa looked at her and took a drink while she was sitting there and grinned. "Well well well that does sound like a plan and my sweet child, it all comes from thousands of years of planning and investing. Our family, the Ike clan is spread across the stars, all from this here the font of their birth, the blood of Atrisia is within our veins and we as wonderful to it." She was looking at it here now, where she could go and her personal fortune was enogh she rivaled some hutts she knew. "We are only a little more wealthy then some of the hutt clans but compared to them we make sounder investments, less risk of problems from criminal activities." She said it sweetly though and thought about well what they did with mining and basically running most of the trade and businesses on the planet. "We also have ties with several royal families, they like to give gifts to some of your family members.

"I guessed with Ike as the last name there would be relation to the royal family, not surprised there, it is probably useful for them to have a small army of millennium old vampire on there side", Also with a personal fortress with millions of credits sunken into it they would have more then enough reason to defend the planet if it ever came under threat from attack. "This place makes my own wealth look like a simple dollar bill in comparison, heck this place could probably rival the royal palace,though I have to ask, what are these sound investments that our family makes"? Trading? war bonds, or just anything not illegal that could make them money in the long run, which in retrospect was not really that long.

"We build, we rebuild, we mine, we sell and we trade. We make and supply materials for the clothing the families buy." She said it with a smile. "We grow tea, we grow rice and food that everyone buys from the lowest child in the streets scraping by to the highest member of the royal family. All in many ways pay us something, we run for the most part the travel betwen here and worlds like Sakura which is an Atrisian resort world." She said it and then raised her eyebrows. "Our sound investment was in atrisia itself, as long as it has people who want to flourish then we flourish." Sawa sat there though and offered a hand to Kurenai. "As to the royal family we are not the direct line. My elder sister was destined to rule Atrisia... I merely stepped aside and went to a world near but enough away I could have my own subjects until they betrayed me with the help of others. Men long dead and buried within the necropolis."

Kurenai almost spat her drink out at the shear amount of business dealings Sawa had, "that is a very tycoon like plan we have going, I did not expect that much stuff to be produced here and in such great variety". Seems similar to the company of Sasori that seemed to be able to manufacture anything and everything, regardless of cost of development, probably had huge suppleness of money to draw on in times of need. "SO we are not in line to the throne at all, sad but just being related is a nice thought, does that mean the royal of Atrsia are vampire too? never really seemed that was since they age and die, or have they lost the long life due to producing so many heirs"? Not that she had kept much check on the planets Royal family until now, more focused on staying alive throughout the many battle fields and galaxy wide plagues through that last 800 years.

"Oh there are a few but our blood is not pure compared to some energy vampires.. we do have a little mixed in. it is how we have our features compared to some energy vampires who look a lot more sickly and ghoulish." Sawa said it and watched Kurenai wrapping her mind around it. "And if a whole lot of people ended up dead well we'd be able to ascend to the throne.. which is alright but honestly my sweet child. Would you want to rule a planet? Could you see yourself stuck in one place, with a job that never ends, people looking to you to make decisions and every decision you make they question, debate and say how they would have done it better? Do you realy want to try and do that?" She said it but looked out the window. "THough there was a time, long ago when I was young, dreams of duling took me to a different planet to rule it and bring our glory there... for a time it worked but I had to hurt someone very close to get to it."

She could understand the part about being ghouls, she remembered stories about other more pure energy vampires being like haggard old people, pale and dead looking skin, not something very appealing to the eye. "Once again your words are wise great grandmother, I don't think I'd have the patient or the skill to rule a whole planet, sure maybe a small area, but I myself like the freedom to do as I please and wasting to much time on a whole range of other things is simply not my cup of tea". Not that she would really drink tea anyways, but over all Kurenai had no real desire to rule a planet, as was not much for overly luxurious palaces all to herself, a more practicality over fashion sort of person, though it never hurt to keep up with the latest trends. "Well then what would our next course of business be? or are we just sitting back and relaxing after a long days mission done"?

Hmm Sawa would have to think about it, their next course of business could be anything. She was rather enjoying this development, this.. change within the relationship between them. Being older she looked upon Kurenai as a possible meal at one point. Something she might have to fight and face down if she challenged her... those instincts were there but Kurenai wasn't confrontational with her... didn't need to by put in her place. Sawa was looking at Kurenai and figured she would one day have to fight the young woman but she'd figure that out when the time came.. she'd deal with it and killing her wasn't worth it. That was family after all and she had children to see eventually.. when they were ready to handle the truth or at least see this place. Hmm maybe she'd invite all of them to pandamonia. "Well, my next business is seeing to my sanctuary on gromas, the miners there, the prospects who come looking for phrik... they make such great delivery."

The two sat in silence for a while, several thoughts running through Kurenai's mind about what her great grandmother was thinking about, though the time between words seemed to indicate much more then simply reviewing their next assignment. "You have a private places on Gromas as well, can't say I've visited the place much before, what is it like? also your own personal Phrick mine must surly come in handy but is also very profitable", she would not begin to count the sharp increase in phrik armor as of late. Every military truing to get the edge up on force users and and their lightsabers, all that did though was make Jedi and Sith alike improve their sabers or make different but just as deadly weapons. "Am I right to guess that you go by a different title when around that area of space, if so i will need to pick out a different outfit"?
