Having Fun Juggling Your Schedule?

"Any other way is too suspicious right now. Security's spread thin because they have so many eyes on the doors. Crus'we doesn't trust droids to guard him, and the hotel has been moving toward getting rid of most of their droid staff to hire sentient beings because of the economy's collapse." Rena frowned. "This is your home, Zip. Your planet. Don't pay much attention to what you're supposed to do beyond what warehouse to blow up? What do you really even fight for?" She sighed and planted her hands on her hips. "And you, Tal. What's a Jedi doing here prancing about like a child?"

Of course she knew. She wouldn't have hired them otherwise. But she wanted to hear their responses, get an appropriate read on them.

"I'm actually not a Jedi." A wry smile became plastered on his face as he wiped his tunic down once more. "I'm actually just a runaway brat." Talath made a small chuckle. "Child is actually the best way to describe me. I mean, I'm still way below the reasonable recruiting age for any form of regime or resistance. Thank goodness for that." A quick glance to [member="Zip"] made Talath's face slightly sympathetic. "No offense, but a resistance is only a short term solution. Just look back to the days of the Empire. That lasted only what, thirty years? Being a Jedi would throw me into the conflict, or the fire, if you please. I'd rather just play by my own rules."

Talath scratched his chin for a small moment. "No droids means we can't just reprogram them. And how exactly are we supposed to get him into the elevator? I doubt he'd fall for anything we could give him, so the only other option would be to just shove him in and run. There might be some witnesses, but I guess if we time it right, even that would be minimal."

The pair of blue eyes couldn't stop looking at the hotel as if they could practically see into it. "Well, I'm ready when you are. Just don't get cocky halfway through, kid."

[member="Rena Bahr"]

[member="Rena Bahr"] started to talk about how Crus'we didn't trust droids and only allowed actual people run the hotel that and the economic collapse made it too expensive to run droids. Zip tilted his head. Rena frowned at him and instantly he got scoldings. She said that Nubia was his home and if he didn't pay attention to more than just doing what he was told then what was the point. This made Zip irritated. He had all those extracurricular activities going on, like he is supposed to keep up on the politics of Nubia? He shook his head in disgust, he had only recently moved to Nubia, to him things were much easier on Corellia. He thought of a response for a second.

"Look, I have too much going on in my life to give a chit about what some slack jawed mutt in a hotel does! And who cares if if I'm like a pup waiting for my next orders from [member="Fulcrum"] just to follow them like a blind dog I am fighting for something bigger than myself, who are you to care? Some Merc that takes bounties?" He sighed he didn't mean to get worked up over the woman asking a simple question, but he just got irritated way too quick.

He ran his hands through his hair before letting out a sigh. Talath said he'd rather play by his own rules than by that of some organisations. Which from a perspective was right. He closed his eyes for a second.

Talath reminded him not to get cocky halfway through and that he was ready if Zip was. Zip was ready, but waited just in case Rena wanted to say anything else.

"Me cocky...Never." he'd say in a sarcastic tone, still a bit irritated from Rena's comment.

[member="Talath Lunelle"]

A tad irked by his attitude, Rena responded, "Really? And what exactly would that be? Because all I've seen so far is a child who ignores what's going on around him. You pulled out your datapad in the middle of a busy cafe where everyone could see you looking at warehouses. On top of that, you wouldn't even be able to go off-planet because of all the extra-curriculars you have, so that keep you stuck on this planet." She reigned herself in a bit. "If you're following orders like a blind dog, Zip, you won't know what you're fighting for. It will always be bigger than yourself. But it won't always be better than before. Question everything."

Rena sighed and rubbed the back of her head. Damn, I sound old. "Pull a fire alarm or something to get everyone moving. After that, use the chaos to shove Crus'we inside. I need to be able to identify him for the bounty, so keep him by the windows. I've already shown you two his picture, so you should remember what he looks like. Take it slow. If you have questions, communicate them to me. That's why I gave you the comlinks. As for an exit strategy..." Rena tapped her chin. "Well, we'll figure it out when we get to that point. Now, we're wasting daylight. Is everything good now?"

Having no trouble following where the conversation was going, Talath took a moment to pat Zip on his shoulder, hoping to defuse any hostile come back the young man might have. "Fire alarms. Got it." He made a quick mental note of the name Zip had mentioned. 'Fulcrum...' It was not a name Talath recognized, but he had been cut off from the rest of the galaxy for most of his life. Knowing who did or owned what was none of his concern.

"As far as mercenaries go, Rena has proved thus far to be quite different. If I'm not mistaken, whoever you're rebelling against would probably pay a handsome ransom for a rebel. Be glad she isn't turning you in." He patted down his robes again (seriously, is this a habit?!) in an effort to smooth them out.

"Figuring out an exit plan shouldn't be too hard once we're inside. I'm still waiting on where my uniform is. You've yet to point me in its direction." He flashed a brief, forced smile to try and soften his words.

Zip grew irritated but took a deep breath, his fists clenched as [member="Rena Bahr"] spoke, what she was saying was true, Zip wasn't one for noticing his surroundings. Everyday he would rush from class to class nearly knocking down anyone he came into contact with. After his classes depending on the season and day, he would find himself at practice. Twas the daily schedule for Zerrik. The Rebellion was something he decided he wanted to do in his free time though it had started to become something of a unreachable goal.

He sighed, no matter how much his instinct told him to walk away from the job, he knew he couldn't. He bit his lip when Rena said to question everything. He wanted to retort but he felt [member="Talath Lunelle"]'s hand patting his shoulder. He opened his hands Talath attempted to defend Rena saying how she was different by not taking Zip in for being a rebel. Zip closed his eyes for a second and calmed himself down.

"Yes everything is fine." He'd say dryly.

He was still hurt but ready to go. He patted down his best one last time, his blaster was in his vest. He trusted that he was a good enough actor to bypass the guards without a pat down.

Rena let the mood flow as water under the bridge and waved a hand lazily. "Uniform's in the staff room. In a couple of minutes it'll be completely empty, since everyone's breaks will be finished. Make your way through the lobby and wait for a clear shot at the stairs to the lower floors. It should be quiet from there. Tal will have to do that on his own since Zip will draw too much attention, but as long as you can keep your head down and not get distracted, I'm confident you can do it."

She tapped her ear. "Any other questions, ask me on the comm. I need to get into position." Offering a slight smile for confidence, Rena slipped away, out of the square, and towards the building she'd mentioned before.

[member="Zip"]

[member="Talath Lunelle"]

Talath didn't do much as he watched Rena walk off towards her named position. "Alright, hot shot. Let's go kidnap a Twi'lek." He took steps towards the hotel, urging Zip to follow. "I hope you can get past security with your toys. If not, this might get exponentially difficult. In the event that something goes haywire, you put as much distance between us as possible. If you're questioned, we don't know each other." He smiled briefly before taking a glance behind him. "Standard procedure for you, I'm sure. But I just want to get it out of the way."

As they were closing in on the hotel, the black haired child took a moment to close his eyes and took a deep breath. "The force is my ally." He muttered to himself. Ally or not, he would have trouble using it. Hopefully, he wouldn't need to. He stood just before the door, waiting for a signal from Zip and hopefully (but not likely) one from Rena that she had gotten into position. Even if she had, would she be able to see them from there? She was guaranteed to see the floor in question, not the lobby. He tried not to dwell on it.

[member="Zip"]

As she disembarked the elevator to the floor she would have the best view from, Rena clicked her comm twice to signal the two below her, and quickly set herself at work by mounting her sniper rifle and peering through the scope to take everything in.

It's up to you two now, she thought, and bit her lip thanks to a nervous habit.

Zip nodded to Rena as she began to make her way to the adjacent building. He looked to Talath who began to walk towards the building. Zip quickly followed while he listened to Talath speak. They reached the front door and Zip pulled it open. The security instantly looked at the drama club teen.

"How can I help you sir?" The man would mutter as he walked closer to the teen. Zip did his best to keep up a hurried look on his face. His eyes darted around the room

"There's a fight in the plaza..." Zip started off slowly. The security guard's face seemed uninterested.

"That isn't our problem son-" The man started, but Zip cut him off.

"One of them was wearing the hotel's logo...he was beating an elderly woman" Zip said quickly. The man gave him a confused look before pulling his collar.

"Units three and five...reports of a fight happening in the plaza. Time to respond." The security officer motioned for the rest of the security in the lobby to follow. The only people left in the lobby were the deskman and a few guests. Zip then looked back to Talath and nodded. The teen made his way to the front desk.

"Hey...I heard you guys rent rooms." Zip said to the man behind the front desk.

He looked up from his work. His nose scrunched. Zip then proceeded to talk to the man about rooms, hoping to provide [member="Talath Lunelle"] with a distraction
[member="Rena Bahr"]

Talath didn't wait long after [member="Zip"] decided to act. The moment Zip nodded towards him, he slipped past the rapidly leaving guards without much trouble. It wasn't entirely unlikely that he would be spotted, but he didn't feed that thought. Focusing on the mission was the important thing. While he approached the stairs, he did wonder why he accepted the assignment earlier. He probably got too wrapped up in his childish demeanor and lost most sense of reality. A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he opened the door to the staff room. That made it sound like it wasn't by choice. He confused himself sometimes.

There was a bag, smack dab in the middle of the room. [member="Rena Bahr"] didn't seem to care much where she put it. 'Or maybe that's what she wants people to think.'

He didn't waste a second as he had already begun throwing off his robes. Every moment he was in here he risked being found. Rena had, to a point, assured him that he would be safe from prying eyes for a while, but it didn't do much to ease him. The blue eyes did their best to keep off of his body. He hated his appearance. The plan was replaying over and over in his mind. By the time he was fully dressed, it was seared into his brain. 'Where should I put my clothes...?' It hadn't occurred to Talath that perhaps he would have to place his own clothes someplace.

He just put his own clothes into the bag and decided to wear it. It might look suspicious, but hey... he was a part of the maintenance crew. Anyone who saw him with it probably wouldn't think twice about it. Making his way back to Zip, Talath saw the elevator. He didn't want to cause too much attention, so he only looked at Zip and began walking. Hopefully Zip would follow. If not, he wasn't an idiot. He would find a way around it.
Talath entered the elevator and pushed the button for the thirty-second floor.
