A surge of panic shot through her the moment Kaila was shot. A small ball of tension sprung up in a similar spot on her own knee, to the point Kita looked down in confusion. There was nothing there however.
Kita decided not to meditate on the feeling as the boarding ramp carried them both up.
"Are you ok?" The girl flocked back to the older woman's side, offering help that she clearly didn't need.
As they moved into the ship. Kita adopted that same wide eyed amazement she met every new discovery with. She moved around the quarters with a certain carefulness, as if she was afraid of disturbing the air particles. "This is incredible."
It was then she caught sight of the sights. Within the span of a second her face was pressed up against the view port, definitely leaving smudged handprints on the glass in her effort to take in the view. "Nevermind. This is incredible."
She turned back to the woman, full of hope and amazement, as if the past week had been washed away.
"Is Echnos your home?" She cautioned, parroting the location Kaila had mentioned.
