Once she was safely on the ground, Lynn snapped her line and stood there looking at the group. The first to speak was the man who called himself Veiere. Looking him over his attire looked like traditional Jedi and he was armed. She could sense his presence was light side, but that could always be a trick.

In Lynn's experience you couldn't always trust what you saw on the surface. She was wearing her body suit with the mask and hood up and no harness. In her right hand was a lightsaber that once belonged to Mace Windu. On her wristes were custom made lineshooters she used in combat, but mainly for movement purposes. She chose not to be very skilled in offensive Force abilities, but her defence abilities we're strong and her senses were finely tuned. She was even known to be a Flow Walker.

She considered unmasking herself, but she wasn't confident these people meant no arm. She pressed a button on her wrist to scrambke her voice to sound female, but also a bit robotic; picture the voice of Siri.

"I am Corerunner and I gaurd this temple. If you wish to do it harmless, you will have to go through me." Naturally Lynn was a kind, gentle soul, but when danger lerked around she became more bold and willing to sacrifice her life to protect whatever she believed in. Her men stayed hidden until she gave the orders as the element of surprise was much more advantageous.

Viktor scanned the room for a quick moment to allow them to have one last chance to vent. When nobody spoke up he nodded.

"Ok then let's bring the delegation back in."

Viktor turned to one of the people by the door.

"Would you invite them back in please."

Viktor stood as did the other members of the Yutani government present. The door to the room Kay and the others were in would first be knocked on and then slowly opened.

"Your Majesty. They are waiting when you are ready."

The door would be left open for Kay and her group to return to their places so the talks could resume.

"Five credits say it's a trap. Make sure armed escort is with the medical lest we get tricked." Darlyn muttered as they began moving to assist the vessel in distress. It didn't feel right, and Darlyn's hand reached for his personal lightsaber, running his fingers over it to find some small comfort. Much as he enjoyed the big ship, the void of space was hardly a place his actual skillset could be of much use. You couldn't swing a lightsaber to fight a ship. Well you could, and he was stupid enough to do it, but that didn't change the fact it was a highly ineffective strategy.

When the transmission was brought up for them to speak, he offered a nod to Vikras and stepped forward. "Alright, listen clear and listen well cause I am not in a mood to repeat myself. You're in violation of, well, probably more laws than I can care to remember, and are currently being addressed by Commenor's Minister of Justice here by request of the planet you're currently in orbit of. So, the way I see it you lot have two real options. Option A, you lot surrender your vessels, allow our troops to board and arrest you, and commander your ships. Do that and you'll be given full protection of those in custody and a trial. Option B, don't surrender, and I'll be sure to come over there whether you like it or not, and personally rip the innards out of anyone foolish enough to try and continue their little attempt at piracy. You have, oh, until our battlecruiser makes its way over to you to decide. Power down and we won't have to do this the hard way."

When the transmission ended, he glanced over at Vikras with a chuckle. "You do realize no matter what we said, things are gonna get violent right?"

Kay sipped her tea while Rex spoke. It seemed that she was the only one that was partaking in anything that was offered. Maybe they were all too much on edge. She didn't really feel like eating either, but the tea was something that she couldn't say no to. It always brought her comfort like a warm hug. Tea was something that never let her down.

"Full time job or not, you can't be on task all the time. What about sleep,? What about when you're ill? There are others to cover for you, so I won't be without. I wouldn't want you to put so much stress on yourself that you'd only find yourself being overwhelmed by anxiety whenever I'm not with you. So you deserves breaks every now and then."

The knock at the door and opening of it interupted her thoughts. It was time. She bowed her head. "Thank you." Kay quickly finished up her tea and put her cup down, glancing to Harvey and Elsa. "Ready?" She brushed down her dress a bit and then headed out to meet with the Yutani officials, noting that they were already on their feet. It was a good thing that she didn't keep them waiting. Kay retook her seat, once again crossing her feet at the ankles and tucking them under her chair. It kept her from fidgeting with them.

"Thank you for the refreshments. The tea was lovely. I have another proposal to add to what I've already put on the table. But if you'd rather speak first, then I am willing to listen."

He listened to Kay speak and rose a brow, a little. What she said hadn't annoyed him, it was that accursed tea, he could never get into that stuff, and Kay's romanticized version of it mad him hate it even more, it was like a gentle hug, but there was nothing gentle in this world, besides his stuffed toy, but that was not a real thing. He decided to calm down and give everyone a little ease by making a little joke and hopefully at least make some of them smile, or watch them stare blandly at him as he failed his joke.

"Oh that's funny, you think I sleep? HA, I havn't slept in years, I stay curled up at the foot of your bed listening to you two sleep in bed, he has a snoring problem and you roll a lot.... I've said too much."

As he said this he said it in a joking manor hoping to get that across and that it was a joke, he did pick a bad topic, he should have gone for something else, but it was too late now, he had said the joke and he had to stay with it. A man came in and told them that they were ready to receive them again. He followed behind Kay as she made her way to her chair and he pulled her chair out as she sat down and pushed her in before standing behind her with his arms behind his back.

As soon as they got there and Kay began talking she was off about that accursed tea, he was just gritting his teeth as he tried to bite back a remark, oh how he hated that tea.

The fact-checker wasted no time to go around the district to shop for local computer repair shops, detailing the kind of trouble he suffered from, and the cost ranged from a mere 150 credits to 350 credits, but with roughly the same amount of labor charged, time-wise: it was just a question of hourly rates, more or less. In addition, this was a commercial district, with a wide variety of merchandise being sold in the area, so computer shops were easy to come by, and hence he could get quotes for six different technicians easily. Also some of them sold other office supplies, while other shops focused more on the electronics and appliances side of that business. He wasted no time getting that assignment done so he reported back to the Jawa for further notices in his office, while the Jawa was busy with other business to tend to:

"For any further needs of replacement of computer equipment, here is a list of dealers around the neighborhood" he told Klesta, while handing him a list of retailers.

"Really? Thank you: now go help the other fact checkers get set up and then see if it's not a more generalized problem"

Einon, an old employee of Kay's happened to have been on Tarhassan when word had spread about Commenor's reach extending out that way. He was, before her abduction by [member="Darth Prazutis"] , her head bodyguard. He took great pride in his work, yet that day continued to bear down on his soul. It was the worst day in his career. He took a day off as he was under the weather, having caught a bit of the flu. There was no way that he wanted to risk spreading it among Kay and the rest of the staff. Sickness or not, he should have been there. Maybe he could've stopped it.

After she was taken, Einon had teamed up with [member="Veiere Arenais"] , [member="Ghorua the Shark"] , Terrac, [member="Ultimatum"] and others in a bid at trying to find her. They had searched for months yet had gotten nothing. It frustrated him to no end and drove him to drink. But he didn't overdo it. There was still work to be done.

And then she returned, darker and fearful, and not alone. The announcement came of the death of the Elders. Martial law was nearly declared on the populace, government officials were all being rounded up for questioning. So Einon did what any reasonable person would do. He stole a few of her precious things and escaped. Ghorua found him first and took him to safety, the only cost being Kay's lightsaber of which he was glad to give. Just let her try to get it from the Herglic. He knew that Ghorua could kill her.

Afterwards, Einon never stopped moving. He travelled from place to place, avoiding notice. Lucky for him he was never a public figurehead or anyone of note, so he found that he could travel with ease. He took up jobs here and there, but his savings were still doing well. Einon was never a big spender.

It was the wedding between Kay and Veiere that was broadcasted out on the holonet that made him head back to this corner of space. Einon knew that Veiere was no fool. He couldn't be tricked into following evil. And he looked genuinely happy, even proud. So what was the game? What was going on?

Corgan's Gustatorium was the most popular place in the highly populated planet of Tarhassan. So it was here that he began to discover just what was going on. He was dressed in his own 'formal' attire that was really nothing more than a fancy leather jacket and black trousers. He didn't even shave. But with a fake smile and whiskey in hand, Einon made his way ftom one grouping of people in the celebration to the next, listening in on their conversations as he waited to hear certain key words.

Vikras watched the communications screen as the captain of the leading enemy frigate looked all too displeased in the face of [member="Darlyn Excron"]'s given ultimatum. Without so much as a response their way, the communication was cut off from the pirates end of the line leaving the Admiral to dip his gaze to the floor, exhaling under his breath in sighing fashion; "It certainly looks that way, Minister" Vikras replied rather skeptically, the choice of words could have been better chosen yet naval endeavors were not Darlyn's area of expertise.

"All Ships, initiate formation Beta Five. Corvettes to port and starboard of the Receiver, provide over-watch. Frigates proceed underway, shields to bow. All Fighters, prioritize secondary contact" Vikras gave his orders across the fleet wide com-channel, the QueensGuard's thrusters suddenly firing with a fair bit more exertion to position the Battle-Cruiser ahead of the Super-Carrier. The Receiver behind them would soon be flanked by the two Corvettes on either side for added protection given it's lacking in firepower, the Cruisers shields taking the brunt of any damages dealt to it's bow. Ahead of Vikras, he watched while the Ardent Frigates moved ahead of the Kantos War Frigates, prioritizing power in the defense of the overall fleet.

Now to their stern, the Receiver began to initiate flight protocols to half of it's X-Wing Fighter Squadrons, letting loose five of them, six birds to a squadron; the fighters surged into the blanket of space that surrounded them and proceeded to take to formations of their own, racing on ahead of the larger ships with the support of the last three interceptor squadrons, eighteen A-Wings taking the lead to give their little armada a clear show of force that they were willing to take should these criminals look to threaten the sector any further.

With her lightsaber in hand, his gaze was drawn momentarily to the weapon, giving a slight furrow to his brows as he met with her gaze soon thereafter and spoke gently. "Many people called this place home once upon a time. I sought to do the same once back in the shadow of the Republic. I meant this place no threat then, nor do I now...-You will not be needing that lightsaber here with me, I assure you" he offered a faint smile, dipping his head to the woman and soon moving to step on passed her, making sure to keep his distance so not to pose her any notion of threat. The confirmation of someone living here gave him a small hope that perhaps other Jedi had returned since the sacking of the temple wrought on by the Sith and enemies of the Republic looking for an easy gain. "Tell me, if you'd be so kind...-How many others still live within the Temple?".

If it indeed was a generalized problem, then there will be a more pressing need to expedite the hiring process, and not just by hiring local IT help, in which case they will avoid the visa complications that plagued the old process: the original hire was still hired, but for another position on Ziost, since the original hire was coming in from somewhere in the Caldera. Usually the RE allowed free movement of people between planets for labor purposes, so that was a bonus. Meanwhile, Klesta was busy with other stuff, such as ensuring that the computer problems weren't extending to other departments. Fact-checking might have one kit of problems, and he might be fielding quotes for ergonomic assessments because he realizes that the staff's health is important to maintain the outfit's productivity. Especially since the journalistic industry works on very, very tight delays on very short notices.

"I would like some ergonomic assessments done if at all possible: shop around for those doing it on the planet. And then, if necessary, shop for that off-world: better safe than sorry" Klesta told the health and safety executive.

Erinhart sat at a table, sipping quietly on his drink. The auction would b gin soon. He could arrest no one till it was over, and he had proof. Of course, he would have loved to shoot the rich bastards here and now, for he knew they were breaking the law, but he could do nothing without evidence. His bodyguards were in postition, and the event was being recorded.

As the night wore on, Erinhart did not bid. All of the 47 slaves up for auction were bought, but just as the bidders got up to leave, Erinhart stood.

"All of you are under arrest, come quietly and we can promise you protection under custody and a fair trial."

Erinhart would have taken the fair trial part with a grain of salt. The queens despised slavers, and so did he. Even if the trial was fair, the punishment would not be.

Either way, the slavers stood, shocked for a moment before someone chuckled. A chuckle turned to laughter and soon the cantina was alive with laughter. When they calmed the jeered at the Commenori, asking him if what he would do all one his own. Erinhart drew his pistol, as his guards stepped out of the shadows, weapons raised. Almost all slavers surrendered imeadiatly.

Viktor watched the delegation return and take their seats. Once they did Viktor and the officials retook their own seats. Giving Kay his full attention he waited until she finished speaking. Pausing for only a quick minute he gave her a nod.

"Your Majesty you have the floor."

Even though it did not show on his face Viktor was curious as to what new revelation had been discussed between them. More importantly what effect it would have on the strained relations between them. Diplomatic negotiations were hardly something that had a normal flow to them but this one had already had a few ups and downs. To say Viktor enjoyed the inherent challenge of it all was an understatement.

Kay just had to smirk at Rex's joke on sleeping on the floor at the foot of her bed. Ha! Like she'd ever allow that to happen. No one is allowed inside her bedchambers but Veiere. All the staff knew that. And their evenings spent together weren't as often as they'd like. But duty calls and they'll have more time together when they retired from public life.

Back to the negotiation...

She nodded as Viktor once again gave her the floor. Kay didn't look at him so much as she did the rest of the Yutani officials. It was them that she had to convince afterall.

"Not long ago, before I was made Queen, I was abducted and held hostage for many months. During that time I was subjected to endless tortures, attacking both my mind and my body. There was no respite and no hope. As time went on I wondered where anyone was, where I was, would I be rescued, why was I captured in the first place? During that time my husband and some close friends searched for me. But where were our numerous allies to help in our time of need? They were nowhere near, nor willing to lend a hand.

After I was released, I was so scared of everyone that I nearly put Commenor in a state of martial law after the Elders had died, leaving me to rule in their stead. The Palace was attacked and still there was no help.

It was then that I decided that I couldn't count on anyone else to look after us. We needed to look after ourselves. We bolstered our forces and have done really well. Then others came to us from nearby worlds wanting to share in our economy and to share in our protection, so we obliged. And we are spreading that help even further. When you are in need, when Yutan is in need, we will be here to help. I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through."

She took a pause as she had a sip of water before continuing. "Now I know that you are all worried about your soverignty and control over your own world. Believe me when I tell you that you have nothing to fear. My husband and I have discussed the creation of a Senate with representatives from each planet under our care, as well as some of the neutral planets that we are allied with. You will all have equal voices and can help me in building a Charter that we must all follow.

Would you be interested?"

Lynn stood examining the man, her guard was slowly slipping as she heard the sincerity in his words. She saw his eyes drop and fixate on her lightsaber. "Worry not about my lightsaber, I carry it because I have no combat harness on this suit." She sighed slightly to herself before reaching up and lowering her hood and pulling off her mask and placing it into her sleeve before covering her blonde hair once again with the hood. He voice would now be that of a young woman without the aid of a scrambler.

"There hasn't been anyone here except myself and my men and as far as I can tell it has been that way for years. I was once a member of the Silver Jedi, but they have chosen a path that goes against the teaches of the Jedi, so I have come here and continued my training in solitude. Except for the small group of soldiers my father sent here to watch over me. My real name is Lynn Nantaris." She smiled warmly facing the older man. The pit of her stomach was hoping she was right in her assessment that this man was here for peace and not destruction.

"In a perfect world, we wouldn't need to fight, but so long as there are Sith and other belligerents that threaten the peace, it is our duty to protect all those in need. That has been our mandate since days the first of the Jedi left Tython on their quest for justice thousands of years ago."

She continued to be mindful of the presence of the hidden people all around her as she spoke, growing increasingly uncomfortable with how they hid even though she had called out to them politely and had done her best not to appear as a threat.

As she was beginning to wonder if she had stumbled into a Sith camp, she would feel a familiar presence approach. From a distance, she made it out to be none other than Veiere, King of Commenor, and once a fellow Republic Jedi like herself. It had only been a few weeks ago that she had met with him and Queen Kay during a conference on their home planet, due for another round of talks on Voss quite soon.

It seemed like his arrival would do the trick to coax out the hidden ones, she discovered while walking towards
Veiere for a cautious greeting. She would come close enough to hear some of their exchange, trash talking the Silver Jedi Order, and revealing themselves to be Lynn Nantaris.

That had been one of Sorel's pupils. It made sense to see Lynn be one of the ones to leave the Silver Order upon the previous Grandmaster's abrupt departure. A breed of Jedi with a peculiar interpretation of the Jedi Code and pillars. One that saw them guarding derelict temples instead of people being terrorized by Sith on the daily. Someday she hoped all the disparate groups of Jedi would get over their petty differences in dogma to see the big picture, but for now, she would just leave Lynn and the others to their own devices and hope they eventually found their way.

"Veiere?!" she exclaimed. "I expected the Commenor Order to pass through, but it's a pleasant surprise to see you make it out here. Nice to see you have time for me and dusty old temples."

"Lynn," she addressed with much less enthusiasm, wondering if Lynn had spoken those hurtful - and untrue - words knowing full well it had been Arisa in the courtyard the whole time. Tact was such an undervalued quality.

He sipped his whiskey after a slight chuckle, a shake of his head given after having heard an unsuccessful attempt at a joke and then walked away from that group. Oh how he hated many in high society, always making fun of the working class. If only they knew what it was really like...

At the next little gathering that he began to pass, Einon paused after hearing some of the key words that he was searching for.

"....Queen Kay? Is she to be our Queen? What would we call her?"

"I don't know. I hope she isn't. But it's hard to say."

"Well let's hope that we don't have to call her Empress."

The others nodded in agreement and then carried on to a different topic. Einon chose then to move on as well. He wasn't quite ready to start asking questions.

Yuroic listened carefully to Master Yune as they moved towards the new people that were joining them. He recognised the male, he had been there when his Master decided to broker trade with Commenor and the Iron Empire, it was a different way of Jedi life. Using diplomacy and conversation instead of the usual fighting Sith that he had become more common with. Yuroic remained silent as she greeted herself to Master Veiere and then having to listen to Lynn insult the Silver Jedi Order and their ways. He could feel the build of anger welling up inside himself, she was insulting his family, people he cared about.

However, he set aside his anger. Knowing that it would do no good here. It was unfortunate that his tongue slipped when he spoke, The Silver Jedi follow the Code more than you could know. Once the words were out, he knew it was a mistake. He shouldn't have said anything but his annoyance was higher than he had anticipated and his dislike of the girl was more than he expected. Stepping behind his Master, he murmured an apology to Arisa for speaking out of turn. He knew that she would not be impressed, they were not there to be hostile and attack others.

Ergonomic assessments were recommended for employees who have a history of work accidents or work-related health problems so as to prevent their reoccurrence; ideally Klesta would want to do ergonomic assessments in a blanket fashion, but often ergonomic assessments were expensive and he would prioritize those who had a past history of those items. But he could not learn about those things without a breach of privacy. I'm sure there is a way to get stuff done, he thought, while fielding calls for quotes pertaining to ergonomic assessments. Once the health and safety officer reports back into the Jawa's office, he doesn't seem surprised, nor does he seem overjoyed, and neither was the HSO.

"Boss, I shopped around the city for those things, but they all seem to be about 150-200 credits per workstation"

"I might have a better idea, rather than to blanket ergonomic assessments, only reserve them for those at risk of work accidents or after those"

He gave a knowing smile to Kay as he chuckled a little at his joke. He liked to tease her, it made things a little easier and lighter between them. It was a formal placement being her personal guard but they didn't have to not talk to each other, as long as they knew when the time was appropriate or not it was fine to be friends with each other.

Back to the snore fest...

He stood with his back straight looking out at the crowds of delegates as they sat down and prepared for the second round of negotiations, round, like a boxing match but with words, it was interesting to think like that.

Then Kay began her speech and his ears perked up as she began with a very interesting statement about her being captured and tortured before she was queen. Images flashed through him as he listened to her story, not believing that this could've happened to her, but knowing but her voice that it must've been true, or most of it at least. He forced back his arm and stood there clenching his jaw from saying anything as the crowd listened to Kay's speech intently.

His own life flashed through his eyes as he listened, all the hardships he had gone through and everything he had seen and had done in his life, it still didn't seem real compared to the thought of Kay captured and tortured.

Her story hit him hard, and if didn't hit anyone else the same way then they were heartless mongrels. The story she was telling was one of hopelessness that turned into a flourishing life that almost would've been defeated if she had let into her fears, she might've changed some things to help make her feel safe but she took her stead as ruler and did what she felt was right even after all her hardships and fears roaming through her head, that showed true strength.

The strength that Kay showed was the purest form of strength that anyone could have, not one of mind or body, but one of soul. In which she could go through all that, her body and mind attacked but she still managed to rise above the fact and lead a Kingdom into a flourishing age which drew people from other planets to want to join hand-in-hand with the planet because of the success she made there. She did not have the biggest muscles and was not the smartest person in the galaxy, but she could go a round with the best with her soul.

She would always hold his respect.

The name Nantaris didn't ring any bells for Veiere, thus her father wasn't a man of any significance to his experience, yet it was the presence in the force around Lynn that Veiere found more reassuring; she seemed to be dropping her guard and thus diminishing in any terms of threat. "Well then..." He glanced briefly to the Jedi Temple wondering what state it was in and what these 'Men' of hers had made of the place. If they were to be soldiers, then he didn't have the greatest hope for what remained; "It's nice to meet you, Lynn. My name is Veiere Arenais...-I was once a part of the Jedi Order that resided here during the Republic's time in governance. I've come with the hope of re-establishing a presence of Jedi on Yutan..." His head bobbed to the right in a nod of indifference, what he was proposing of course was no small feat and would take many weeks to accomplish yet he believed it were possible with people of sound mind and heart, and the will to try.

And on that note, it seemed they would be joined by two others, Jedi of the Silver Order and Arisa of whom Veiere considered a friend through their experiences both across the sector of Voss and the Galactic Republic. Turning to find her and her apprentice approaching them, he smiled in surprise and bowed in formal greeting, soon chuckling softly at the mention of the Commenori Order and shaking his head slowly. "I'm not here for Commenor I'm afraid, Arisa, but it is fortunate timing to find you two with us. I take it your time in the sector is being well enjoyed?" He assumed they had remained in the area near to Commenor since their previous meeting, experiencing how life might be under Kay's form of government. His gaze was broken soon as Yuroic then spoke in response to Lynn's mention of the Silver Jedi Order, a comment that had initially gone over his head though now seemed to be near on provoking an awkward first impression between the group. Turning to glance to Lynn with a reassuring smile, he spoke encouragingly "The Silver Jedi have been long time friends of mine for years, they are good people...", he would then glance back to Yuroic so to be sure to keep the gesture of faith on mutual level, "They, as all other sects of the Jedi Order in the galaxy today, operate in a way that they believe to be right by their people and the will of the Force....-Frankly this is one of the reasons I'm here, Arisa" he concluded by turning to look back to his fellow Jedi Master and grinning faintly, "The Order of Commenor resides purely on Commenor, it acts as a hub for Force Users yet my path was always the Jedi Path and here, I hope to encourage other Jedi to co-operate and come together. I've come with the intention of forming a new circle here. Similar to the former Jedi of our past...".

Einon was doing well for himself eavesdropping. But he knew that it wouldn't be long before people started getting suspicious. So he took the opportunity to engage in conversation with the next group of people that he happened to walk near.

"So what do you think of Commenor taking over the region like some super power? Do you think that everything will change?"

"Nah, that's unlikely from what I hear. Things are pretty lax over there. Should be the same for us."

"Well I hope so. But with the beefing up of their fleets..."

"I heard about those. They say it's to protect the sector. After the last attacks, I welcome it."

"Are you sure that it's not to invade and occupy?"

"Boy aren't you the doomsday sort. 'You always this cheerful?"

"Just a concerned citizen, is all."

"I don't see soldiers taking over our streets or ships blasting the cities. We're fine. You're just getting paranoid."

"Probably right. Bad memories, that's all. You folks have a good evening." Einon left them. No one was on edge. That could be either a good thing, or a bad thing. He just hadn't decided.

Maybe it was time that he got in touch with [member="Veiere Arenais"] . Soon.
