. The man had been sent into medbay after a fight with Rex, having been knocked unconscious. And after an argument with Rex, she knew that she couldn't go as herself. So she went in disguise. Arla didn't even come with her, for that would have thrown the whole thing off.
She went through his medical report. Var had spent some time in a bacta tank earlier, mending broken bones and injured organs. Now he lay in a bed, still unconscious. Lori just needed to check up on him. It was the same that she'd do for anyone else that she was close to. But the disguise was neccessary. She didn't want to get into trouble. She didn't want Var to get into trouble. Whatever caused the fight needed to be known by her. She heard one side of the story. Now it was time to hear the other side.
That is if he woke up anytime soon.
Lori had some spare moments and so she used them by his side, sitting on a stool next to his bed, watching the monitors closely.
