Vaulkner was embarrassed in front of his entire power base and lost his hands in the duel. He was not killed because he was a PC character, and the OOC arrangement prevented his death. Otherwise, Asemir would have killed him.

Thanks! That thread, the entire War of Darkness story, to be honest, was a joy to be a part of. Halomek was quite gracious in allowing Asemir such a role in the epic story. And it was a challenge to pull off the fight scenes; it had been quite a while since I've written in such talented company. The War of Darkness was very entertaining, and allowed me to develop Asemir in ways I had not thought possible.

Hopefully, I'll be able to bring the same quality of writing to SW:Chaos. I just have to overcome that pesky thing known as writer's block! :lol: I want to write, but I've no inspiration to actually write.
