Hello Darkness, My Old Friend...

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
Seeing her tactical thinking worked and her Force Push hit the woman's leg perfectly and created a distraction, her lips curled into a smile as she continued running towards her all aggresive acrobatic style, preparing to jump and get a big advantage on the woman. She felt bad hurting her like this, using such a dirty tactic, yet this was a duel and in a real duel people wouldn't care if the tactic was dirty or not. And also it was payback for the lightning! Yet, as the mind attacks went, her defences were indeed very strong, every attempt she tried to get to know her brain, was destroyed by Sio's mental fortress' defences. She would have known, since in the past when they were in Nima's thoughts, Sio was the one that saved her from the dark claws of the Host Lord. Yet, Nima didn't give up just yet on her mental attacks, and sent a little mind blast to start the siege of Fort Kerrigan! Well, even in such a time she always had time for little jokes. No fort was untouchable, and no mind was safe. Also, speaking of the mind rape, she wondered how Sumiko was doing. It was a long time that they didn't contact each other, the last time was Midvinter. Anyway, enough thinking, she was now in the perfect position to make a jump towards her, and enhancing her speed and power to get there very quickly and not give her the time to recollect, she jumped, holding her lightsaber away from her body, ready to swing. But.... plans never worked in real life as easy as they worked in the mind, right?

So, as she was preparing herself for an attack, she let her guard down, and that was when Sio's big telekinetic shockwave hit her directly in the chest. With her speed and Sio's telekinetic force, she stood still in the air, couldn't move an inch. Sio's attack putting so much pressure on her chest she couldn't help but to gasp for air, but couldn't do anything. There, several bones were already broken. After a second or two, Sio's attack came stronger and she was launched towards the lake with such speed that she looked like she was flying. Well, she would be the first flying Twi'lek, thanks to her. Before she could laugh at her own thoughts though, the flight lasted not very long and her back crashed into a rock, which stopped her little moment very violently. She couldn't breathe but cough, there was blood coming over her mouth and she was in great pain, which made her let out a moan out of the immense pain she was feeling. And now she was very wet, which was indeed very bad because, as the physics said, lightnings and the water didn't get along very well. Things weren't looking good for her, yet being her own determined self, she wasn't out of the fight yet. By taking strength from the rock that almost broke her back, she slowly regained her balance. Then, she used the Force to concentrate on the battle yet again and jumped on the rock. She was pushing herself a little too much, but it was worth it, since she was having a good time.

Now, the illusions would start since she knew direct confrontation wouldn't help her but to hurt herself. Now, feeling all the Force energy around her, she concentrated on this energy and re-shaped it to her imagination. The Force energy started to get together and create a shape, which resembled the Twi'lek, she could say, almost looked the same as her. She would create exact copies of her to confuse Sio, which would give her enough time for a breathe. Pulling out the small rocks under the lake, which was like 20 or something, with the Force, she sent them with a hard Force push, which, the other Nimas did the exact same thing as well, so even though only 20 of them were real, Sio would see a hundred rocks coming towards multiple directions towards her, all of them with the speed of a meteor. The copies of the Nima appeared and reappeared in different directions, with the real Nima moving along them as well, to further confuse her. She was getting tired now, and that was a bad sign.

Like a boulder hurled through the air by a catapult, the little mind blast crashed into Sio's mental walls. For the sake of visualisation, we shall presume it struck the equivalent of a tower in Fort Kerrigan. Boom.

A small portion of the tower crumbled, the metaphysical equivalent of soldiers manning it fell into the pit to their deaths. However, the fortress still stood tall and proud. Siobhan was briefly disorientated by the assault. One might compare it to the interval of chaos an artillery blast can cause on a fortress during a siege. However, the damage was localised. Defences had been dented, but she pushed energy into shoring them up, denying entrance.

Her telekinetic shockwave had hit home, sending Nima flying through the air until she made polite conversation with a rock, which halted her spirited charge. Beads of sweat dripped down Sio's face and back. Siobhan was not the time to hold back, in any battle she pushed herself. However, she was pumped full of adrenaline and enjoying herself, revelling in the fight as she so often did. She might not be the blood knight she used to be, but it still stirred something primal inside her.

Moreover, she was curious what Nima would do next. As it turned out, the Twi'lek didn't disappoint when she went on the offensive again. Sio's eyes had been following the purple Twi'lek when she jumped onto the rock. She felt the familiar ripples as the Force sung the song of power, then suddenly Nima began to multiply! Somewhere it was written that man should be fruitful and multiply. This was probably not what the good book had in mind, but no matter.

The real Nima was seemingly lost as illusionary shapes were conjured up as if out of thin air. This was a technique Siobhan was not unfamiliar with, for [member="Coryth Elaris"] was very fond of it and Siobhan possessed all her memories. However, it would take focus to pierce the veil and discern the real Nima behind it. A massive barrage of both real and illusionary rocks came shooting through the air towards Siobhan, coming from multiple directions.

Yep, Coryth would like this girl. Only a fraction could be real, and so while the Nimas used guerilla tactics, never staying long in one place, Siobhan pulled at the tangled web of the Force in the extremely brief interval she had to manifest a telekinetic shield, as the Force wrapped itself around her in a protective cocoon.

The sheer speed of the projectiles made solutions that required more fine-tuning impractical. Moreover, it would also offer her a degree of defence if Nima tried something else. A split-second later, the salvoes of rocks peppered her shield. Illusions could be very dangerous in combat. The most powerful could result in death, if they were realistic enough. However, these were the most energy-intensive. This was why the average illusion dissipated on contact.

Many rocks crashing against the shimmering barrier were blasted aside through the power of the telekinesis master, much like tennis balls connecting with a bat. Through her power they were reflected back or simply torn into tiny pieces. However, her barrier had been quickly created and thus she did not emerge unscathed. Though the force of the impact was mitigated from meteor collision level down to something more comfortable, a rock rammed into her shoulder.

White hot pain surged through it, her right shoulder felt dislocated and dead down to the arm, blood seeped out from what looked like an unpleasant wound. Her already slightly abused leg gave way when rocks struck her knee. She grit her teeth, as pain surged through it. Inside her mind, the sensation of pain was magnified tenfold. Her mind was telling her that a dozen rocks had smashed into her leg at tremendous velocity and that it would not move. Her chest heaved and her breathing became more laboured when it felt like something hard slammed into it, breaking a rib or two. Her lung did not like this at all. This made her cough and spit blood. Ouch!

Her mind was telling her this. Siobhan closed her eyes, ignoring the sensation of pain that was spreading across her body like wild fires, focusing solely upon the Force. Her mind was a liar. The pain was only as real as she allowed it to be. The painful throbbing inside her skull heralded the start of a bad headache, as it seemed her head was spinning, as she exerted herself. Then suddenly the Force surged through her being and she leapt high into the air.

Several Nimas were trying to pin her down, but only one was real. There would be threads of the Force connecting them, leading back to the puppeteer who was pulling the strings of the fake ones. For just a moment, she thought she could see her, perceiving her aura.

Power and aggression filled Siobhan, a miasma of the energy of the Dark Side, as a pious Jedi would call it. Pain continued to wrack her body, but now she was directing it ouward to make a weapon of it. A pure, massive wave of unadulterated telekinetic energy rippled from Siobhan. It took the form of an area-of-effect shockwave. One that was even stronger than the last one she'd summoned. It blasted across the battlefield in a wide radius to hit like a tsunami of power. When dealing with illusionists, area-of-effect was always the best.

The plan seemed to be working, as she continued to appear and disappear between her creations, never stopping in one part. She had a terrible ache everywhere, but she had the determined personality which wouldn't be broken that easily. While running, she never looked away from the woman, since she was pretty curious about what her next move would be to escape from this barrage of small rocks. She felt the energy was changing as the rocks drew closer to Sio, slowly forming a energy field around her and protecting her from both the reality and the illusions. Her lips curled up slightly, forming a little smile, as she watched Sio being all strong and deflecting the rock in such professionalism. Unfortunately for Nima, her illusions were only illusions, they had no connection to the real world so the smallest touch would destroy them instantly, so only a few of the rocks, which were real, would hit the woman if she couldn't manage to deflect them. This move of hers gained her some time to recollect herself and control her breathing, since every breathe she took started to hurt her lungs, with each breathe she felt like a thousand of needles piercing her skin. This was going to hurt a lot when the adrenaline went away, wasn't it? Her thoughts were distracted as she heard the sounds of rocks hitting several places of Sio's body. She felt terrible seeing Sio hurt because of her, blood coming from her mouth and all, and almost broke up the fight to ask if she was okay, but suddenly met an angry high flying Sio. This was bad, right? She immediately took a defensive position, placing her illusions towards the woman to act as a temporary shield if she tried something. Well, she did, and it wasn't what she expected.

She suddenly felt a big energy wave in the area growing and growing each second from Sio's own Force energy, like every atom of this energy was exploding like a nuclear bomb. Whoops, that was bad, pretty bad. As she saw the energy so strong that she could see visibly it was coming directly towards her and her illusions, there was no time to react and run away from this. She tried to control her illusions and made them run away from this massive death trap, but instead she watched them take a very distorted look with the effect of the shockwave and disappear slowly, as they... died... one by one, she felt like she was being cut by a lightsaber, it hurt so much that it was almost unbearable, she could barely conceal herself from shouting in pain. It looked, and felt very real, since they were her mirror images. It was not very pleasant to see herself in such state. But, returning to reality, her temporary shields were destroyed in seconds, as the massive shockwave continued coming without losing one bit of a speed towards her, she had to think something quickly or the same thing would happen to her. Tick, tock, tick, tock... She had an idea, but she didn't know it would work, she had to act quickly. So, taking strength from the rock and enhancing her legs with the Force, she launched herself towards the woman, hoping to outrun the shock. Yet, as always the things didn't go as planned, the shock, caught her chest, putting a very big pressure on her ribs that she almost felt they were stabbing her internal organs. She couldn't breathe, blood spilled over her mouth in such a way that she almost looked she puked blood, but she seemed to get away from the shockwave's area of effect, pushing herself upper and upper until she could get a hit on her, then did a flip, dancing in the sky, which hurt like a ton indeed since her ribs were broken but she got that feeling out of her mind, collecting momentum from her air time and sending a pain enhanced Force Push directly aimed to her chest, eye for an eye they said. Also, she realized her lightsaber was nowhere to be found, maybe got lost because of that deadly shockwave.

If the attack would connect, it would create a shock value and sudden pain, which would make her job easier to have a good attack on her brain, since physical pain would bring along the mental weakness, or something along the lines. She experimented on, well not voluntarily, this subject a lot in previous years, it always seemed to work on herself. Sweat dropping like crazy, she was having her training of a lifetime. Nima would be very serious in her trainings and wouldn't hesitate to take risks, unlike the Nima she was showing to the outside world when she was in her free time. She knew that Sio could see the obvious difference between that Nima and this.

The shockwave hit home, banishing the illusionary constructs and also getting Nima good. Siobhan could sense that the Jedi was weakening and probably in great pain. However, Nima was still in the fight and not giving up. This was good. She could see a definite change compared to the woman she'd met in the garden on Voss not so long ago.

Siobhan was still in the air, gliding through the sky like some sort of latter-day war goddess bestriding all that lay beneath her. Or a Dark Phoenix ripoff. She breathed in heavily, having expended a good portion of her energy to manifest the telekinetic wave. The rush of the wind kissed her skin as she ascended through the sky, then Nima unleashed her Force Push.

The concussive burst of telekinetic energy slammed towards Siobhan like a battering ram. Sensing its coming, Siobhan shot upward and twisted in the air, bending her body so that her chest was less at risk. Power rippled through her as she answered the Force Push with her own telekinetic power, using it as a barrier to block the assault. There was an epic crash, like a thunderclap, when the two forces connected. This prevented her lung from getting badly abused, but the backlash was tremendous. Siobhan had not been at the height of her game after manifesting the wave, and so upon collision she lost control over herself and was sent tumbling down towards the ground.

Bang. Her toned form caused a rather large hole inside the ground. Ouch. Her whole body seemed to ache, though her power had kept her from getting squished. Fortunately, she'd landed on soft grass instead of impacting upon a rock. The Countess coughed, and greedily sucked in air since it felt like the wind had been knocked out of her. Her leg made itself heard by voicing its protest about how upset it was her when she got to her feet. Ouchy! She spat out blood. There was a loud, sickening crunch when she righted her dislocated shoulder.

Pain shot through her body like a sharp knife, but stand she did. The sensation of pain stirred something primal inside her body. Nima was still in the fight and probably about to launch an assault of her own, but she had to be weakening to a degree. The power of the Dark Side arose inside Siobhan. She opened her blood dripping lips, and a single blasphemous word left her tongue. The expression on her face could only be described as feral.

"̵̥̺̓̊K̴̠͉̝̖̮̬̈́̎ͪ̑́I͚͗͟R̶̯̳̺̬ͧͯ͊͗͞Ḁ̭͈̻̖̥̒̅̆͌ͪ͠Ż̢̘͉̬̭̑̀͋́͝Ḯ̗̯̜͎̲̒ͨ̋̎̽̕!̵̵̳̘̥͗̈̍ͭ̐ͭ̂ͮ̕"͕̪̞̜̳̫̯̟͒ͤ̀̀̋̏ͬͣ͛͠

Suddenly the sky above them seemed to darken. Her eyes were a fathomless obsidian, like twin black orbs, as her power manifested a storm of yellowish-orange tendrils of consuming energy, each rich with an aura of nastiness and evil, that sought to jump the gap from her hands towards Nima, being attracted by her aura. Rather than adopt a simple frontal attack, she went for an encirclement technique like with her Sith Lightning assault earlier. It was said that you could only truly learn Force Drain if you'd experienced it first hand. If that was the case, then the Bando Gora, Velok and Darth Vornskr had been Siobhan's teachers.

The snake-like tendrils swam almost gracefully through the air, but they were heavy with a feeling of pestilence and pure wrongness, as if any life they touched would wither away. Their very presence tainted the hallowed grounds of the Silver Temple. Darth Nihilus' hunger had been such that he consumed entire worlds, leaving behind mere husks. In the end, he had been ruled by it and this had been his downfall. Siobhan was obviously not that far and did not desire it anyway since she wasn't an omnicidal maniac. What she intended to do was to latch on to Nima like a leech, and siphon away her power, draining her while ideally strengthening herself.

As expected, Sio made a counter attack towards hers. She was pure power, pure freedom in Nima's eyes so she admired the beauty above her as the woman flew in the sky like a goddess. Not needed to say, this scene would be very different if they weren't dueling each other. Her force energy met with Sio's with a big speed, the energies tried to dominate each other for seconds yet at the end they couldn't. The pressure that they applied to each other was too much at that time and Nima could sense the anormality of the extended energy, not that much later thus they exploded like a bomb on each other, in that case there were two bombs, sending the two towards the ground with a big boom. Nima tried to soften the fall with her own Force energy, yet the impact was too strong to be controlled. So, as she crashed to the ground with such speed, she created a very big hole, possibly breaking more bones. Luckily she fell down to her back, there was no damage to the face, which, if she fell, that would immediately ruin all the qualities her face had. Her face looking directly to the sky as she was still laying down and trying to breathe between the coughs and the blood, she was almost out of energy. "Come on." She said to herself weakly. "Don't give up. You can do this." Always the determined, she knew she had to try until she fell unconscious. Her everywhere was aching as she made an attempt to stand up, she closed her eyes and tried not to think about them. Pain, was a state of mind after all. And at the past she had her skull broken and all that painful stuff, so this situation wasn't worse than that. With a final push from the ground, she finally regained her balance, and let out a sigh. The difficult stuff done, she looked at Sio.

She was indeed as hurt as herself, and she felt very bad for hurting her like this. Yet she knew that duels were cruel, and usually to the death when in case with a Sith. Besides, that was the deal of trainings, right? As real as a real fight, to be prepared for when it comes. The first reason being that, the second was, she didn't want this to be about herself only, to be the only one to benefit from this duel. That was why she was giving her all, so, this training would be as useful to Sio as to her. She tried to find her lightsaber around, but there was no trace of it anywhere. The massive energy wave must've carried it wherever it went. And Voss was indeed a big place, so she had only little chance of finding it. "You... owe me... a lightsaber." She said weakly yet with a smile. Then, she felt the sudden change of the energy in that area, the energy around her was slowly moving towards her. She would be preparing for another Force attack, she thought. So she called in the remaining Force towards her, enhancing herself and letting the Force energy shield her pain and watched her closely. Her expression turned into something... different. Dark, darker and darker. Then, she said those words, that sent a shiver to her spine.

"̵̥̺̓̊K̴̠͉̝̖̮̬̈́̎ͪ̑́I͚͗͟R̶̯̳̺̬ͧͯ͊͗͞Ḁ̭͈̻̖̥̒̅̆͌ͪ͠Ż̢̘͉̬̭̑̀͋́͝Ḯ̗̯̜͎̲̒ͨ̋̎̽̕!̵̵̳̘̥͗̈̍ͭ̐ͭ̂ͮ̕"͕̪̞̜̳̫̯̟͒ͤ̀̀̋̏ͬͣ͛͠

The weather getting colder and colder, she saw the tendrils directly coming towards her. She couldn't help but frown, out of curiousity, yet she knew that they were the things that she should evade, she had a bad feeling about this. So closing her eyes, she focused on the energy that was coming towards her. Eyes were always deceiving, in that matter. The bad thing was, these were different from a simple electricity, they were directly coming towards her, changing directions when she moved. They were directly targeting her, and it seemed like there was no option to evade them efficiently. But she had to try, there was no way that she would let them touch her. They felt like the end of the Force. A familiar feeling from the past. And a feeling that she didn't want to live again. Jumping left to right and using the strength that left in her, she was doing good for now evading those. Yet, the energy seemed turning directly towards her again, again and again. Just about to evade once more, she prepared herself and jumped away from the energy, yet as always, things didn't go as well as planned, and her chest ached as she completed the jump, she puked blood as she lost her balance. Too many acrobatics when you have broken bones were indeed not good for the health. So, she didn't have any chance to react to the upcoming tendrils. And they all hit at once. The pain was not describable, she felt like the Force inside her was being ripped apart from her. She shouted in pain, tears came out as a reaction. She tried to stand up, but the pain didn't let her do that. She felt like she was losing strength. Her eyes closing slowly, out of strength, then an image hit her head. The cold room. Her father's face. And his cold tone.

"If you don't listen to me, you are going to face the consequences."

"no..."

"This is just a reminder of your failure."

"No..."

"You are a failure."

"No!"

She opened her eyes, there was a big amount of energy flowing inside her. An energy that won't let her fail. An energy, that felt like pure power. Sio could see the difference as well, since the energy flowing through her was visible to eyes. A dark, red light wrapping around her like claws, she felt... different. As if she could do everything. The pain being replaced by feelings that she's never experienced before. Dark things. She, taking strength from the ground, pushed herself to get up and looked directly into Sio's eyes. In that moment, Nima's eyes were turned to yellow. Was that... the dark side? Was that how it felt? This amount of anger, this... feeling to fight. Fastly breathing, she lashed with her all might to Sio's mind, sending countless mind blasts to... destroy... her mind. She shouted in anger, tears coming as she remembered those days again. One could visualize it as hundreds of catapults firing at the same time to destroy the fort. It seemed like, Sio just found the secret that needed to be concealed from the world for Nima's own good.

"I am scared." She said broken. The words that she said to her father when he decided to put her to the cold room.

Darkness descended upon their battleground. An orthodox Jedi would've probably considered it a defilement. This belief would not be wholly inaccurate, for anything touched by the Dark Side-conjured tendrils was tainted. Rot had set in amongst some of the plants as they withered, though Sio's onslaught had been focused upon Nima.

But what many Jedi forgot was that the dark side was not some sort of malevolent demon ready to pounce upon naughty Jedi if they misbehaved. It was not a metaphysical, conscious entity. Rather it was what resided everyone, for if sentient beings had no darkness inside them, they would all be angels - and probably not have free will. At least this was one way of looking at it. Nima had acquitted herself well during the battle, even when she was exposed to the lightning that had caused her such pain and trauma on Ziost. However, now she had reached her breaking point and lashed out. One might compare it to a cornered animal, for animals tend to be the most dangerous then.

The flood of horrible memories she was forced to live through were unleashed outward in form of a massive mental blast. It was like the metaphysical equivalent of a cry of agony. Hundreds of catapults fired a mass of enormous boulders at Fort Kerrigan. The castle had already been attacked before, but those attacks had been like pin pricks. Now it was the real deal. Mental boulders were crushed in mid-flight, but there were always more and they mercilessly crashed into the walls and towers.

Soon the first towers crumbled and collapsed, holes were blown into the outer walls and soldiers manning the defences fell to their deaths, screaming in agony. The screams of agony rose up to a deafening crescendo, as if they were a cry to the heavens. Siobhan felt pain...horrible pain as it felt like her mind was being repeatedly hammered. The Countess dropped down to one knee and covered her ears as she tried to rally her defences. Strain was etched across her face, blood dripped down from her nose and she was breathing heavily. Her legs felt like they were paralysed and refused to move when she tried to get up. Her body felt like it was shaking badly.

She grit her teeth, her eyes looking like twin black orbs. Fortunately for Siobhan, her Force Drain onslaught upon Nima had succeeded and filled her with energy, though this had also backfired a bit. The stolen energy gave her clarity and the ability to rally herself again when the volleys from Nima's siege engines broke through her fortress.

Deep breaths, focus, use the Force. She was Siobhan fething Kerrigan, conqueror and defiler of nations. Her mind was hers alone. But...Nima was her friend. With an Eldarai curse upon her lips she pushed back powerfully against the onslaught, matching a battering ram onslaught with another one. All the energy Siobhan had absorbed needed an outlet before she burst and so she found it one. Her power was directed towards smashing into the catapults and utterly destroying them, wiping her mind clean from the hostile influence that sought to drag her down into the abyss. Siobhan stood alone upon the ruins of the walls, as a great storm raged across the fortress, seemingly sucking everything into the vortex. However, she stood amidst the chaos, battered but unbroken.

Briefly her storm-wracked mind touched Nima's. After all, it was a two-way street. "Nima, I am your friend."

"I am scared."

These three words from Nima did not escape Sio's mind due to the connection between them. The woman would feel a telepathic brush against her mind, accompanied by Sio's weak empathy. Her commanding mental voice was loud enough to be carried across the storm. "You're strong. You've proven that. I don't want to hurt you any longer...but I will if needed. Stand down." Even though her legs were shaky and it hurt to move, Siobhan forced herself to stand and limped towards the confused, presently yellow-eyed Twi'lek. She was ready to fight if needed.

Tick, tock, tick, tock... She stood there as she saw her attacks hit, she wanted to feel bad. Very bad even seeing her like that. The fact that she was here just for help and she was doing... this? She felt like the worse person in the world. Yet she didn't say anything. She was so surrounded by these new feelings that she didn't want to stop. This feeling... Her curiousity about the other side of the Force led her to this. And she wasn't going to lie, it felt pretty good. Yet, of course, the Dark Side wasn't a demonic entity that consumed people and turned them into demons. It wasn't anything like that, she was still Nima, but a pissed one. Oh, how she wanted to return to Academy days and re-take those defensive techniques now instead of staying at home waiting for her stepdad to come. But there was no turning back to those days now, it was too late. Yet, it was not too late for learning them now, right? There stood her, with Sio who looked concerned for her friend, who was remembering those memories and the pain that caused her, filled with anger. Like all the emotions she has concealed before from the world were being thrown all over the place and it felt very freeing. Yet... there was something wrong. By seeing Sio looking at her like that, was she too far gone?... She blinked several times, her hands directed towards Sio and her breaths still going so fast. She didn't understand. Wasn't it what she wanted? Wasn't this feeling what she was curious about? Why did she... hesitate now?

I am your friend.

She felt a gentle brush to her mind, her negative thoughts, her own being. That was the reason. The person she was opposing, wasn't a Sith, wasn't a bad person, wasn't her father. It was Sio, her friend. Even though she didn't hesitate to destroy her mind, she was still trying to help. That was when she realized she was going too far, even though she thought it was normal. "Sio." She said, with a serious tone, as she saw the woman coming towards her. This tone would give a wrong impression. "I am your friend too." She slowly lowered her hand, which was aching for a fight, but she was in control. In that point her icy blue eye color was coming back, and the dark energy slowly decreased to none, leaving the girl and taking the strength away that it gave. She still felt the heat of the training though so she couldn't slow down the breaths, even though the anger slowly passing. She looked at her, examining her as she came closer and closer, she looked not good, not good at all. And it was all because of her. "I am sorry. I didn't want to hurt you like this... I... That was not a very pleasant memory... I... couldn't control." Another excuse for her own weakness, yet she learned something very important. She learned how to activate this extra power. She met the Dark Side, and with training, she would learn to control it too. "I... think... I need a hug." She said smiling as the remaining tears fell down from her face to the ground. From I want to kill you to I need a hug. Now that was a development!

What exactly constituted the Dark Side and what led you into its embrace seemed to change every season. Personally, this writer has trouble understanding why Luke chopping Palpatine's head off would turn him evil. After all, blowing up the death star and killing more than 300, 000 people didn't do it! All those stormtroopers and civilian contractors just wanted to earn a living...by working on a planet-destroying space station. This one believes that Palpatine was senile by then since he was eighty-six.

Siobhan stepped towards Nima, crossing the distance. The Force Mistress was clearly injured and walking with a visible limp, but still carried herself with authority, projecting a strong aura. "Don't apologise. You did well," she spoke, wiping away some blood from her lips. Presumably if Sio had been a Jedi she would've given Nima a kindly lecture. However, she wasn't, so saying that using your negative emotions to fuel yourself was bad would obviously be weird for her.

"Training is about limits. Both those of the student and the teacher. They exist to be pushed. Any bruise suffered in training might mean one less limb lost in actual combat. Come here, sweetie," and with that she pulled Nima into a hug.

The woman always projected a strong aura, even though they kicked the poodoo out of each other, she was still a beacon of strength, meanwhile Nima was about to faint if she moved one more inch. As the woman came towards her she didn't lose her smile. "Don't be modest, Sio. You wrecked me." She said laughing, but then she coughed out of pain. She didn't know how many days she was about to spend in a kolto tank, yet it was worth it. As the woman pulled her for a hug, she closed her eyes out of relaxation, now that was better than a Force Push or Force Drain, even though it hurt her bones the same.

"The training was very useful to me. I learned some important information. I have so many questions, though." She said, then continued. "The feeling I witnessed. Was that the Dark Side?" She asked with a curious tone. The Dark Side was, indeed something very unfamiliar to her. With every meeting she had with it, she didn't have a good experience. Last time she felt like this was in Rhen Var influenced by a man possessed by a Taung spirit. That resulted a broken skull for her. "And Sio. Thank you very much." She would understand why. Sio wasn't a Jedi, she wouldn't lecture her for something that the Jedi wouldn't do. Nima, wasn't an ordinary Jedi either. She never hesitated to try something else.

Truly a winning argument. Ouch. Walking kind of hurt. So did hugging the Twi'lek. Siobhan felt like she'd really earned a massage and lots of fawning from her harem girls. Admittedly she always felt like she deserved that, but now she had an especially good reason! Nima could have one, too.

"True, but you still did well," Siobhan spoke, panting a bit. "Got speed, determination, use your illusions intelligently. That's something to build up on. I have a friend who can help. You need to work on defensive powers. It'll spare you pain and energy." Her tone wasn't lecturing, just matter of fact.

Releasing Nima from the embrace, she patted her on the shoulder. "The feeling of overpowering rage, of being indomitable and able to do anything through sheer will alone? Desire to hurt your opponent no matter the cost? Of pain turning to strength? Yes, that's what Jedi would call the Dark Side."

"Thank you, I am happy if I was a decent opponent for you. It's not fair if only I got the fun from this duel, huh?" She said with a sincere but playful tone. Getting a praise from someone who punched a Cthulhu in the face was indeed an important thing for her, yet of course, she still had her weak sides to develop, as the woman stated as well. "Oh I know. I wasn't a good student back then, missing all the classes of Academy. And you can't guess what the subject was when I was absent." She said, jokingly. And the friend she was talking about, she remembered that they've talked about the person before as well, yet she couldn't remember when. So, playing with her lekku for a second, trying to remember what was the name, she failed miserably. "We talked about your friend before, if I remember correctly. Can you remind me who the person was? With all the dominions, missions and all I forgot." If her friend would help her, she would gladly accept that. The pressure on her bones decreased as their hug ended, she let out a sigh. And then, Sio told her that she indeed felt the Dark Side. It was a different feeling for her, one that she wasn't that much familiar with.

"If what I felt is the Dark Side, then it is something I'll need to work on, I guess. If I can't control the rage when it hits, I would hurt people that I like as well. But I got the idea. The Dark Side isn't that scary when you directly face it, as the others fear. If someone controls it well then it would be a good addition to the fort. Oh..." Speaking about the forts. "How's your head? I think I was too harsh on you with the blasts. I can help you fix it if you want." She asked to the woman, with a smile but a small worry as well. She had the catapults, but she had minions that would help rebuild as well, studying in the mentalism, one of the first things she learned about was to heal the mind, instead of attacking. Which was a first for her since she always cared more about offense. And by doing this she would use the remaining little Force power she had, which would make her collapse in exhaustion, but she would insist on this idea since it was her fault to begin with.

For just a moment Siobhan wondered what a dominion was. Had Nima been playing kinky games with Domino the blue Twi'lek? Admittedly Sio wouldn't mind, though she'd feel a bit sulky about not being included!

"Word of advice: Don't worry your pretty head too much whether the rulebook says something is dark or light. Just do what's right. No killing innocents, no consorting with Sithies, no turning on friends. That's more important than your colour scheme." Probably not the most nuanced response, but rather down-to-earth. Purple poetry had never been her thing.

She brushed Nima's offer off. "Head'll be ok, don't worry. Been hit worse. Nothing some fun with harem girls won't cure. As for my friend, her name's [member="Coryth Elaris"]. Rogue Jedi, kindest woman I know, but kicks arse when she's pissed off enough," she wiped some blood from her face. "I can give you pointers on defensive powers, you know."

Whoops, the writer should've been more careful about the fourth wall breaks IC, anyway, Nima would totally invite Sio if she wanted to play kinky games. No one would be a better player of that game than Sio! Anyway, moving on with the story. She listened Sio and nodded about the little dark side talk, she was totally right. For her, the methods weren't important if you were doing something right. Also, fearing something that would help you in your quest, would be a very bad tactical move. "Agreed. As long as it's used for the right cause, it shouldn't be that bad. Besides, you are using the Dark Side, so that's a very good example for me to prove my little theory." She said, smiling. Then, Sio revealed the name of her friend, oh right of course, [member="Coryth Elaris"], she remembered talking about her now as she heard the name. "If she has time for me, I would gladly go visit her one day. Any help would be appreciated." She was indeed still new in the illusions business, and she would gladly take the offer if it meant she would develop her skills more. She was a bit sad that she didn't take the offer, that she could help her fix her mind, yet of course, she had something else in her mind.

"You know, there are... traditional ways to fix your mind. And I am sure I am better than some harem girls." Well, Nima was herself around Sio, and the shy girl walls weren't that effective when she was around her so she would say whatever came to her mind. The talk of help didn't go unnoticed though, and she would accept it. "It's a beautiful day outside, we've got a good view behind us and we are all bloody and sweaty after a harsh training. Shouldn't be coincidence." She walked towards her, held her hands and then kissed her passionately, on a short time's notice, leaving no time for Sio to react. Well, Nima would be the one to surprise Sio this time! She still had the heat of the previous feelings that she felt, and that heat had to leave her body somehow! And she thought the best way would be this, besides, healing of the mind and all that stuff! She would be the tomato if something happened like that before, and now she was the one doing it. Siobhan was indeed a good influence on her confidence. "Besides, I would use a good... distraction from all this before we start the other one." She said playfully. Wild Nima was on the move!

Being around Siobhan was a sure way to go wild! Unless you were [member="Phylis Alince"]. For some reason she was immune to her undeniable charms. Probably because she was just playing hard to get and being a troll. Or she was really that uptight.

It was accurate to say that Siobhan was caught off-guard by the kiss. She gasped, her open mouth presumably offering entrance for Nima's nimble tongue. However, it only took Siobhan a very short moment to process what was going on and immediately reciprocate the kiss.

"That's a lovely idea, pet," she purred and kissed Nima heatedly, pulling her close while her other hand stroked her lovely lekku. One imagined that both would not be wearing anything soon. No better place for some passionate lovemaking then the now peaceful forest after a long round of carnage. If a Jedi walked in on them, well, Siobhan wouldn't care. If they were cute and not a prude, they could join in. If they were a Code-spouting, preachey drone she'd just toss the interloper into the lake!

After a few seconds, she felt Sio's tongue joining the little game as well, conquering Nima's movements like a true predator. Well, she wouldn't expect less from the lovely woman, since she was indeed much more experienced in these situations than her. She gave the woman control, and let her play with the tongue as much as she wanted. After all, it was Sio's little healing process so she would try to make it as good as she desired. But she was glad that it was her that surprised her this time, and amused indeed for how the things worked out from a dangerous duel to this. That was why Siobhan was very fun to hang with, she always had her ways to make a painful process enjoyable! Their passionate kiss ended as their lips departed, and Sio talked, which put a big, playful grin on her face. She was full wild mode now, no turning back. "Oh, my teacher is the best." She said, her voice was cut here and there by the slowly increasing breathing speed. Then Sio pulled her for another kiss, stroking the lekku and knowing exactly where to touch to get the blood flowing! A small moan escaped as she moved two little steps backwards as her hand continued to play with the legendary firemane, then let herself fall to the ground pulling the woman with her. Luckily she landed on the grass, and Sio would land on her. It didn't hurt as much as her previous falls, but of course the hurting would be healed by the powers of space magic, since she was interested in the pleasure right now, which would clearly be seen from her face.

She felt like the time for the black curtains of censorship would slowy descend on them soon, for the sake of the little kiddies reading this very thread. But they still were fully dressed for now and they were just having fun, so the curtains would wait a little more. Oh, and she didn't care about the audience this time, since caring about the audience wasn't good for the moment. She let herself go with the flow of the things, as she should do the last time they tried in public as well. That was one of the important lessons that she learned from Sio too, and she was glad that she's met her, she was always a positive influence on her and taught her many things and gave her strength to do anything she wouldn't do before. Hell, if someone said that she was going to have "fun" over the lake with a beautiful lady, with a possibility of being caught by someone else, she would just go all red and run away, and possibly wouldn't leave home for a week or something, and look at her now!

"Indeed I am!" Siobhan declared, sounding terribly smug. Modesty was not a virtue she possessed. In more ways than one. Nima fell on to the ground and Siobhan fell with her, landing on top of the beautiful Twi'lek. That was undoubtedly a position the Countess liked! "You're a good student."

She giggled girlishly, then went right back to lovingly fondling Nima's lekku while kissing her with all the passion she could muster. Presumably there was tongue. For a moment the aches her body was still feeling did not matter. Nor did all the problems that plagued the galaxy. Or the mountain of paperwork she had to deal with. She was simply happy and sharing a beautiful moment with a good friend. Well, probably more than just one moment. There was no audience aside from some birds and a few frogs at the lake, both of which probably had other things to do.

They were indeed having a good time, with no audience to stop them and only with the voices of nature and calm, which was indeed better for Nima and she felt at home, so she enjoyed this moment more than she panicked. Besides, she was with her favorite redhead, what could possibly make this a bad experience? The two ladies continued kissing each other with a big passion and lots of fondling were shared between the two. It seemed like she forgot all her problems for a while, even the thoughts of her father seemed nothing to her as they continued, looking at the woman's passionate and beautiful face, she couldn't help but smile either. "Told you this place is the best." She said as the kiss ended, only to pull her in for another. The clouds of censorship was indeed getting eager to go down on them, as they continued to descend towards the two. Always think about the children, the clouds were whispering. And they got even angrier as Nima's hands went for the woman's clothing slowly. "It's getting too hot here, right? Let me help you about that." She whispered playfully to her ear. So she was only helping her get rid of... the temperature that continued to increase... for 'some' reason! Then, the clouds of censorship fully descended upon them, censoring all the fun that they could have. That clouds were a bit mean, but of course, children's minds were important. Even though killing and dismembering were totally okay and that wouldn't hurt their psychology, but logic was logic! Anyway, the writer decided to stop talking. The clouds would ascend back to the sky in the next post, but a good amount of fun was had in that moment, one could say.

Verily, the clouds were very mean. As for the kiddies, this one thinks they ought to be doing something useful. Like their homework. Or go pick up a gun and randomly shoot things for no apparent reason, since apparently brutal violence is totally family-friendly.

"Aww, you're such a good pet," Siobhan purred happily. It was indeed becoming very hot. Moreover, she was feeling rather sweaty. Fortunately not in the 'oh, gross, go shower!' way since that would've been a big turnoff. However, she was feeling extremely lusty and that feeling only increased when Nima's fingers went for her mud and dust soaked clothes. Then the magical black curtain descended from the ether and obscured all the fun that happened.

An indeterminate amount of time later, the curtain lifted and the audience could once again look upon the ladies. Siobhan was lying in the grass, feeling very spent, baked in sweat and very happy. There was a glow on her face. If Nima had rested her head on the Countess' chest, she would find it a comfortable pillow. After all, the Dark Jedi had a magnificient bosom. The kiddies need not fear, for her breasts were covered again. "Now that's my idea of a good workout," Siobhan spoke most cornily, pulling Nima into a kiss.

As their little fun ended and everything went back to static, the annoying clouds of censorship slowly ascended back where they belonged, leaving the scene to the two ladies laying down on the grass, Nima's head on Sio's chests, and yep, there were like puffy pillows which made her headaches disappear. She smiled as she was pulled to another kiss by the lovely predator, joining her immediately tongue included. "That was definitely worth all the pain." She said playingly after their kiss ended. "And I didn't get a panic attack this time so that's a big win." She laughed softly as she let out a sigh of relaxation with this little moment with the woman she met only a little while ago yet thought she knew her for years. That was a different, but indeed, a good feeling. Sio was the only one who saw the real Nima under all the masks she wore, after all. Shyness was the biggest wall to conquer for her, yet Sio would destroy it in seconds since she was strong, one more reason to admire her. "Told you this place was great. It is so lonely that you can do whatever you want without someone noticing it." She loved this lake, since it kind of represented herself, the loneliness, the freedom and the thin line between the two. Well, no mather what she was so different than ordinary Jedi, she still loved some of their philosophy. "Well, I think they noticed all that. We weren't very quiet." She giggled. Anyway, moving on, she slowly stood up, not before landing a kiss to her of course, that would be pretty rude not to. No matter how lonely the lake was, indeed someone should've heard the voices of the intense duel that has happened minutes ago, and she didn't want them to see them... you know... pretty much naked and all.

She quickly fetched her underwear, and wore them quickly, yet things suddenly went south as she couldn't find something valuable in the pile of clothes. There was something missing. She searched under her clothes, and examined the area quickly. It wasn't around. "Oh no... Come on. Come on come on..." She said to herself, her eyes continued to search for the lightsaber. Yep, from all that adrenaline train, she forgot totally that she lost her stepfather's last gift to her, well, it couldn't be called a gift since he didn't mean to give it as a gift, it was the only thing that the rescue team found and brought to her. From that day she always carried it as her own weapon and found strength from it. And now it was gone, and remembering that she lost it in the big tornado that Sio created, she thought it was gone for good. She let out a sigh, this time a sad one and some tears started to appear in her eyes. "I lost my lightsaber..." She said, her tone was indeed a sad one. If Sio didn't know about all the deal about why she was all afraid of losing it, it would appear pretty weird for her since Nima was about to cry for a lightsaber. Well, the girl always had some emotional swings here and there, so it would maybe appear normal as well, she didn't know.

"You're so adorable, you know that," Siobhan purred. There was something rawly sexual about the way she purred those words. Something lewd, sensual and very satisfied with herself.

She was a bit slower than Nima when it came to starting to put her clothes back on. Partly because she was a strong exhibitionist and didn't particularly care about people walking in on them. Partly because she preferred to laze around and admire the view. After all, Nima had a nice butt!

However, then the mood suddenly shifted. Confusion crossed her features when Nima looked like she was about to cry about her lightsabre. Admittedly emotional swings were not unusual for the Twi'lek, but it was just a lightsabre, right? Alas, Siobhan was unaware of the emotional significance the sabre had for Nima.

"Uh, what's wrong?" she asked lamely. "I lose mine all the time." It had reached a point where Siobhan no longer bothered with building custom lightsabres and just used trophies. "I'm sure it's somewhere here. Just, uh, gotta look." She got to her feet and tried to be helpful by looking around. While wearing nothing more than her undies and a bra.
