You probably picked the worst person to ask that of, so you might want to wait for others to pitch in. I think I've submitted on fewer than five occasions in my time here.

Essentially it's an opportunity to create things for yourself, or to make them for others to buy. It could be as big as a planet or as small as a hold-out blaster. Some things require more 'development' than others. Often you'll need to write a thread to create something or to use a rare material (or both).
