Hello SWRp Chaos :)

Firstly, thank you for making an amazing site like this for for starwars fans like me.

Secondly, while I'm not new to Rping (I've done my fair share) I still consider my self a newbie and would welcome any criticism to help me improve.

Thirdly, how does one make a Jedi/Sith character??? Should I make an untrained force sensitive individual and seek out a lightside/darkside master? Or are we allowed to make a Sith on the get go and just add training recieved on my character's bio?

With all of that said thank you :3

Hola! Welcome to Chaos :)

One can make a Jedi or Sith should they wish to, we have no rules anymore. Personally, I've always preferred starting as an untrained individual who then hangs out with a master. However, should you wish you can start your character as a Sith Lord or Jedi Master.

Any other questions, just feel free to mention me :)

First of all, welcome to Chaos!

As for your question, there are many ways you can do it (We are all about opportunity and choice). You can start as a Force Sensitive and see where the wind takes you, or you can start as a determined Sith Acolyte or Jedi Padawan, or even a Knight, or if you think you have the stones, a Lord/Master.

Personally, I like to start as a Sith Acolyte in a Sith Faction (say, The Sith Empire), straight out of the academy. From there seek out a master (and various teachers) and fight my way to power.

Welcome!!! always good to have more people on here, hope you have fun

As others have said you can do both. You can make a untrained person who seeks a master, or a padawan just new to an order, though make sure to give them a nice back story. If you wish you can make a knight or master/lord character straight away, but I would highly recommend working with other experienced writers to make a very detailed bio describing how your character got there position and why. As we have hade quite a few random no name Sith Lords and Jedi masters pop up here and there with very bland or lore wreaking bios.

I like to make padawans and untrained people off the bat myself, makes for a more interesting story and allows your to build your character and get a better sense for the lore of the site before doing anything big.

Thanks [member="Kei Raxis"] [member="Darth Ophidia"] [member="gdsryrox"] and [member="Varas Kyrel"] for the warm welcome.

I've decided to start an apprentice all thanks to your inputs. Getting started on making a detailed backstory now.

Again thanks

Hello and welcome to Chaos.

I'm not so much new as my current post indicates, but I am starting this character here with the last level of force sensitivity that I had role played on other boards. Sort of like continuing my saga, but in a different time line. It is something to consider if you have a certain character that you liked to write and wish to bring them on here. :)
