Here comes the obligatory 'hello' and introduction of someone who's really bad at meets and greets!

I'm Chuckie, in my 30s; I'm an artist, singer, writer and gamer.
I literally stumbled across this link by chance, but thought 'this looks like an actually active place' and hammered the register button with the fury of a thousand suns.

Emphasising me being a SW (and general SF) nerd and hungry RPer appears somewhat redundant considering I'm already here writing this, but I'm big into worldbuilding, alien cultures and languages in particular, so I suppose that's what you can expect of me.

So yeah, happy to make new acquaintances and meet everyone!

I will definitely do.

I have one (technically two) questions already: I've seen that we can pick factions - Do we have to decide for just one? Aido by default cooperates with pretty much anything sentient enough, so I was thinking about maybe making a little selection.
And potentially related: I saw some people listing their race - Is this another faction we join or is this a different selection I just have not found yet?

And yes, I did draw this picture of Aido myself. I'm happy you like it!

You can join multiple factions :)

As for race, that's not related to factions. Mostly just the species/race of the character and you're free to pick anything from star wars, or even make your own

Okies, let me list.

1. You are not restricted to only one faction and you don't even have to be in a faction at all, but flow as an Independent contractor. It just helps a little in the beginning to be in a faction to just get a hang of the ropes of the site. You are not restricted to just one character either I have an outhouse full of characters myself. Chaos is a sandbox so you can go ham.

2. Do you mean the little squares below the avatar or on the bio-templates? The little squares you can select under "Flair Chooser" in the little dropdown of your character picture at the top of the site. The bio-template is just listing the race/species as character information.

I suggest taking a peak at the Getting Started Guide to get an idea of stuff.

As for the flairs - Thanks a lot for the clarification. I saw some similar terms before and assumed they were from the same pool to pick! :3

A home for worldbuilding nerds indeed sounds like a perfect fit, and yes, I think I already have a question:
So I read that there are no characters below 13 (iirc) permitted, which is fine and cool with me. I brought Aido's adult daughter in for a plot with Willow Fletcher Willow Fletcher , but also in the original character concept for Aidoann, she has a full rugby team of all sorts of interstellar brats, am I permitted to mention them in threads or are children in general off the table in this forum?
