Heron Crawl was a Jedi born on the world of Chandrila. He was found by Jedi Master Ohognh, a Wookiee on the world investigating a series of criminal attacks on peaceful gatherings. Together, the young Heron and Ohognh took down the criminal network, though the Jedi Master sensed a darkness within the youth, a darkness that showed itself in his savagery against the criminals. Fearing what he might become one day if left to his own devices, Ohognh took Heron as her Padawan without approval, and began his training.
Heron would go on to become a leading member of the Jedi of his time. His wisdom, combat abilities and proficiencies within the Force earning him much adoration, though Ohognh, and other Masters feared what this attention might do to him. Even after he finished his training under Ohognh, the Wookiee kept tabs on Heron, though he would never step too far out of line and maintained the Jedi Code and ideals in everything he did.
Until Tython.
What events happened on that world are widely known to the modern galaxy, but what Heron himself did, is uncertain. All that is known is that when he returned to the Jedi, he was changed. He began taking more and more extended assignments away from the Core worlds, and eventually, stopped coming to the Jedi Temple altogether. What he has been up to in that time is currently unknown.
