Brie nodded quietly in response to her friends encouragement that she would eventually find her parents. She put the thought aside, like she had so many times before. It was much easier to do so when she were around friends like Daiya and the others. Brie could focus on living in a way she had felt pretty much forbidden to earlier, and she hoped that her parents would feel she was okay. Since a couple of days ago, she had a sister to hope for that they sensed too. Daiya put the exact right words on how Brie felt right now. Lightened. Relieved. Free. Happy. All of those feelings in a completely new shape. Their true shape.
''You always got an idea...'' Brie giggled as Daiya fumbled after something in her satchel, completely ignoring the fact that Brie had said thanks but no thanks to her suggestions on a tattoo. Which was totally alright, and Brie knew it was fruitless trying to stop the younger shadowrunner when she had decided of something.
Helplessly, Brie patiently awaited the drawing and let Daiya concentrate on it for a minute. As the creation of Daiya were revealed, Brie studied the quickly but skillfully drawed heart of teal and red.
''It's pretty! I have to admit that.'' she confessed, as the drawing elicited a smile and nod of aproval upon her face. Brie had never even considered a tattoo before, but this might just change her mind. The question was what Ruby would think of it. She might think it was all cheesy and stuff. ''I will think about it, yeah.''
''Oh! You're right!'' Brie added glancing at the chronometer, after Daiya had made her aware of the time. The two girls really had pulled an all-nighter so easily. They both were basically ready to go to sleep and because of what Daiya had told her, Brie thought she would offer her best friend company in the other end of the sofa. She wanted to be there just in case Daiya suffered some bad dreams tonight, but hopefully she were more filled with joy now so that she could fall asleep peacefully.
''We better try to get some sleep, don't you think? Mind if I sleep in the other end?'' she asked and cuddled over to her end of the sofa and grabbed the one of two blankets that she had brought them. If Daiya gave her consent, the two girls would soon fall asleep to the quiet hum of the generator in the otherwise silent ship.
