GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Holocron Name: Holocron of the Damned
  • Alignment: Dark Side
  • Origin: Darth Moskvin
  • Affiliation: Darth Moskvin
  • Gatekeeper: When activated, a ghostly image of a young girl appears wearing a tattered ceremonial burial robe whilst her face is born of systemic macabre stitches, hair stringy and matted in some places. Her exposed arms are pale and patched with festering sores; veins a midnight black, fingers broken and twisted in painfully awkward angles. Her personality is callous and unforgiven; her voice toned in guttural screeches; but understandable when she speaks of the holocron's contents. Her eyes always watching.
  • Description: Created from Lava crystal shards, which gives both its hot to the touch and ember glowing illumination, and from Impervium; it is shaped into cube form, whilst boasting skeletal faces intricately designed on the surfaces of the holocron cube.
DEFENSES
  • Accessibility: To access the contents of the holocron, it requires ritualistic blood sacrifice of a young virgin and specific worded incantation. During the ritual, the blood must be washed over the holocron, feeding its hunger for the crimson fluid. The incantation phrase 'From Death Comes Life' must be spoken in reverse wording.
  • Security: The holocron is coated with a thin film of Cruentamque, that attacks anyone touching the holocron bare handed. If the phrase is spoken wrong, it will activate the spell a trio of Smoke Demons that will attack the usurper.

CONTENT INFORMATION

The content contained in the Holocron of the Damned engulfs the topic of Necromancy and scientific discoveries, as mastered and unlocked by Darth Moskvin. The holocron, in chapter form, discusses the several facets of re-animating the dead.
  • Chapter 1 - Sith Magik: Among the ancient knowledge of Sith Magik, there are several applications involving the raising of the dead, fresh and long rotted. Most prominently is the spell Tsaiwinokka Hoyakut which is the backbone of Sith necromancy to the experiments of Korriban Zombies. Even the Dark Side ability known as Dark Transfer worked on the fringes of necromancy.
  • Chapter 2 - Dathomir Magik: The Witches of Dathomir possess their own knowledge of raising the dead, Chant of Resurrection through applying Spirit Ichor. Unlike Sith Necromancy, this spell is temporary, and relies on the caster remaining active, or alive.
  • Chapter 3 - Undead: There are several mystical and mysterious forces in the galaxy that are responsible for creating its own undead, such as the Dread Wraiths and the dark-sided energy filled Animated skeletons for example.
  • Chapter 4 - Advanced Scientific Methods: Even science can play a role in re-animating the dead, such as the case of the Blackwing Virus that created its own living undead, and subsequently to the creation of The Creeping Ghouls.
  • Chapter 5 - Author's Final Thoughts: In the last chapter, it's the personal log of Darth Moskvin, where she discusses in great detail the successes and failures of her creations, and the nature of how necromancy has played an intricate role in her life.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The holocron was created by Darth Moskivn, as both a learning and knowledge-filled tool on the subject of Necromancy. The holocron details her long extensive knowledge of the taboo art, speaking on the various applications necromancy can be used, and the early history of the dark art. She spent numerous hours, and countless seconds of her time to unravel the mystery of necromancy years ago to present day, modifying the spell and the horrific art of raising the dead through alchemizing trinkets, her staff, and other forms of inanimate objects.

The sole purpose of Darth Moskvin constructing this holocron was to leave behind her legacy, for other necromantic enthusiasts to study and learn from the Lady of Death.
