Home on the range (Mandalorian Dominion of Dantooine)

..."Little reason til now anyways."...he would correct her upon hearing her answer and though Naimes was not in the habit of making a point it seemed as though one might benefit from being made here as the two of them were walking together. While they were on a mission with one another it seemed as though either might benefit from drinking the beauty of Dantooine as well which brought him to his other point..."The Galaxy is a large place, Cennika Hawk. You'd do well not to deny yourself its beauty nor the wisdom of looking at if only so you appreciate your home better."...an astute reflection of his own wisdom accompanied that statement however afterwards Naimes went silent. Looking ahead he had noticed they drew closer to the opening in forests, a pathway into the plains where the poachers roamed and the place they had been sent...

...taking his helm Naimes would tilt his head forward before letting it slide over his head slowly then looking back ahead once it was securely in place. Motioning to Cennika he would crouch down, bending at the knees, then move forward more slowly and under cover to make himself more difficult to notice. As he came to the edge of the clearing he'd halt, using the advanced optics of his helm to stare out over the plains where as luck had it he would locate a group of turkeys the same as had been described to him however nothing seemed amiss at this point and so he watched...

...
"Do you see them?"...he asked her, the comms of his helm activating, while he took a knee and observed...

Kal walked calmly inside for a tool kit and began heading down into the bowels of the enclave. He honestly believed mammals pooped way too much. He walked along following the pipe schematics to what seemed to be the first possible problem area and turned of the water to avoid extra mess. 3000 years of life, more wars than he could mention in one breath and what did he prefer to do, building maintenance.

Preliat turned and glared at the girl, rolling his neck, before sliding his helmet back on. He hadn't bothered to look at her yet.

"And he isn't going to be around to bring you anywhere else. Because I killed him."

Preliat replied in a dry, unhappy tone as he looked at the girl.

Ana had been told that it was pirates that that were next on the list of things to take care of. Really, pirates? She always seemed to get stuck having to deal with them. This time it would hopeful pay off and she would find their hidden treasure or something along those lines. The young woman highly doubted it however she could dream, couldn't she? Either way she had decided that she wasn't going to be using the Force. It still at this moment in time gave her a big headache.

As she walk towards where she was told her destination was Ana hummed lightly to herself hoping that one the coordinates were correct and second that the pirates didn't see her first. Ana was hoping for the element of surprise.

Preliat's brown eyes flickered up and down the girl. He reached out his hands. She wasn't much older than Yasha. Yasha, whom he was for sure was dead. Dead because of @Akala.

"My name is Preliat Mantis. They call me The Wolf."

He began to walk back to the Tree.

Cennika Hawk

To his advice she had nothing to say. Her home was both the familiar and the dangerous. Ragged, bloody memory and soothing comfort clashed there, and with those she trusted most being few and far between... Myrkr was a recent decision, and if this man was right, well then she'd already taken her first step.

When he went to knee, she did much the same to avoid being seen. When he slipped the helm over his head, she tied her hair back tightly, then peered in the same direction. She didn't recognize the birds, but they looked to be big enough to feed more than just herself.

"I see them," she confirmed. No, a meal was not what they were here for, but perhaps later... "I can see the merit of protecting the birds. Deprive the enemy of rich sustenance."

At least, this made sense to her.

Pirates were not exactly the quietest of bunches as such as Ana got closer to them she could hear them laughing and carrying on. She decided instead of just right out storming them she needed to be quieter and just watch for now.

Preliat scooped the girl up, shaking his head and glancing around the area, while the little girl was placed against his chest armor.

"I am not an actual wolf."

He didn't sound unhappy, but he didn't sound not annoyed with her, either.

Ana from her location could see about ten pirates laughing about and joking with one another. They each had at least one weapon and sometimes more so. This wasn't going to be easy and she very much wished she had the Force on her side but in this case Ana couldn't rely on that. It was best to just go in as the native little girl. She had always been good at that card. It wasn't what she liked but meh on pirates it really out to work.

Sighing Ana sunk down in her location still trying to figure out exactly what it was she was going to do.

Objective: Slay some pirates

Ijaat wasn't subtle. He had arrived behind the others arrayed as if for an invasion, his armor fresh painted, polished, and gleaming like an avatar of war. As he saw Preliat stomp off, he made for the nearest settlement on his HUD map, walking at a brisk trot any experienced line soldier would recognize as a ground eating, pace saving pace. Arriving on the edge of the settlement, he stood right in full view of a group of pirates currently harassing an elderly woman, and they turned when they heard the A-10 cannon whine and come to life on his shoulder.

"Udessi my friends.. Let the woman go, and we can talk"

"Shove off tin-can, these here are ours now, we got more than enough to ta..."

The man stopped talking as a single tungsten round from the A-10 Turned his head into a fine spray of red.

"I was so hoping you'd say that... OYA!"

And with that, the bladesman drew his beskad and charged, spinning low and to the outside to hack the leg off of one charging pirate, beginning to lunge and dive, hacking off limbs and slicing entrails like a painter might paint happy little trees.

...when he heard what she'd said Naimes would affirm as much by nodding his head a single time however he never broke his observation of the Turkey's. Observing the flock via the advanced optics of his helm he'd have eventually said..."We only kill to feed ourselves. These men kill for sport or pleasure."...neither a fate that an animal was deserving of in the opinion of the Rally Master. Despite being a soldier Cennika might find, if she and Naimes spent enough time in the company of one another, that he had a deep respect for nature and the animals that composed the majority of the creatures in it. It irritated him that some men did not hold the environment in the same esteem as him. Irritated because the Rally Master so rarely became angry...

...it appeared as though this flock was to be unmolested however a sudden sound, blaster fire cutting across the plains, followed by the corpse of a bird falling, smoke rising from the wound, proved otherwise. Glancing over at Cennika then he'd have stated...
"We'll move low and to the ground. Come up on them while they claim their birds."...then Naimes did exactly that. Pressing low to the ground, onto his stomach, he began crawling ahead slowly and making distance out of the forests edge and onto the plains. Using the tall grass where he could to conceal his movements he'd breath slowly, measured, everything was done in moderation as he went forward to make himself less obtrusive and noticeable...

Preliat pulled the girl along, ignoring any questions she might have had, before speaking again. She was nearing the home of [member="Kal Izka"].

"Go to the nice old man. Help him with whatever he needs help with."

He set her down, and ushered her along, and turned and activated his jetpack, skating away. [member="Anne Darkchild"] was left with the Tree.

Ana decided to go in the way she was. There was no way that she would be taking off this armor and playing games. She was no longer that girl nor would she pretend to be.

"RAWR!!!"

She yelled holding up her blade and running head first into the group of pirates.

Spinning, jumping, Ijaat was a wall of death and blades, a mandalorian who had nothing to loose since Nyr had left. Perhaps he should have been more subtle, like the others flickering on his HUD, and stayed back and watched. But shab that... A part of him, growing all the more since he couldn't find his beloved, had wanted death, had courted it like a suitor. As he fought, he began to chuckle first, low and feral, and then laugh, a deep belly roar as his pristine white armor was splattered red and black with ichor and gor.

Wielding the saber one handed now, he threw it, implaing a charging pirate as he drew his hammer from his back and begun swinging, screaming out loud incoherent sounds as he dueled a particularly nasty looking pirate with a wickedly curved vibroblade.

The girl buried her face in the man's shoulder and held still. She slowly fell asleep and drooled on his armor. He could put her down when he needed to deal with the next threat...a Terentatek was hunting her.

The pirates jumped up surprised at the ambush by one pink armored person. A few laughed a little but once she swung her sword they raised theirs and swung back at her. Ana was doing her best to actually fight them off.

Anija glanced outward over the horizon of the planet, situated atop of the rock. Her hair was kissed by the winds of Dantooine, winds that had been through the hair of many others. She wondered of the others, but found solace in the brief peace of the planet. She understood why the Jedi called it home so many times, the tranquility was hard to deny, and even harder not to fall victim to. She took a deep breath, taking in the scents and the fresh air. It had been a long time since she had just...sat down.
