"You will have plenty of time." Vrak told her. "The Palace on Dromund Fel is perfectly safe."

He followed her on the bed, watching her with a weary eye. The Pureblood still wasn't quite sure whether or not she would empty her stomach once again, and he didn't want to be caught with a splatter of bile. When he was sure that she wasn't going to puke, Vrak sat himself down besides her, though he didn't move to touch her.

"You may rest there for as long as you wish." He would have to attend to certain other matters before she was useful again.

Siedra would make her move on the rest of his holdings, and the Council would decide that he had abandoned Athiss. That was untrue of course, but for now it was what they would believe. The Pureblood knew this because he knew how his people operated. They would want what he had, it was as simple as that. A frown pulled at his lips. The loss of his palace and power didn't bother him, but deep down he feared he would not regain anything, though he would never admit it.

The Sith yawned, something he had never done in front of Sera before. "Things will move quickly soon."

The Twi'lek gave Vrak a nod. "I will." She had every intention of taking all the time necessary to rid herself of this noxious feeling inside of her. Hopefully the benefit of these rings would outweigh the terrible sickness she was feeling, the shifting of everything before her eyes and the overload of information sent through her lekku.

"Go tend to your own wounds."

She hadn't forgotten that the Massassi had nearly disemboweled him earlier. That was the reason, she assumed, for the yawn.

That, or he had spent more time than he liked to admit in that woman's prison, and it had actually taken its' toll on him.

"You look worse than me." That was a lie, but she also didn't like to admit when she was at her worst. "I'll meet you back on the bridge when I can see straight, or we land. Whichever comes first."

Until then Seraphina had every intention of sleeping.

For a moment Vrak didn't move. Though Seraphina might have looked worse than him, arguably anyway, Vrak likely felt just as bad. He was still emaciated and lethargic from his stint in prison, and it had only been a few days since he'd managed to escape.

It would be days yet before he was back to his old self, perhaps weeks.

"Whats the matter?" Vrak asked as he slowly peered towards her. "Afraid I'll bite you in your sleep?"

An amusing thought really.

In truth it was difficult to tell which of them was worse off. Even if Sera wanted to right now it wasn't very likely that she would be able to lash out at him. Maybe a light slap, but anything more would be pushing it. At this point he could push her over with a light tap on her shoulder, sending her toppling to the ground in the same way someone might to do with an unruly toddler.

Her lips curled back in a snarl, as though she had considered reacting in some manner. It was apparent to her that even he knew there was little she could do in this state, and so she simply let the idea fade, withdrawing the scowl and returning to a more passive state, green eyes closing.

"I've imagined you doing far worse things to me in my sleep, Sith."

It wasn't unusual for her to worry about him simply offing her while she slept. That had been one benefit of him being locked away in prison. That fear had faded.

Now that he was back? It was probably back on the table, should certain circumstances come to light in his favor. Sera needed to make sure that she was always another step ahead. Even if he had no desire now, she was hardly a stranger to change. Change was inevitable, and eventually, someday, somewhere down the line, she expected his betrayal.

It was to be expected from a Sith.

He chuckled.

"Oh?" He knew what she was referencing of course, the fear that he might kill her. The idea wasn't all that preposterous. At the moment the only time that she was ever truly vulnerable around him was when she was sleeping. At other times she could defend herself well enough. Even now if he attacked she could simply take off the rings and fight him then. She'd be disoriented, but still able to fight.

Not when she was asleep though.

"You should trust me." He said as he slowly rolled to his side, facing her. "Why would I kill you."

He asked. "When I have just given you such nice gifts?"

The bemused smile on his face likely didn't help with her ire.

"Why do Sith do most of the things they do?" She shrugged. "I don't know. I'm a Twi'lek."

The woman scrunched her face a bit, studying him.

"I wouldn't be surprised if you gave them to me simply to disorient me enough to take advantage of the opening."

Sera certainly wouldn't put it past him. It was hardly out of the realm of possibilities.

"I will never trust you entirely." She reminded him. "That would be the worst, and likely last mistake of my life."

He smiled at her. "You can trust me."

That was a lie, probably the biggest he'd told her since they'd met. She was right in assuming that trusting him would be a very deadly mistake. The small smile at the corner of his lips more than told the truth of that, the spark in his eye driving the point home.

"I wouldn't kill you." He reached out and very gently caressed her Lekku. "Not when you're so useful to me."

That part was actually true.

As long as she remained useful, he had no reason to have her disappear. "Plus all the other fun you provide."

He smirked.

Sera wouldn't be able to hurt Vrak, at least not in this state, not now. But the blatant lie assuring her he could trust him earned him a scowl and disapproving head shake.

"You're so full of shit, Vrak."

Her tone, while teasing, was also true. They both knew what he was, and what he would do to get what he wanted. There was no mistaking that. "Don't think of me an idiot. I'll break your neck." She flashed her own deviant smirk, sarcastic as it was.

Sera turned her head, her lekku dragging away from the Sith's grasp, then thrust her legs forward, using her feet to push against Vrak's side and force him off of the bed.

"Now go, before I have to make good on that threat."

Vrak let out a small sigh.

"What a shame." The Sith said as he slowly stood. At another time he might not have cooperated with her request. He would have pinned her, kissed her, taken her, but he was simply too exhausted. His body betrayed him, refusing to work in the way that he wanted. The unfortunate fact of the matter was that he simply didn't have the energy to do as he pleased in that moment, and thus Sera would get as she wanted.

The Pureblood came to rise, though he did not yet leave. Instead he leaned over her, one hand wrapping around her throat and turning her head so she stared at him.

"In time you'll come to see." He told her with a smile, his grip tightening for just a moment. "Now be good and rest, My little pet."

A smile curled at his lips, and she would note what he said as his fingers dragged away from her throat. The Pureblood left her with those parting words, heading out of the room and straight towards his meditation chamber where he would await their arrival, and hopefully replenish some of his strength.
