Vladimir Kirov
Character
Taking cover as his comm buzzed in his ear, someone requesting extraction of him specifically. Vladimir didn’t recognize the voice of the woman, she must have gotten his name from someone at the slowly growing center of their operations he had hastily started before departing to assist the General who was in immediate danger. Really none of that mattered, he had taken command until someone else was able to relieve him, and it was on him to ensure the safety of as many people as he could.
Examining the map that was being constructed as the evac teams spread around gathering more equipment and survivors Vladimir noted the location of Bravo Squad in relation to the beacon that this medical team was broadcasting. They were finishing up at another site according to their reports so they were most certainly in the best position to extract the medical team.
Peeking out from behind his cover and firing a few more shots at the enemy burning down an enemy soldier foolish enough to attempt advancing through the smoke Vladimir thrown to cover the General’s retreat. He got on his comm as he ducked behind cover again firing streaming in his general direction from the enemy firing blindly through the smoke. “To whomever that was speaking my HUD indicates Bravo squad is near your location, they are in the best position to extract you and your people. I am redirecting them now, hold on tight.”
Switching his comm to direct his message to the commander of Bravo squad Vladimir spoke briefly. “Sergeant Walker, I assume you were listening in, take Bravo and extract that medical team, they will be invaluable back at our base camp, with any luck they will be well equipped, I can’t imagine our medical supplies are in good order.”
That handled Vladimir returned his attention to extracting the General and his fellow survivors.

Receiving the message Sergeant Addison Walker simply tapped her comm twice in acknowledgement. She noted the location of the medical team’s beacon on her HUD and adjusted the macrobinocular lens to allow her to see the distance between the two groups. She could see the enemy approaching from the south apparently unaware of Bravo Squad. She got a quick sense of their compliment, they were definitely too numerous to engage.
“Double time Bravo, the enemy is going to be on our people shortly, we need to get there before they do.”
The entire squad broke into a run, charging to rescue the medical team their heavy Tyumen-1 armor restricting their speed slightly but it wasn’t meant for speed and when they got their they would most definitely need it’s power to keep them safe.
Less than ten minutes later Sergeant Walker and her squad were joining the medical team, Addison approached [member="Jeela Tillian"] as the rest of the Squad filtered through the medical team, getting them up and ready to move with as much gear as they cold carry, a full third of the squad taking up defensive positions in case the enemy got the jump on them. “Are you ok to walk ma’am, we are going to need to move out quickly, the enemy is almost on us and I would like to extract before they can organize and engage.”
