Horns, Montrals, and the difference between them. (Aalzorin)

I raised an eyebrow, and smiled.

"So, even if I were to fly to each of those planets, and drag you with me to all the crazy sights, you'll have nothing to do with them?"

Spinning in the chair, I smiled even wider.

"This 'future stuff' as you put it is perfectly common. You'll get used to it, even if you don't understand it."

"I suppose if you dragged me along with you, I'd have to have something to do with them, huh?" she replied. "As long as you don't expect me to use your future stuff."

She decided to engage in some chair-spinning herself, unfamiliar with even that concept.

Laughing as Aalzorin began to mimic me spinning in my chair, I pulled up a picture of Nar Shaddaa.

"So, to the Smuggler's Moon?"

I had a sudden thought, then, that worried me slightly. Almost more than the fact that I'd left my astromech to cook us dinner.

"If you haven't ever been away from that planet you lived on... Did you ever get to drink?"

She eyed the planet in question and observed the strange lights coming from it. How strange for such a thing to occur, after all, what could make lights so big they could be seen from that far away?

She shook her head as her host asked his next question. "Not that alien swill," she replied. "What do I look like, a spaceman?"

I shook my head back, grinning.

"Alien swill, huh? I drink the best stuff money can buy. What do I look like to you? Just to keep myself informed..."

I laughed as she eyed the holoimage of the planet so intently.

"Those lights that cover the planet aren't just lights. There are more people there than bugs on your fine planet."

"I don't believe it," she said. "Nobody could populate the entirety of a planet like that."

"And you look like a spaceman to me," she replied.

I winked back at her, and smirked jauntily.

"I'm not a spaceman, any more than you're a pilot. Spacemen are those ancient idiots who blundered around in suits the size of a small starfighter, trying to build giant telescopes."

I spun in my chair, and held my arms out in a big shrug.

"Tell the Hutts it's impossible. They're the ones who populated planet, and the ones who designed the cities. It's a work of art, and a stain of blood."

"Still don't believe it," she said, rubbing her index finger and thumb together pensively. "And you are a man from space, hence, 'spaceman.'"

I looked over and shrugged again, smiling.

"Well, you'll believe your own eyes, I guess. To the Smuggler's Moon!"

I pressed the intercom, hailing the little droid.

"Set a course for Nar Shaddaa, buddy. Our lovely guest needs a lesson in Hutt stubbornness."

I shook my head in wonder, still mentally questioning how a bunch of Togrutas could not know about space.

"It's the Smuggler's Moon. I'm a smuggler. The moon is that stupid white orb in the sky that follows you around. We're gonna go land on something like that. We are going to drink and walk around, and I'm gonna make sure you have fun, dammit."

I looked over at the chrono, guessing the amount of time, and my guess was confirmed by the navicomp in the watch.

"It'll take a couple of hours, Aalzorin. Go take a shower, or sleep, or mess with the crazy droid a bit, and we'll be there soon. You could probably use the time away from me, by now."

[member="Aalzorin"]

"You're right," she said as she got up and began to wander the ship in search of the shower. Not that she had any idea how to use it.

Fiddling with the knobs on the shower eventually triggered the spray of water, which took the Togruta by surprise. After she recovered from the shock, however, she managed to wash off with relative efficiency. Afterwards, she decided to take a look at this 'droid,' or whatever the horned man called it. She was curious to know if it were some sort of animal, or an assembly of stones with some sort of enchantment on it.

As I walked past the guest cabin, I heard the sounds of the shower running, and had to hold back a laugh. Aalzorin probably surprised the hell out of herself with the shower, something that was even more common than spinning chairs or holograms. I just walked back to my room and laughed as Arty came in and started beeping angrily.

"Well, it's alright, Arty... You're just gonna have to get used to her."

Aalzorin narrowed her eyes and listened to the beeps and whistles that the droid made as it scurried off. She gave up, and settled on finding a small place on the floor to sit down and meditate.

I rolled my eyes at the little droid, and stepped back out to get some more beer, before setting the autopilot to Nar Shaddaa and watching the starlines go by. I could never sleep when I was flying through hyperspace. It was just too quiet, no matter who else I had on the ship, or sleeping next to me. Being drunk before I went to sleep sometimes helped, but not always. Maybe it was just a little quirk I'd picked up from living in the city on Iridonia.

Well, at least it was a pretty view.
