In all fairness tho, I wanna get more going with Jas, develop him a bit further. He's suffered a bit from faction threads getting priority and I'm itching to see where he can go on a more personal level.
So who is Jas Katis?
He started out as a Sith student, as all do, in the Sith Empire. But some stuff happened and he left cuz he likes living. Fast forward a bit and he started to work as a mercenary, eventually working himself up into a commanding position for Hex Incorporated's Hellion Private Military. (I'm on mobile, links be a pain. Quick search will find em ez pz)
So right now that's what he does professionally. He's a soldier for hire preferring to hide the fact that he's a Pureblood to avoid drama. But in his free time he bounces around, developing his abilities as a Dark Sider, looking for someone he cared about at one point, and generally just finding a purpose as a warrior.
What's Jas' thing?
To start off, he hates sith and its ideology and has become disillusioned with it, instead he's focusing on personal gain. His work as a PMC commander gives him prestige, glory in battle, and allows him to pursue his personal gains in his spare time. Kind of a weird situation but hey, nobody's perfect.
He's also got a bit of a racist streak going on for the most part. He tends to look down on humans in particular, but that's gotten better somewhat due to his interactions with them. He can easily come off as selfish and uncaring of others, most of the time that's quite genuine. But every now and then someone comes along that gets him to warm up a little.
So what's there to do?
Pretty much anything. He can be anywhere, do anything, swings in any direction that works for him, he's morally over the place atm so he's not necessarily just a bad or good guy. Tho he definitely is something of a bad guy atm.
He's closed minded but can open up now and then to ideas that tickle him right. Personally I might be open to the idea of him getting something of a moral compass but that's not crucial necessarily. I wanna get him out there with more private threads and see what I can accomplish with this perplexed Pureblood.
