HISTORICAL INFORMATION
House Kadnessi traces its origins back to the early days of Kuati nobility, known for their specialized contributions to starship design and diplomatic vessels. During the Clone Wars, they sided firmly with the Galactic Republic, earning both respect and ire among Kuat's aristocracy.

When the Republic fell and the Galactic Empire rose, House Kadnessi refused to submit to Imperial rule. Their open defiance led to their near-total destruction, with the Empire orchestrating a purge aided by rival Kuati houses. Estates were seized, family members executed or imprisoned, and their shipyards nationalized. Yet, a few members escaped, fleeing into exile where they allied with the burgeoning Rebel Alliance.

Through the Rebellion, the Kadnessi contributed intelligence, starship schematics, and covert support, helping to undermine Imperial control. After the Empire's fall, the family returned to Kuat with the backing of the New Republic, reclaiming their lands and beginning the slow process of restoration.

Over the centuries that followed, Kuat endured numerous assaults from galactic powers seeking control of its shipyards. The Confederacy of Independent Systems, Agents of Chaos, Neo-Crusaders, and others left scars on Kuat's infrastructure and nobility. House Kadnessi weathered these storms, using their diplomatic ties and specialized shipwright skills to remain relevant. While the major shipyards suffered repeated devastation, Kadnessi focused on bespoke, resilient designs, catering to diplomats, Jedi, and independent governments.

This adaptability not only preserved the house through the turbulent ages but also allowed them to reclaim their position among the Ten noble houses of Kuat. Each conflict served as a crucible, reforging the house with renewed purpose. Their archives bear witness to every assault, every reconstruction—a lineage of endurance.

Today, the house stands as a symbol of rebirth, its crest a testament to their survival and ideals. From the stars they once defended, they rise anew, unboken. Ready to shape the future of Kuat and beyond.

Hello!

I will be taking care of your submission today. I have just a few items that need to be covered before we move to approval:
  • A link to the Galactic Alliance faction page in the affiliation category.
  • I'd ask that you remove the @ tags referring to Jaina Kadnessi from the Members section and the Hierarchy category (you may replace them with links to their bios). If that account gets renamed, deleted, or repurposed, it might confuse readers.
Tag me once these items are complete or if you have any questions.

Thank you!
