I nodded to my son. Knowing Lexa would let me do this. I placed my hand on his arm. Slowly the boy would begin to feel the pain seep away as I was controlling his body heat. Moving it so the heat would expend over the entirety of his body in small increments instead of building up and releasing only at his arms.
"Can you feel it. How you are warm all over? Can you try and do that for me on your own son?"
