How/Can I Do This?

I know reasonable ships of any kind I can get, but what I want is a little bit complicated. I'll lay it out, and hopefully someone can help me out or give me pointers to make it realistic or reasonable.

I want to take a Diamond-class Cruiser, and modify it.

I want to put a Hangar on it (2 hangars, to be specifically, on on each of the sides of the front of the ship. Small, of course).
Can I have 12 fighters?

I also want a Droid Factory inside of it, and Ship Salvaging Equipment for my ship like a grabber arm and access at the back of one of the sides for it to take in Scrap metal from salvage operations, or to take in hauls of metal from mining (No mining equipment though).


What I expect the outcome to be is... very tiny cargo space. And what that means is if I want to build Droids, I need the metal, and I'm stuck with limited supply of that. Nothing too big! I wanna make B1's out of it... And I was hoping 12 fighters and 2 shuttles.

Sound like fun! I don't know if you can, but if you can somehow manage to get a cruiser, the rest is very easy; just dev-thread it, re-sub it as a personal ship, show proof that the cruiser is yours, and you're good to go!

(also if you want someone to RP with, i volunteer. :p )

Well, I'm pretty handy with some tools, and I personally had hoped to salvage one, except I have no idea where they'd be, or where ship graveyards are. Along with all the technical difficulties of a semi-repaired ship! And even with it being a cruiser, it's a tiny cruiser, I think it was the CIS transport before their mega uber transport. That brown, H-on the side thing.

The vessel you've linked is fairly lightly armed.

The information you'd need is in the starship template under "Frigate"



Hangar: (Please provide the amount of fighters this submission can hold in it's hangar by count of Squadrons, which hold 12 average Starfighters. The higher your squadron count, the lower your Armament and number of Special Features should be. This submission's Max Squadron Count: 2. Optionally, Feel free to provide a list of names for your squadrons, like the notorious Red Squadron. Alternatively, you may swap squadrons for Vehicles or other items of note.)
Two squadrons is fine, you could certainly do some small scale manufacture. You should note space will already be at a premium in a 200m ship.

I would suggest keeping the armaments nice and light like the original version and you should be fine :)
