One question I have, though, is how often people look at the faction's home page? Does there need to be more updates on news pertaining to the faction on it, or should it be more of a splash page for new members looking for a faction?

We could actually do with a little more useful info on that page, to my mind. Where we might find the Sith (Korriban, Ziost, Dromund Kaas etc), what they're currently up to as a Faction - things like that, so new arrivals will have some idea of where to start, what they might be able to do in order to really participate.
