How to Glowstick (101 Lightsaber Class)

[member="Julius Sedaire"]

Sooo...

I just saw this thread. If there's still any openings I would love to join in on the form training. My droid learning a couple of the lightsaber forms is definitely one of my long-term goals.

My droid has knowledge/programming on sword training, but knows next to nothing about lightsaber forms.

[member="Singularity"] - I realize Canon has a few droids wielding lightsabers. General Grievous, etc... However, I really don't know that this setting is going to be the best to teach you, as you are going to need to be taught without the Force empowering you, a huge difference from the rest of the class. Maybe after I get some flex in my thread count I can teach you, but I'm not sure this thread will be what you want.

No problem haha. :) As I said learning to fight with a lightsaber is one of my long-term goals.

As my characters personality grows and develops naturally through roleplaying/threading with everyone, I want my droid to become inspired by sith/jedi/witches/etc, and try to imitate them in some ways. I have a lot of tech ideas rolling around in my head right now for future droid upgrades which will need development threads haha.

While he'll never be able to use the force; and as such will never be on par with a trained force-user; I hope that I can develop him enough somewhere down the line to at least give someone a run for their money. ;)

It always kind of annoyed me how often droids were disregarded and treated as little more than cannon fodder in star wars. With access to that level of technology and enough time, effort, funding etc., a droid should be able to do so much more than they do.

[member="Darron Wraith"] - I can't even right now. Away with you :p

[member="Singularity"] - I agree, and would be happy to teach you. I even have lightsaber training droids you can work against or study for upgrades. I just am not sure this thread will be the best avenue. If you're really set, we can do it up here, but you may get more bang in a thread with singular instruction.

I would love to do a 1v1 training thread with you in the future when; as you said; you have room/flexibility thread-wise. :)

If there's anything I learned playing D&D with friends, the adventures and interactions you have are 2/3 the fun, so I'm not in any hurry haha
