Anyways, factory is a nice footnote... but that's really all it is. I sub a thing when I find a muse or have a creative thought. Most of the things I make, I make for others to use as they please, with the occasional lightsaber or armor for myself, mostly for show and characterization.

Never bothered with the Arms Race because subs can't make a person a better writer, it's an amusing crutch though.

I create stuff for the sole purpose of creating stuff. I love to create. LOVE IT.

I NEEEEEED IT.

But other than this character, I really don't use anything I create. It isn't a crutch for me. I mean, it's probably a crutch for Triam because she's a tech whiz, but that's okay. People respect her capabilities because her capabilities aren't "IM STRONKER TAN U NOW DEI" they are "I have this useful thing, and I use witty prose with it to demonstrate how I counter your witty prose with your thing."

If you have 100 guns. They will build 100+1. If you have a tank that can destroy a moon, they will build a tank that can destroy a moon+1. If you have a ship that can block ion cannons, they will just build ion cannons+1. ...You can't win.

I have rarely loved something as much as I love these lines.
Now excuse me while I go hide all the ideas for factory submissions I've ever thought of under the bed. And by under the bed I mean somewhere else because if I told you where I hid them they wouldn't really be hidden and the point would be gone.

In case anyone was wondering, even if you had a gun that could vaporize a target on contact and shot someone point-blank in the face and tried to force that other person to die/lose/etc/whatever it wouldn't make a difference.

They'd click the report button, the sub would be pulled, denied, and you'd get a PM from an admin or RPJ so fast you'd think time froze for you.

Factory is for fun and fluff, it is entirely optional for a reason.
