Intent: A personal armor for Akio Diachi
Development Thread: Here
Manufacturer: NPC Sith and Jedi
Model: N/A
Affiliation: Personal
Modularity: No
Production: Production: Unique
Material: alchemized Akk hound leather
Classification: Multi-purpose
Weight: 9 kg
Quality:
Lightsaber: 10
Blaster: 10
Blades: 8 (Slashing negated, see bellow for details)
Impact: 0
Slug throwers: 5 (Piercing negated, see bellow for details)
Special Features:
- Lightsaber proof
- blaster proof
- Air purifier
- Does not deteriorate with age
- Very “loud” grey force Aura (see description for further detail under weaknesses)
- Corruption; due to its very unique nature, this armor cannot be worn by a person of exceptional goodness or evil. If it is worn by a being of either extreme, then it will severely impede them; clouding their thoughts, making it hard to rely on the Force, slowing their body, until they come to equilibrium with its Force Alignment; grey.

Description:
Strengths:
-Lightsaber proof, blaster proof, blade resistant
-Light weight
Weaknesses:
- Zero kinetic defense; while this armor is blaster and lightsaber proof, as well as blade resistant, it does nothing to dampen any damage dealt by these weapons or any weapon. The results can be broken bones, internal bleeding, medical trauma, and even death.
- “Loud” Force Aura; beings that are force sensitive in the least will sense this armor coming from a mile away. It makes it impossible to hide from them while wearing this.
- *When a slugthrower or blade are used against this weapon, all the piercing or slashing damage is negated. However, the full front of kinetic impact is dealt to the wearer resulting in brusing, broken bones, internal bleeding, and/or medical trauma.

Local lore holds that a Jedi knight long ago came in contact with a Sith; they were trapped on Haruun Kal in the most dangerous and uncharted parts of the planet after a crash during a space battle. Ordinarily they would kill each other before they teamed up, but these were no ordinary pair. The Sith was not exceptionally evil and the Jedi was not exceptionally good.

For the sake of survival they teamed up together and made two pairs of armor for the hide of Akk hounds they killed in defense from these beasts. According to the legend, they alchemized, Force imbued these suits of armor, and poured all they could into them for several weeks so they would have a chance to survive when they searched for safety. The legends hold that both sets held both the powers of good and evil, resulting in neutrality. In truth, the Force had been imbued to it in only neutrality, neither light nor dark. At last the armors were completed and they both began a perilous trek to safety. Along the way they fought to protect and save each other, what had started out as unlikely allies turned into the two men falling in love. When they escaped from the dangerous portions of the planet each were told by their orders to choose either love or their religions. Both men retreated into exile, getting married and becoming hermits on the planet. But it was not to last. Sith and Jedi both hunted them down, seeking to destroy this armor. When the men were killed, one suit of armor was found, the other could not be discovered. It had been sold to a local for the land they had. From there it passed form hand to hand over several centuries, until it was lost in a cellar, only later be discovered by Akio during a fight with an assassin from his past known as Kuroi.

I can understand this has resistance to lightsabers and blasters, based on the material and its treatment through alchemy, but the above doesn't make much sense. When you are shot by a slug/bullet, there is kinetic damage done. Bruising, breaking, so on. A slugthrower imparts impact damage, essentially, so stating it has absolutely 0 protection against impact while having 5 against slugthrowers doesn't make much sense.

Keep in mind 0 impact resistance is like wearing a t-shirt, or something along those lines. Someone throwing a rock at you, for example, is going to effect you.

[member="Braith Achlys"] All the kinetic damage would follow through from the slug thrower--resulting in severe bruising, broken bones, and internal bleeding when appropriate (obviously a .22 wouldn't cause internal bleeding). However the material wouldn't tear. The same applies for blades; full impact damage would be dealt, no piercing damage would be done.

I added a notation of this onto the description. If it needs to be changed, tweaked or otherwise reworked for balance, then I am ok with that.

@Akio Diachi

Sorry, just a bit confused.

Per canon here is the following regarding force imbuement based on alignments:

"Further, objects imbued with a particular aspect of the Force - be it light or dark - could actually become so saturated as to make their very presence intolerable to those of opposite alignment. "*

Could you elaborate how two different sets of armor are imbued with both the light and darkside of the force to turn neutral when the above quote comes into play?

How does this even work?

Well I kind of figured it would be like mixing paint; black and white making grey, where it is neutral, if that is alright. I was just hoping to make something that was neutral in that respect. The light and dark side imbuedment is purely for story sake, has no bearing on anything aside from that; I was hoping to later use it as an illustration akin to his quest from his days as an assassin to his current days as a monk. If that's not ok, I will change it. :)

There are instances where the Force is balanced in a neutral fashion. That is fine.

While the story is just for fluff and is great, I'd rather it say that it was more myth than actual reality based on canon lore. If you could just add that it is a hearsay story and that in reality, the armor was crafted to be balanced with the Force in neutrality, that's fine.

I just rather avoid the confusion of people thinking that having items imbued with the Force from both aspects can neutralize each other.
