Noah had never really relied on droids much in the field, except for the few sentient ones he had known in his travels. Non-sentient droids had a habit of rubbing him the wrong way, so he learned skills that these droids usually filled which in this situation happened to be demolitions work.

As she followed him he made sure she got a good view of what he was doing: where he was placing the charges, how he was placing the charges and what exactly he was placing the charges on. He came across one crate that caused him to grin. "Ah, rhydonium. The illegal miners, terrorists and mercenaries explosive of choice. Easy to source, highly explosive and rather simple to modify. Of course it is also rather unstable..."

He listened to her speak about her childhood and nodded along, when she asked about his own he smiled in thanks. "Coruscant born and raised, Level 1781. Mom was a Mandalorian bounty hunter and dad was a Morellian who worked for the Republic. I'm the oldest of three, dad left a little after my little brother was born so I help raise him and my little sister. Once I was of age? Joined the army, became a commando and the rest is history."

After he finished talking he finally planted the last charge and quickly shut the crate he had put it into before pulling out the detonator and syncing it to the charges. "Alright, charges placed and synced to the detonator. We're good to go. Check the door and make sure nobody's out there."

"Unstable? I assume it's going to make quite the explosion, then." she chuckled softly while she observed the way he planted the charges. It was unlikely that she'd really find herself in a position again where it was going to be necessary, but it never hurt to learn a few things about these types of things.
Following him to another box of explosives, she smiled and listened while he talked about his own past, "That definitely sounds a lot more interesting than my past. Outside of Jedi training, there's nothing really to it." she smirked and watched him close up the crate with all the charges set. Almost instantly, Valery's demeanor became more serious again — they were about to draw a lot of attention with this, so they had to be sharp.
"I'll check," she said and quietly, she made her way up to the door. Luckily, nobody had come looking for the guards they took out yet, so they were all in the clear.
"We should be good to get moving. I assume we'll need a lot of distance to be safe from this blast."

"Unstable usually isn't a good thing that you want when mixing explosives, in this case however it actually helps us. An unstable explosion will look accidental. Accidental should put them somewhat at ease...until we open up on them. Speaking of that..." Trailing off Noah quickly keyed his comm to speak with the squad they had left back on the ridge. "Razor 3-1 Actual come in over."

It was only a few seconds before he received a reply. "Reading you lima-charlie Overlord, send traffic." Noah knew the answer to the question he was about to ask but just wanted to make sure before he made any plans. "You've been watching the patrols right? When is the next one set to come through?" A few seconds of silence followed, most likely conferring between the squad members.

"You've got two and a half minutes. After that it'll get dicey..." Noah nodded to himself and walked over to one of the corpses, dragging it to the door as they were about to leave. "I don't know, Jedi training sounds interesting honestly, never experience it myself, a few family members and friends have said its overrated though."

Just as they were about the make a run for it Noah made sure to prop the corpse up so its foot was sticking out of the closed door before looking towards Valery Noble Valery Noble and inclining his head toward the ridge. "Alright, lets book it."
