Hyperspace is a Blast

Minna studied Gray as he spoke, trying to figure out the motives behind his answers. A large focus on freedom, but that's to be expected with his background, she supposed. His answers were probably mirrored by many outer-rim folk. They've all got reasons to hate the Hutt Cartels and the Core Worlds.

"To achieve this perfect galaxy," she noted, trying to keep any emotion from her voice, "You'd have to go to war against a group of people, and take away religious freedom, for the sake of peace and freedom." Minna grinned, only a little gotcha in her tone. "It's a bit weird when you think about it, don't ya think?"

She untucked her legs, simply crossing them in front of her. "I don't know what my perfect galaxy would be. Maybe..." She had to take a second to think. She'd never really thought about it either. "That the wars ended. And that people were free to do what they want."

"It's vague, I know. That's why I'm not a leader. I don't have grand plans for the galaxy. I'm just living in it, and that's what I want." She stared Gray in the eye, trying to impart some lesson she didn't quite grasp either. "There aren't any easy answers. Nothing's simple when it comes to the galaxy. If it were simple, someone smarter than us would've figured out what to do by now."

Minna smiled, and stood up from her seat, arching her back, and trying to lighten the mood. "Not to say I'm not a hyper-intelligent genius. Because I am."

True enough, Gray's vision of an ideal galaxy wouldn't be possible to make without conflicting with his principals. Both jedi and sith would have to be broken up and disbanded, and they wouldn't do that willingly. Many other groups would also be forced to disband, most likely with war. So this dream would never come true. "Touché," he replied to Minna stating this.

He listened to her telling how her Perfect Galaxy would be, and it wasn't very elaborated. But it was good Points, and quite like his own. No war, and everyone were free. But it would be almost impossible to fully achieve this. There would always be someone who wanted to have Power over someone else. And war could break out by as little as one nobleman not bowing deep enough to the king of a different planet.

"Yeah, it's not simple. But it can feel good to just dream away and imagine that the Galaxy was as you want it to be, ir only for a moment." He stared back into her eyes. And he felt what she meant. It was hard to explain, but he could feel what she meant by the Words she said.

"Only problem With 'someone smarter than us', is that they usually don't care for People, or stopping the war. Smarties only care about themselves or Money." At least it was like this in Gray's experience. Everyone smart he had met had been doing their job to earn Money, or gein influence With someone more powerful. "Unless you mean smarter as in knowing what's best for People, and how to achieve that. In that case, I've never met any."

This would be the first time he heard of a Bounty hunter reffering to herself as a 'hyper-intellignet genius'. Most of them cared about how to take Down their target, and get the most Money for it. And that could hardly be called genius. But then again, Minna wasn't an ordinary Bounty hunter. "Well then, hyper-intelligent, enlighten me." He only wanted to tease her. "I expect you've heard of Han Solo, the rebel pilot. How did he manage the Kessel-run in 12 persecs?" It couldn't be answered. That record still stood, from what Gray knew, so she couldn't know the answer. But it was fun to tease her.

Minna felt a spark of warmth in her chest. It was good to imagine. To hope. To dream, of a better place than where you were. "Yeah. If only for a moment," she said, simply.

Gray made a good point. One that Minna hadn't thought about. Still smiling, she cupped her cheek in her hand, and leaned on it. "Suppose you're right. It might be up to us. A smuggler and a bounty hunter." It was a pipe dream; unrealistic. And if there were one thing you needed to know about Minna, it's that she was a realistic girl. But she could dream. And she could wish.

Then, he challenged her. He challenged her. Minna's smile sharpened dangerously, and she focused suddenly, her intensity betraying just how much she loved competition. She had heard of the historical figure Han Solo, and his most famous stories. "Pfft, an easy question for my superior intellect." Minna punctuated the claim with moving her hands to her temples, as if using mind powers on him.

"He lied." She leaned back, crossing her arms in success, over-performing her result. "I mean, he was a smuggler. He wanted to gain a rep for his ship. Doesn't take a genius."

"Why? do you actually believe he did it?"
