  • System Features:
    • One pale yellow dwarf star: Tira
    • Three moons: Nema, Kelun, Velis (Velis being sacred to the Hysalrians)
    • One gas giant and two barren sibling planets further out
    • Hysalria has a rotational period of 30 standard hours and an orbital period of 402 days
  • Location: In the Sluis Sector, between Bpfassh and Tibrin
  • Major Imports: Processed alloys, energy cells, starship parts, information tech, medical supplies
  • Major Exports: Bioluminescent mosses, pearls, swamp teas
  • Unexploited Resources: Bio-electric algae fields, deepstone veins (Force-reactive crystals)
GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
  • Gravity: Standard
  • Climate: Tropical/Temperate Swamp; constant humidity; storms common during certain seasons
  • Primary Terrain: Swamps, flooded forests, misty glades, sunken temples, labyrinthine cave-lakes, bioluminescent bogs, floating gardens
  • Atmosphere: Type I
LOCATION INFORMATION
  • Capital City: Ysil-Than, a low-built temple-city of stone and water channels, half-submerged in the mists of the inner marshes, now largely abandoned.
  • Planetary Features:
    • Primarily wild and rural, with only scattered settlements and enclaves
    • Interconnected stone paths float atop woven reeds
    • Remnants of the Velis-Tha Enclave, an ancient Jedi-Spiral training centre
    • Spiral Pools: sacred meditative whirlpools said to mirror the state of the soul
  • Major Locations:
    • Velis-Tha Enclave: Sunken and half-ruined Jedi monastery built in harmony with Spiral Way teachings. Still faintly imbued with Light Side energy.
    • The Cradle of Mists: Natural Force vergence, constantly cloaked in spiralling fog. Used for the Spiral Rite of Descent.
    • Elder Shell: A massive, fossilized spiral shell formation that serves as a temple and oral memory archive, still protected by a handful of surviving Hysalrian mystics.
  • Force Nexus (Optional): Yes
Intent: To serve as a spiritual anchor for the Spiral Way
Nexus Name: The Cradle of Mists
  • Nexus Alignment: Light
  • Size: Medium
  • Strength: Moderate
  • Accessibility: Hidden deep within the Mistlocked Glades; requires spiritual guide or attuned Force sensitivity to locate. Publicly known only to Spiral Way adherents.
  • Effects: Amplifies introspection, dreams, and memory recall. Some claim to relive past lives or forgotten truths when meditating there. It soothes the mind, calms emotions, and reveals inner spirals of fear or love.

POPULATION
  • Native Species: Hysalrians
  • Immigrated Species: Minor settlements of off-world explorers, a few Force mystics, rare traders and archaeologists
  • Population: Sparse - No more than a thousand natives and immigrants collectively scattered across the planet.
  • Demographics: 98% Hysalrians, 2% other species that have integrated peacefully. Immigrant species are seldom seen in Hysalrian communities, but tend to be on friendly terms with them, often engaging in trade. Though naturally cautious, Hysalrians are welcoming to those who respectfully come in peace. On very rare occasions, an alien especially gifted in the Force may be invited into the circles of the Spiral Way, but this is a rare occurence.
  • Primary Languages: Hysara (native tongue), Galactic Basic (spoken slowly, often accented)
  • Culture: Daily life is slow, reflective, and ceremonial. Most inhabitants live in elevated reed huts, stone meditation chambers, or caves. Life revolves around memory rites, meditation, and following the Spiral Way. Singing to the swamps, writing in water patterns, and recording dreams are cultural practices. There are no competitive sports; instead, Hysalrians engage in spiral duels (ritualised, slow-paced martial exercises), sculpture, and watershaping.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
  • Government: Elder Conclave (consensus of spiritual and regional leaders; no single ruler)
  • Affiliation: Independent; Neutral; maintains only informal contact with galactic governments; officially a part of Sith space.
  • Wealth: Low (intentionally minimalist; economy exists in trade and spiritual exchange rather than profit)
  • Stability: High Deeply peaceful society governed by spiritual principles and slow council consensus.
  • Freedom & Oppression: Very high freedom; social expectations are more spiritual than legal. There is no formal criminal justice, only community mediation or spiritual exile if needed
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military: None. There is no formal standing army. However, Hysalrian guardians and Spiral Way mystics are formidable martial Force users when necessary
  • Technology: Galactic Standard in tools, but applied in low-impact and bio-harmonic ways (e.g., growing buildings, crystal-light systems, etc.)
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Hysalria has always been hidden and protected by its mist-veiled terrain and spiritual resonance. Settled solely by the native Hysalrians, it remained undiscovered by the wider galaxy until Jedi explorers encountered the Velis-Tha enclave centuries ago. Intrigued by the Spiral Way, a small Jedi presence began integrating during the era of the Old Republic. The Sith later razed Velis-Tha in search of relics, and the survivors retreated into silence.

Since then, Hysalria has faded into legend. Jedi archives mention it in passing, but most galactic maps omit it. Its waters are deep, its past is layered, and its people remain serene, watching the spiral of the galaxy turn, knowing all things return in time.
