I Am Your Master Now [Sanus]

| [member="Sanus"] |

For the past few months, Darth Ayra had been in contact with a lesser Sith in regards to setting up some form of alliance, where the two of them would work together. The Sith in question was a former member of the New Order, an Imperialist faction that had risen in the former territories of the Sith Empire, before it had collapsed during the invasion of the Galactic Republic and Mandalorian clans.

The Sith in question also happened to be the master of a young Zabrak named Sanus. Ayra knew of the boys existence, but hadn't yet spent much attention to him. All that she knew was that the boy would be accompanying the Sith at their meeting, during which the Sith Lord would assess as to whether or not Sanus's master would benefit her. He wasn't a member of the One Sith, as she was, so she found the Sith in question to be fair game if it came to murder. She decided that she would kill the Zabrak too if it came to that.

The setting was Coruscant, in a cantina in the upper echelons. Ayra had requested a private room for the two of them, including Sanus, to meet and discuss future events. Would he join the One Sith? Did he follow the grand vision of the Dark Lord of the Sith? And more importantly, was he an asset to her? Dressed in a Sith robe, with it's cowl lifted over her head, Ayra waited for Sanus and his Sith Master to arrive.

I read your biography and it says that you have been under the tutelage of an NPC Sith Master, so I thought I would introduce him to the thread and go from there.

Sanus followed behind the tiny man that was his master as he thought about the last few months and how the man had begun to irritate the young Sith. He would often talk down to Sanus and demanded he be called Darth. Which was actually hilarious to Sanus as if an Acolyte calling him Darth would make the fact more real. The only reason he hadn't killed the old man is he hadn't had a good enough chance as the old man was an amazing force user. The two times he did attempt to kill him the old man had forced him against the wall and shocked him it had been painful but it would only increase his hate for him, and so in a way the old man was making him more powerful.

Back in the moment Sanus and 'Darth' Lancelo entered into the cantina a serving girl quickly approached and showed them to the room. As they entered in Sanus noticed the serving girl quickly scurried away. He looked around the room taking in the woman in the Sith robe. So she was the one they had come to meet. He quickly looked around the room checking to see if any others were there in case things led to a fight. His master went and sat across from the woman as he stood near them. He was wearing his normal Sith armor/cloak he knew he had only been asked to come because his master wanted him to look intimidating. "Hello Alicia" his master said.

The hooded Sith Lord turned away from the transparisteel window she had looking through, watching the various Coruscanti eating, dining and conversing on the outside. Coruscant was now the capital of the One Sith, taken by them after their sudden appearance and swift invasion against the Galactic Republic. The war had reached a stalemate, as the One Sith searched to consolidate their space, but an invasion of Manaan would be happening soon.

Her thoughts were turned to Lancelo. "Hello Alicia," he said, reclining into the vacant seat. A table was situated between the seat and another, which would host Ayra, if she choose to sat down. As her hands lifted to the cowl of her robe, she studied Lancelo quietly. "So he has figured it out," she thought, as the hood was lowered onto her back, revealing her face. "Our correspondence over these past few months have allowed him to uncover the lies and make a connection between myself and my alias."

Alicia Drey was her birth name, but her real name was Darth Ayra. To the One Sith and other Sith associates, such as Lancelo, she appeared as Darth Ayra. But off Coruscant, and in public places such as Chandrila, she was Alicia Drey. She valued her privacy because she was sought to use business and economics to manipulate and harm her enemies. It was why Lancelo had been invited here, so that through her Sith personality, she could utilize him to forward her plans for Chandrila DataTech. She had made enemies over the years and sometimes it was just better to have them murdered, plain and simple.

But that couldn't happen now. Somehow, Lancelo had made a connection between the two. Somewhere, Ayra had made a mistake and messed up. But here was an opportunity to clean up. "So, Lord Ayra, how can we help you today?" spoke Lancelo quietly. He had a smug look about him that she did not like.

Not one bit.

"I have the perfect way for you to help me," Ayra replied, almost above a whisper. Then there was a sharp snap-hiss sound in the dark room and a crimson beam illuminated the space in which Darth Ayra stood.

He smiled so it did turn into a fight his saber ignited seconds after hers did, and seconds after that Lancelo's head was on the floor. His thoughts had moved quickly I can finally kill him he had thought with glee right before he cut his old master's head off. He turned to Alicia unsure if she was going to attack him or not. He watched her closely hoping he wouldn't have to fight her he wasn't sure if he could defeat a Darth. His blade was in a casual position but still ready to defend himself in case of an attack.

Darth Ayra watched on as Sanus, Lancelo's Sith apprentice, turned on his master with his own Lightsaber blade and severed his head before the old man knew what hit him. Silence ensued between the Sith apprentice and the Sith Lord that stood before him. She locked her yellow, vornskr like eyes on the Zabrak. "Why did you murder your master, boy?"

He watched the Darth closely before deciding to awnser her "He was annoying me and I saw a chance to please somone powerful and get rid of my problem." He hoped the compliment might help if even a little. He put his saber away and waited for her to make the next move.

The Sith Lord watched the apprentice quietly. Her eyes moved along his body, studying his garments to the tribal marks over his body, to the horns on top of his head. She was familiar with Zabraks and knew that they had the tendency to be excellent warriors. Given the right type of guide and training, then this Sanus boy could be a prized weapon in her arsenal.

Her free hand lifted to the door, the only exit and a click sound was heard as Darth Ayra locked it via the Force. Her thumb pressed down onto the ignition button of her Lightsaber, and the cylinder hilt retracted the crimson light back into it's enclosure. Next, her hand turned to the transparisteel screen and it began to dim to the point that nobody could see in or out. The establishment knew not to interrupt the Sith and thus nobody came to the room to investigate the disturbance.

"Take a seat Sanus," Ayra said, gesturing to the vacant space. Lancelo's lifeless gaze looked up at the two people responsible for his death. She ignored him and also took a seat across from Sanus. "Tell me what your master told you about me. Tell me everything you know, from how you became Lancelo's apprentice to what you know about me."

Her Lightsaber remained in her hand, but it was not currently on. It was an indication, however, that the Sith Lord that sat across from Sanus was ready to do what was necessary, in the event that he didn't answer her questions.

Sanus took the seat when she suggested it watching her make sure no one could see in or come to disturb them as well as taking away the only escape route. When she asked her questions he glanced at the dead corpse before starting. "He told me very little of you only that you were very powerful. I however do know your little secret about both your identities." He paused letting that info sink in before continuing to her second question. "I became his apprentice is quite simple. I simply convinced him that I would be an asset to him if he trained me. Are those answers sufficient enough?"

So he knew as well, with thanks to Lancelo. Her eyes averted from Sanus back to the deceased Sith Master, observing him. It was pathetic to share such information with someone who served you. Such things were meant to be kept a secret for a reason. He deserved to die.

Darth Ayra turned her eyes back to Lancelo's killer. "I brought your master here because I have certain individuals that need to be killed, which your master would have done for me." She folded one leg over the other, studying the Zabrak. "What do you plan to do now that you are free?"

He watched the sith as she spoke and as she finished he wasn't sure what he should say. "Whatever I want I suppose" pausing momentarily "I assume you still need them dead, and since I was going to kill them most likely anyway why don't I do it for you?" As he waited for her response he crossed his arms watching her closely.

A smile was itched over the Sith Lord's features as she studied the Zabrak. She folded her hands over one another, Lightsaber interlocked in between her finger tips as she said. "You wish to serve me, Sanus?"

"Yes . . . Master" as he said this he hoped he wouldn't regret it like the last time he had said those words. He stood stepped away from the table and got on one knee near her "If you will let me"

The Sith Lord leaned her head to the left, considering Sanus. Could he be nurtured into the weapon she desired? Would he serve her willingly? Her thoughts trailed to Lancelo. He had done a good job in teaching the Zabrak that stood before her, about the ideology of the Sith. Betrayal was our way. Or had he? Pandeima's voice filtered into her mind. "You should not kill until the person in question has given you everything they can give. What can you learn from them? What can you gain from them? And would purpose would their death serve to you?"

Lancelo's sudden death to Sanus's hand was foolhardy, in her opinion. To kill someone simply because they annoyed you showed sociopath like behavior. Such murderous intent should be culled, put behind a facade. Or should it? Didn't she require a man like Sanus to go out there and kill for the most basic of reasons?

"You betrayed your master so easily, without much thought behind it. To kill a man simply because he annoyed you. Sounds silly, doesn't it Sanus? How do I know that you won't do the same to me if my back was turned to you?"

"You must of not spent much time with him then" smirking as he thought for a moment he then said "Besides you would kill me before I would be able to kill you." Turning he moved across the room before turning he had a somewhat bored look on his face. He was tired of sitting her talking all day but he knew most sith loved to sit and do nothing. With a sigh he turned his attention back to the Darth waiting for her next question.

"That's the wrong answer." Darth Ayra unfolded her legs and rose up to her feet. She did not move towards Sanus, just simply stood up to converse. "I sense that you have a rage inside you that is in the core of your being. It isn't the first time you've lost your temper and someone has paid the price, has it?"

Lancelo and the Sith Lord had conversed about Sanus for a time. She was meticulous in her preparations and wanted to know who she was meeting. He had told her about what happened to Sanus's father and what he had done. But she wanted to hear it from the Zabrak.

She it for herself.

"What happened your father?"

He tensed noticeable when she said it was the wrong answer then stood right after. Relaxing her next question felt uncalled for but he would answer it not answer was probably dangerous. "He got what he deserved the only good thing he ever did for me was teach me about the dark side." He started pacing as he continued "He beat me at least twice a day for no d*m* reason" He stopped pacing and looked to her waiting for her assessment of his answer.

She saw it in his eyes. The flame that was behind every soul, the one that ignited when one became angry. Her eyes followed Sanus as he paced back and forth. She sensed potential in the Zabrak that paced before her, rage in his eyes at the memory of his father. It was enough for her.

"My first lesson is to never put away your weapon when another still holds theirs in their hand, especially for the given amount of time we've conversed and I've held my Lightsaber." Her eyes lowered back to Lancelo. "We must dump your former masters body. In the profession that I will teach you, the skills that I will give you and the work that we will do together, evidence is one of the factors that we must remove. As we move across the galaxy, we cannot be followed. Bodies tend to leave trails that lead back to us and that can prove costly."

Darth Ayra clipped her Lightsaber to her utility belt. A sign to Sanus that the Sith Lord had come to accept him. Her hand emerged holding a disruptor pistol in hand. Then she shot him square in the eyes and he died! Just kidding. She gestured for him to come over, holding the pistol out for him to hold. "This is a disruptor. It is illegal in the spaces of the Galactic Republic, Abrion Corporate Alliance, Fringe Confederation and Mandalorians. It is also illegal on Chandrila, which will be our next destination when we finish here."

"A disruptor has the ability to fire a shot that cannot be blocked by armour, walls and so on. Only a very skilled Force user can defend against a pistol such as this. What makes it so useful for situations such as this is a disruptor disintegrates whatever it shots at an atomic level. For example, if I were to fire this pistol at this body, then Lancelo would be atomized. What would be left behind is a scorch mark, which can be easily cleaned away by simply scattering away the black marks with your foot and if you have it with you, some water."

As Sanus took the pistol, she continued. "Obviously, if someone was to check, then they would discover that there was a body here. But because it has been atomized, they will not be able to tell who it was, who they were and who murdered them. That's good enough. Also, you will not always be able to simply disintegrate a body when you need to get rid of one in certain situations, but for today, you can."

She finished talking and showed him how to turn the safety off, how to hold the pistol, where the trigger was and the button that empties the chamber to the weapon. To show him how to reload, she guided him through the process of removing the ammunition that was in the pistol and then reloading it with a fresh clip. When she was comfortable that she knew Sanus knew how to operate the pistol, she moved to the side, at a position where Sanus could fire the weapon and where she could defend herself in the event he got the idea to use the pistol on her.

As he listened to her he was relieved he had at least survived the encounter. Taking the pistol and listened to her lessons on the disruptor pistol. Sanus took the safety off shot the body. He then turned the pistol and shot the head. Kicking both piles of ash to spread them about he held the pistol out "Interesting tool" He glanced down then back at his new master "How should I adress you exactly?"

"You would address me as your Master," she replied to him. "Come, we have much to discuss." Lifting her hand to the door, Ayra unlocked it via the Force. Lowering her hand, she made her way to the exit and led her new pupil out into the lobby. Her gaze turned to the manager of the cantina, the Lucky Den and gave her a nervous glance. She beckoned him over with her finger.

"The Black Alchemists send their regards to you and your established," she said when he arrived. "Clean up. You know what to do."
The man looked into the dark room and then back to her. "Yes... I do."
"Good." Ayra turned away from the manager of the Lucky Den and turned into the doors. Opening them with one hand, she stepped outside with Sanus at her side and spoke as they walked the streets.

"My identity as Alicia Drey is a secret. One that is closely guarded. If not for your change of allegiance, then you would of joined Lancelo in death, for I cannot allow this secret to be revealed." Her gaze averted from ahead to the Zabrak. "But there are some who threaten the existence of my identity and the work that I do. So I will train you in the ways of the dark side so that you may then prove me that you are ready to become my apprentice."

"When I have completed your training, I will send you and my subordinates out into the galaxy to find and locate certain individuals that I wish to be removed. Should you prove to be successful in your endeavors, then you will make the transference from subordinate to a full time apprenticeship under my wing."

"Think of these people that you will murder for me as a trial, a test of your worth and skill. If you are successful in their elimination, then you have proven to me that you are worth my time to fully invest my skill and knowledge to you. The difference between you being a subordinate and you being my apprentice is that, as my apprentice, you will one day succeed me, whilst as a subordinate, you are an expendable asset."

"Do you understand the perimeters of our relationship now, Sanus?"

He followed her then entire time listening to what she had to say closely. "Yes Master I do, but I want to know if there are other subordinates of yours?" He continued to follow her wondering where they were going exactly. He also wondered how long until she attempted to kill him he felt like it would be unavoidable mainly because he knew her secret an important secret. Turning his attention to his surroundings he checked to make sure no one was following them.
