She said nothing, he had to understand his feelings, not lock them away. Locking them away could slowly create a monster on the inside and that was what this man didn't need. She tried to eve coax out the words and feelings with her own mind touching his, making sure nothing was held back so that she could be sure this man would be able to train with a clean slate.

Sighing, Luke looked up at the woman slowly. "Happy now?"

Alexandra smiled and shook her head. "You misunderstand, that does not make me happy to see you in pain, but the fact that you were truthful about your past tells me volumes as well as your past itself does. You see there is a rather simple reason i asked you all of that is because i wanted you to break down and cry, to shatter and to fall apart. After all thats what i did to myself... though now in hindsight that didn't work too well for me in the end..." The last bit was far too inaudible to be heard, but it would be obvious what ever she said she didn't want heard.

Luke's eyes softened for the first time then, understanding what she meant, and how important it was for him to break the way he did. Something told him that if he kept those feelings hidden, he'd never escape from them. Putting a hand on her shoulder, he tried to comfort her. "Thanks. It means a lot that you would try to help me. I can tell you've been through a lot of pain."

"Well you see..." She smiled wide, as if nothing had happened and she hadn't looked sat at all, though her eyes did still hold a tinge of it. "... The pain just makes everything good that happens just that much better, i mean i guess we could sit here and just whine about our lives but we got many more years to make them better so no point in doing so."
