I Know You Warned Me, But.....

Kay-Larr

Kay looked at him from over her shoulder while he laughed. Maybe his mind was too preoccupied for the gravity of the situation that had presented itself. It was not in her best interest to be hunted by the Republic under the notion of being a traitor, as well as by the Sith for being a member of the Republic. Not everyone knew that she was a Force user and she'd prefer it that way. It was safer.

The night was drawing late though, so she straightened herself as she was basically being dismissed. At least [member="Nomkneer"] now understood why she was always under watch here. She approached the soon-to-be King, unsure of how much she could speak her mind. With Mythos she could say anything and treat him like any normal person, but Nomkneer was someone that she didn't know too well, so she had to be certain of everything that she said. "Thank you. I probably should go and rest. But before I retire I'd just like to let you know that whenever I am here and you need some advice or help, I'll be willing to give it. Consider it payment for my room and board. And when I am not here on Atrisia, you can always just send me a message."

Nomkneer took one last gaze at the night sky from the balcony, Atrisians had this special magic to make their landscape so beautiful with fluorescent lamps, the unique shaped houses made from glapos tree with similar japaneese design, the forest and the moon shinning its light on the entire land. Everything seemed quite calm, it seems that the coronation might go smoothly if anything else. The kaleesh heard Lady kays words and after words he looked at her.

"Thank you.. no need to worry i'll be fine, I lived a life of nothingness and hatred. After becoming general, the people and its king gave me strenght. I just hope that they keep helping me with their strength as like they've done before."

He said as he took off his cloak for more comfort and left the balcony to his room, meanwhile he took out his communicator and contacted [member="Arabella Darkhold"].

"I'm just calling to see if the indoor preparations are done. Tomorrow you meet me and from there we'll start the coronation."

He said as he walked into his room, He saw the walls of the palace decorated in golden streams heading up to the throne room. The ceremony will begin outside of the palace by welcoming everyone, A few words from the soon to be king and then he walks with his general behind him and others. once walking slowly inside the throne room he shall be placed the crown, the new king will say a speech and then sit on the throne.

He didn't want anything really fancy, Nomkneer is not one to be accustomed to people around him at all times, It was uncomfortable.

Kay bowed her head as he left. Well that was good. [member="Mythos"] would have pressed the issue even further. It wasn't as though she had some other job to go to. She just couldn't even imagine other Sith accepting her or even liking her. Only a few have ever helped her out. Fortunately she had yet to come across any that tried to cause her harm. Only bounty hunters ever did that.

Not long after [member="Nomkneer"] retired, she left the balcony and asked the guards to take her to her room. Upon entering, she noticed that the lava crystal statue of herself was present and glowing. It was beautiful but she just wasn't comfortable with such a thing staring at her while she slept. So Kay hit the button to hide it beneath the floor. While it was lowering she went to the wardrobe to see what it was that she could wear. Lord Mythos had it stocked with some clothes, which didn't surprise her. She smirked at how revealing some of the dresses were, the tops being low cut as well. And was that supposed to be a skirt? At least there was a coat. Mix and match. She was good at that.

Moments later she was settled in the king sized bed. It was nice to sleep in a bed, not to mention to sleep in a room made for that purpose, rather than an office or cargo hold on a ship. Kay wasn't sure how long the festivities would be or who would show up. Regardless she had to take every precaution that she could to protect herself. And hopefully there would be no media to snap pictures of her. Maybe she'll send word to her friend Ultimatum to get any footage or pictures of her taken off of the holo-net before her former employers saw it.
