I Need Voices!

Yes! I need voices! I have already finished the narration for the next instalment of Audio Chaos. Once I finish Kay's spoken lines, it'll be the waiting game to get the voices that we so desperately need to get this thing finished. Some have agreed to help out, yet I have yet to receive any audio files... Perhaps it's stage fright? The quality of your mic doesn't matter. Even a headset is perfect for anyone speaking through a helm, or even a droid.

The roles that need to be filled are:

James Justice (LARGE role, IRISH accent a plus!)
Ship Captain
Ship Crewmember
Ithorian Soldier (booming voice)
Soldier (thick Huttese accent)
Umbarian Crewmember
Medic Droid (mechanical voice)
Protocol Droid

Outside of James, the other characters have just between 1-5 lines and are in James' posts (for easy navigation). I only get a couple of days a week to work on this (usually wed-thurs), so that gives you some time.

Accents are great. There are plenty of them. I'm not sure what a Huttese accent is like, or an Umbarian. But yours could probably fit!

Have a look through the thread for the spoken lines and send me an mp3 or wav file of them and we'll see where you fit

Sort of common. We have the first three parts already on youtube. The Pick Up thread is the last one for that story arc. Then I'll be looking to do other short threads. It usually takes me a couple of months to get one finished, due to how little time I have to record.

Ill check those out, i'm interested in doing some voices for this but i only have a headset mic, i can still work out getting an audio file cause it might be good enough for the minor parts. Do you want to work out specifics of it or just send in files if i do them?

Headset mics work too. Just don't have the mic too close to your mouth. I can adjust volume levels and such on my audacity program. Send me a sample or two and we'll go from there Mp3, and wav files work best.
