I Want A World of...

Haytham Kaze

Judge, Judgury, Judgecutioner
With his back to her, he could sense her frustration and he smirked, amusement rolling off of him before she decided that she had gotten what she needed. Twisting on a heel, he looked her up and down again as he stepped back in her direction. It had certainly been easier than he thought it would've been to dissuade her to continue mentioning Joza. Huffing, he nods to her, signalling that he was ready to go before she explained her reason for being in the One Sith.

"You said it yourself. The most powerful industrial military complex in the galaxy. They haven't lost a battle, right?" He brushes a hand through his hair. "One day the Sith will reclaim Dromund Kaas and I plan to be there, leading it's reclamation if it's necessary. But besides that, peace in the Galaxy. After the extinction of the Jedi... It'll take time but I imagine it'll happen."

Haytham made sure to leave out the part of undermining the Sith as well. Though that meant playing Darth Orcus and the One Sith, even so, he knew that if it came down to it he would cut down his Master without a second thought.

"What makes you special? How are you powerful?" His expression was one that was essentially surprise.

“Understandable,” said Briga. Although given her experience with the One Sith, she was intelligent enough to not trust anyone, and she didn't expect the Acolyte to either. It’s what made both of them so at odds and in a constant state of unease. There were only a few individuals across the galaxy who the Caprine mystic trusted – Mandalorian Draco Vereen was one of them because they essentially saved each other’s life on a spiritual quest – but was there anyone else?

It’s a pity to think, but there is no one else, she mused. Not her own Master, Darth Prazutis. Not the Darth who sent her on the errand today, Plinror. And not Haytham walking beside her.

“I lead a congregation of Caprine and Iktotchi disciples on my planet. I am believed by many to be the reincarnation of the Goddess Ax’no.”

There was no more elaboration needed, no more proof to provide. The Priestess was deigned as Ax’no in a group vision by twelve Elder Priests. This would be her fate until she expired or was killed. As they made their way back to the temple exit, Briga turned to Haytham and said, “Where do you go from here? Are you on Coruscant for a specific reason?”

Haytham watched as they journeyed through the interior of the Dark Palace. He hums softly when she said that she led a congregation of Caprine and Iktochi disciplines. He blinks at her when she says that she is regarded as the reincarnation of the Goddess Ax'no. Of course, it didn't mean anything to him, but still... In the presence of a Faux Diety?

Certainly is something.

"And what does she represent?" He says as they returned the way they had come, or perhaps a quicker path as he looked out the entrance before turning back around to [member="Darth Ax'no"]. "I'll be remaining here for a while. At least to situate myself in the One Sith before I depart until it's necessary. I'm here on Coruscant to make a name for myself as a great battle Commander." He levels his gaze at her, she had already said that she was a Priestess, from that he had already determined that she primarily utilized the Force to combat rather than a lightsabre like he did. "Perhaps I'll lead coordinate the forces you'll fight alongside one day," he says as he crosses his arms.

"And yourself? Where do you go from here?"

"Like a good errand girl I need to get back to Darth Plinror with his scroll," said Briga. Her soft voice was thick with resentfulness. Obviously the Priestess didn't think herself a gopher for Sith Lords, but as both of them were nearer to the bottom of the Sith food chain, there was a resignation about their roles.

Or perhaps Haytham fought against the need to serve until they were stronger and ready to be Lords.

"If I had to read your fortune," said the Caprine. "I would say you will be a fine battlefield commander someday. But until then we serve our Masters. Don't we?"

Putting a clawed hand on Haytham's arm, gently, just a gesture of camaraderie, she said, "Goodbye, Haytham. Thank you for accompanying me on my journey today. I'm sure our paths will meet again and you will find what you are looking for."

And with that, Briga slipped into the congested Coruscant streets, disappearing among the throngs of tourists and residents.
